Erno Laszlo is an exciting brand that I was sent to try recently and I am so glad I did. I am always honest in my reviews so this must be a good brand otherwise I wouldn't include it in my blog. I write this blog so that you can save money and not waste it. This skincare range screams Hollywood, looks oh-so Pinterest (I'm obsessed with Pinterest) and modern in any bathroom, and will improve your skin incredibly. It's a brand that I'd never even heard of (bad beauty blogger), but now, it's a brand that I will never forget. Welcome to the exciting world of Erno Laszlo... I'd like to talk you through my current favourite items...
First up is the Multi-Phase Make Up Remover, to take away your make up from the day. Everyone knows that cleansing is essential so if you use just one thing, use this. It's better than face wipes because it doesn't get rid of all the natural oils in your skin, I can't believe I ever used to use just face wipes to remove my make up, big no no. This soothes and hydrates which is what you want when taking your make up off. It has cucumber and aloe extracts in it to nourish your skin and even has herbal anti-inflammatories to soften the skin and defend. As if that wasn't good enough, it also conditions the skin and targets dehydration, but my fave thing about this is that it soothes tired eyes. My eyes are always tired so this is a win win for me. So bin the face wipes which can just strip the skin and pop this little soother on your face when wanting to properly remove make up. After taking off my make up with this, I then follow with my S5 neutralise cleanser.
Now this moisturiser is very exciting. Erno Laszlo's Refresh Moisture Infusion. The packaging is so enigmatic and is probably the most incredibly high-end and just nicest packaging that I've ever seen, it's so Chanel. This is inspired by Grace Kelly and is designed to increase radiance and even your skin tone, it's kind of like a night time primer I'd say. As if that isn't good enough, it also has watermelon fruit extracts to keep the skin hydrated with anti-oxidants that guard against age spots, fine lines and wrinkles. I am loving watermelons at the moment, so I must be over loading my body with them. This is perfect for me because I'm looking for something which will hydrate my skin and give my skin a radiant glow. I have seen a notable change in the brightness of my skin since using this. It makes me feel really fresh faced. It also smells beautiful.
I've discussed Erno Laszlo's Anti Blemish Control Treatment in my 'which serum is for me?' blog post a while ago because it really is fantastic and if spots are an issue, then this is for you. I have break outs once a month just on the chin area and this clears them. It's full of anti-bacterial ingredients and it sooooothes the skin, it basically stops break outs. I put it on each evening. I do find that it can dry the skin up, not too much and not after using it once, but it does make the area that you've put it noticeably dry, if you use it every day for example , so I'd always suggest only using this for a few days, then your spot will go after the first day and then just moisturise and tadaa. I really have seen a difference though, I've gone to sleep with horrible spots and woken up and the redness has gone and the spot has completely gone down. Hiphip hooray, a spot treatment that actually works.
Last up on my faves list is the intriguing 'Shake It, Tinted Treatment'. For me, I use this as a primer. It evens the complexion, primes and and just gives a flawless finish once you apply your make up. This is basically a tinted oil-control treatment, that primes and will treat your skin whilst you're wearing make up. In Summer and if you dare to bare, you could just wear this alone. It gives a really nice matte finish, I then add make up over the top. I think this is my fave items out of them all. I've never seen anything like it. I love how it treats your skin whilst making it look flawless.
So I thought I'd introduce you to some of the products that I've been using for the past few weeks, I hope you like the look of them, do keep a look out as I'm sure they'll be featured in many more posts. I really love this brand, they have skin tests online so you can find out which products are perfect for your skin type. Make sure you find out which products are for you on ernolaszlo.com. I want them all, I can't wait to stock up on some more goodies as this really is skincare at its best.
Have you ever used/heard of Erno Laszlo? What's your favourite skincare brand? Do you like the sound of any of these products?
