Monday afternoon - The sun is shining today and slowly melting away the snow. This spurred me on to talk about a trend which I am seeing a lot lately. Maxi skirts. Simple and easy to wear, as well as being comfy and looking stylish - these skirts have it all.

I love this colour, this outfit is perfect for summer
This spring it's all about the pastel colours as seen above. I recently bought a black one from Zara and a turquoise one from Topshop.
Black is never going to go out of fashion though. I love the ones with the slit legs.
They can literally be worn with anything, a leather jacket for the casual look or a shirt for the formal look or vest for a day out.
I love this slit leg effect.
Mary Kate Olsen looks devine in her perfectly-figure hugging black maxi skirt.

I love the look of maxi skirts but I am too afraid to wear it. Mostly because I'm so tall I don't think I could pull it off! But to answer you question about my blog layout, I mostly made my images in adobe illustrator and downloaded them to my photobucket account. With those codes I just added them using the html and I used the simple layout as a background. But thanks so much for visiting my little blog, I'm glad you did.. your's is adorable!

I was far too afriad because i'm really small! So me and you probably have the same problem both being either too small or too tall. But they will suit you amazingly if you're tall! Just go and try one, so comfy and perfect, it's the best thing I ever did!Ah that all sounds sooo confusing! well if you ever fancy earning some money I will pay you to sort my layout out aha! xx
