Hey lovelies, so yes, I have reviewed a toothpaste. I bet you’re thinking ‘whaaat?!’ but trust me, this is a good product well worth the review. I felt that I needed to tell you all about it’s magical powers. So everyone wants white teeth, unfortunately contstant professional polishes are unaffordable and whilst veneers are a dream of mine, could I really part with that much money for some fake teeth? No I hear you cry. I’m sure you’ve all tried everrrything on the market, now, I’m not a dentist at all, but, after having three years of braces when I was younger, I realized that the best way to get white teeth, is to just brush. Simple. However, when I was getting my braces, I was told to brush my teeth twice a day for 6 minutes each time. This is the whitest my teeth have ever been, they literally looked gleaming. Since getting rid of my braces, I have tried everything to maintain that whiteness (who has 12 minutes to stand and brush their teeth? People already complain about how long it takes me to get ready for bed!). But, do not worry, I have a solution, something which can accelerate that brushing process. Yep, I said it, a teeth whitener that ACTUALLY works, it actually whitens your teeth…
As
most of you know, I’m currently planning the #northmeetup which is taking place
very soon. Basically, I decided that too many Northern bloggers can’t always
afford the travel to London events. So, whilst this isn’t a substitute, I’ve
decided to plan an event for everyone to enjoy. I was contacted by Blanx who
are actually supplying some of these items for the goodie bags on the day
(thank you Blanx), but I just couldn’t help but try it out myself first… now I
was going to just wait until after the event to write about it, but this
product blew me away after the first use that I just had to tell you all about
it. Not to mention the amount of people who asked me for reviews after I uploaded
a photo of it to instagram.
I
thought that this was just your standard toothpaste, but it actually comes with
a little LED light which you simply screw onto the top of the toothpaste. Now,
how on earth does this work? I sat and read the leaflet that comes with it so
that I could educate myself. It’s difficult to explain in my own words, but
what they say is: It ‘whitens from the
first application, the BlanX White Shock Toothpaste with LED light has been
designed exclusively to boost the effect of the Actilux® formulation. The only
toothpaste in the world with Actilux®, the innovative formula that is activated
by light and whitens your teeth every time you smile.’ So basically, the LED
light activates the toothpaste, and once you’ve brushed your teeth with, this light is activated every time another
light touches your teeth/you smile.
It’s honestly the coolest thing I’ve
ever seen, and this whitening toothpaste is so much more than just a whitening
toothpaste. Due to the light being harmless, you can brush your teeth as many
times a day with it. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Like I said, I was impressed with this from the first use and my teeth have never felt so clean yay. So many people have asked me where to buy this from, but you can buy Blanx products from Boots (not this particular one until July) and you can get this particular tooth paste from FeelUnique.com here or even Asda for around £7.49,
which is really cheap considering that you get an LED light with it and how good it is.
Will you be using this? Can you
recommend any teeth whitening items? Love Em x
