Easy Christmas Gift Guide for Him and Her

Hello everyone, so this has been requested quite a lot and as I work in a retail store (AllSaints) I'm used to people coming in on Christmas eve like 'aaahh I haven't finished my Christmas shopping'. Well, that's me all over, I'm rubbish at being an organised Christmas shopper so I've decided to make a few little gift guides to help you all out - this took me ages as there were too many things to put on the list so i've done a select few. P.S My clothes show post will be coming very soon, it's just taking me a while!

Christmas gift guide for her:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1: All about Eyes - Wonder Perfect Mascara gift set: Clarins

What they say: 'Discover the must-have Clarins products to revive, refresh and illuminate your eyes. Wonder Perfect Mascara visibly lengthens and curls your lashes.'

This kit contains:
- Wonder Perfect Mascara 7ml (black)
- Instant Eye Make-Up Remover 30ml (free gift)
- Eye Revive Beauty Flash 3ml (free gift)
I asked for this set for Christmas because I use the Wonderperfect mascara and usually pay £20.00 just for that alone, the fact that you get two other things free which are actually large sizes, just makes this the perfectly afforable little package.

You can view the rest of Clarin's gift selection by clicking here as they've got some great value sets.
2: Party Survival kit: Korres - £18.00
What they say: 'The perfect way to regain energy after an all night party and take care of your face, body and breath with this wonderful kit!'

This set contains:
-Wild Rose 24 hour moisturising and brightening cream for normal and dry skin (10ml)
-Evening Primrose eye cream for the reduction of fine lines and dark circles spf 6 (5ml)
-Guava showergel (50ml)
-Milk Proteins 3 in 1 cleansing, toning and eye make-up removing emulsion (14ml)
-Lemon refreshing gum (10 pieces)
  • I just love everything from Korres, a brand which I haven't ever heard of actually but they do loads of sets in Harvey Nichols which range from around £10.00 for men and women, cheap but chic.

  • See Harvey Nichols christmas gift ideas here, there's such a good selection.

3: Juicy Tubes Christmas Set: Lancome - £18.50
I'm not personally a lipgloss person when it's a pinky colour but for girls who are, this gift is perfect as everyone loves Juicy Tubes by Lancome, at £18.50 as well this is a really cute gift where you get a lot for your money.

Gift Set Contains:

-Mini Juicy Tube - Fraise 17
- Mini Juicy Tube - Lychee 19
- Mini Juicy Tube - Electro 95
- Mini Juicy Tube - Pamplemousse 33

You can view Lancome's range of christmas gifts by clicking here.

4/5: Nip and Fab's 10 Years Younger Set: £20.00
What they say: 'This set contains three cult classics to help smooth and revitalise skin for a fabulous, more youthful complexion.'  They do a range of sets like this which range from around £15.00-£25.00 and they're all really unique gifts.

6: Radiant Make-Up Set: YSL- £48.00
What they say: 'This Radiant Make-Up Set contains a False Lash Effect Mascara, the original Touche Eclat Highlighter and a 15ml Forever Youth Liberator Serum. Estimated Value Worth: £78. Enjoy a saving of £30.'

The reason I've put this onto the list, even though it's a bit more expensive is because I saw it in Debenhams the other day reduced to only £40.00, I've wanted a YSL clutch which is £500 for as long as i can remember, and i've also wanted to touché Ã©clat, for me, this gift is perfect as you could use the make up bag which comes with it as a clutch, or a make up bag and you get a full sized mascara AND the touche eclat. It's very good value for money. I need this in my life.

7: Juicy Couture's playful Viva La Juicy Gift Set - £46.00
What they say: 'contains a 50ml Eau de Parfum and a smoothing 125ml Body Lotion. Made of wild berries and mandarins, honeysuckle, gardenia, and jasmine along with amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood, and praline this fragrance is young and fun, but also extremely glamorous.' The reason I put this on the list is because it's pretty and playful but only £46.00 for the set, this is cheap in comparison to Versace's £60+ gift sets.

8: Marc Jacobs animal phone case - £40.00
Whilst this is on the expensive side at £40.00, theres so denying how unique and gorgeous it is. An incredible gift for any girl I think, especially Marc Jacobs fans.

9: Hypnôse Mascara christmas set: Lancome - £21.00
My Mum wears this mascara and every year I buy her the set because like the Clarins set, it costs around £18.00 for the mascara alone, so why not get it in a pretty box with two other products? It's the perfect gift set for anyone, as everyone likes wearing mascara.

Kit contains:
-Bi-Facil 30ml

- Le Crayon Khôl Mini Eyeliner

You can view Lancome's range of christmas gifts by clicking here.

10: Harvey Nichols gift set - £29.95.
What they say: 'A charming gift of two Harvey Nichols Mini Brut Rosé Champagne and a box of Harvey Nichols Pink Marc de Champagne Chocolate Truffles. A perfect match.'

This is expensive but it looks so beautiful, they do a range of hampers/gift sets like this, or do what I do every year and go into the food hall, choose some bits and then buy the Harvey Nichols gift box and paper for them, then you can make your own hamper at your price range.

There were too many sites/shops for me to choose from, some other places which do a good range of gifts for girls include:
Topshop, RiverIsland, Urban Outfitters, Joy and BodyShop.

Christmas gift guide for him:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1: Bleu De Chanel perfume - £45+

Please just smell this perfume, I swear any man who wears this is worthy of marriage. It is the single most incredible smelling after shave in the world. Smell it, I dare you to disagree... If i had a boyfriend, i'd want this to be 'his' smell.

2: Vivienne Westwood scarf - Range from £50 onwards

I think men just look nice in scarves, there are so many nice ones around, including AllSaints - they come in yummy gift boxes, Ralph Lauren and V.W. I think a designer scarf makes a really nice gift and to be honest, they're not 'that' expensive...

3: ALCOHOL. £16.00

What they say: ' Celebrate the legendary founder of Jack Daniel's with this Jack Daniel's Safe, two Jack Daniel's No.7 Whiskey bottles (5ml each), Jack Daniel's branded glass and spirit measure.
Jack Daniels Safe Tin Gift Set'

This Jack Daniels set is great for guys and it's only £16.00, Boots, Debenhams and BHS all do similar sets starting at around £5.00, you can get Guiness, Smirnoff, Baileys and more, these are a nice easy gift for anyone really.

4: Korres Men's Christmas Kit - £15.00

What they say: 'A collection of male grooming essentials in a gift box, ideal for a short escape, for business or pleasure. It contains a rich heady shave cream that helps ensure a deep and comfortable shave. Being pH-balanced it prevents skin roughness. The light after shave balm with ginseng, marigold, active aloe and provitamin B5 helps nourish and soothe irritated skin. Enriched with nutrients, it help improves skin tone and firmness. Rich in vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc and antioxidant enzymes, Korres shower gels provide long-lasting hydration. The toning shampoo restores energy to scalp skin cells, thus regenerating fragile hair, simultaneously reducing the rate of splitting.'

For a man who likes to groom, this is a really easy gift, it looks nice, it smells nice and you get a lot for your money. This is available from Harvey Nichols and they do a range of these sets by Korres.

5: L'Homme Gift Set - YSL - £38.99 (60ml)+

  • What they say: 'A sensual and magnetic fragrance, l'Homme Yves Saint Laurent is offered in a luxurious silver-grey hammered ribbon print giftset. This contains a 60ml l'Homme Eau de Toilette, a 50ml Shower Gel and a 50ml After-Shave Balm.'
Depending on where you get it from, this product is really well priced for such a designer gift set.

6: All Saints Rifle Boxer set - £35.00

What they say: 'Pack of three mens boxer shorts in black, grey marl and charcoal. The Rifle Boxers feature a two button front fly and 3.5cm elasticated waistband with a Ramskull branded tab to the back. This style also includes a front mini pocket detail and an AllSaints stamp to the front left of the boxer.
The Rifle Boxers are presented in an exclusive AllSaints box, making them a perfect gift this season.'
I think boxers are an easy gift, especially when they come in a nice box, I also love Calvin Klein ones and Diesel but they tend to be a lot more expensive, these AllSaints ones are nicer and cheaper.

7: Grooming Essentials - ClarinsMen Collection - £38.00

What they say: 'The perfect beginner's skin care kit for men.'

This kit contains:
- ClarinsMen Super Moisture Balm 50ml

- ClarinsMen Active Face Wash 125ml
- ClarinsMen Smooth Shave 50ml
- ClarinsMen Anti-Fatigue Eye Serum 10ml
- Fatigue Fighter 5ml
Presented in a handy ClarinsMen wash bag

I just think this is an easy gift at a mid range price for someone into grooming, most guys use a wash bag and shaving creme so I suppose it'd come in handy.
8: Calvin Klein two set boxers: Debenhams - were £48.00 now £28.00.

At £28.00 these boxers are a steal and such an easy gift.

9: Teds Grooming Room Razor Quest: Ted Baker - £18.00
What they say: 'A flawless shave is essential, so enlist the services of Ted’s Razor Quest. With a cooling shave gel, specially designed brush and handy face cloth, you’ll be smoother than a soldier on leave.' This is available on the 3 for 2 offer at Boots.

My advice when men are concerned is if in doubt, buy perfume or an Xbox game. FIFA usually goes down well.
I hope this gift guide comes to use for you all.
Lots of love, Em
