Empties, The Products I've Used Up and GIVEAWAY

Hello! So I randomly decided to do this post today when my favourite powder ran out, I realised that recently, I have run out of a lot of beauty products, some good and some bad. Today I want to talk to you about those products and discuss whether I will be re-buying them, or throwing them away forever...

Jurlique Herbal Recovery, Antioxidant Face Oil. I never ever wanted this to run out but unfortunately it is running out because 1] I've used it every day for a long time and 2] The lid is really hard to screw back on and when I went to London, it leaked all over my bag much to my annoyance. It's such a good product when it comes to fixing basically any skin concerns, it's my ultimate skin serum. I did a post summarising all of the oils and serums on the market today with a review of this product if you missed that.

ThisWorks In Transit No Traces Face Wipes. I am so upset that this is empty. It did last me a long time but luckily our relationship isn't over just yet... I travel often and I get sick of carrying a full packet of face wipes with me every time I do, so instead, I just put 10 face wipes in this handy little carry pot. It makes a nice little bin too for used face wipes.

Mineralize Skin Finish Natural Powder, MAC Cosmetics. I have re-bought this item hundreds of times. Half of MAC's profits must be from me. I have been using this since I started wearing make up. It isn't thick enough to wear by itself, but it gives a gorgeous, natural finish over any foundation. It pains me every time it runs out, I seem to go through this so quickly. I am yet to find a powder which even comes close to being as good as this.

Studio Fix Fluid, MAC Cosmetics. Again, like the Mineralize Powder, I have been wearing this for as long as I can remember. I took 5 used studio fixes to MAC the other day to exchange them for a lipstick. I don't actually wear this foundation anymore as I found Rimmel's Wake Me Up foundation which is a complete dupe to MAC's more expensive, Studio Fix foundation. I don't think I will be buying this for a while, I want to try some other foundations. My skin has kinda of gone off this.

GIVEAWAY! John Frieda Sheer Blonde Everlasting Blonde Shampoo. I have to say, this is the best shampoo that I have ever used when it comes to bringing out the colour in your hair. It makes my hair look fresh, bright and sun kissed. I've noticed that my colour has lasted a lot longer since using this. I need to go and re-buy it this weekend. The people at John Frieda are so nice though, that they are letting me give away 10 bottles of this incredible shampoo to YOU, my lovely readers. Simply do the raffle copter at the bottom of this blog post to be in with a chance of winning. Sorry to those of you who don't have blonde hair. I will do a giveaway for everyone ASAP.

Dior Forever Foundation. I am absolutely gutted that this has run out. At £31.00 though, it's not cheap. I think I will treat myself to this when I get enough Boots points as it really is fabulous and I'm finding it quite difficult living without it. You can read my Dior Forever Foundation review here if you missed out on why it's such a great foundation.

Bioderma Photoderm Apres-soleil. I used this up very quickly in the past two weeks after sunning myself in the garden. It's much better than many after suns that I've used, it prolongs your tan (and it really does, mine is still here now), moisturises and cools the skin. I absolutely love Bioderma and any other French skincare brand, so it was obvious that this was going to be a fantastic product. After sunbathing, I could never not lather my body in after sun. It just revives my skin. I am so gutted that this has run out. Thank you Bioderma for prolonging my natural tan.

Dermalogica Clearing Mattifier. I will not be re-buying this product, it cost me around £30 from what I can remember, which is quite frankly, extortionate for something which doesn't even work. I really did rate Dermalogica, but after two facials last week, my skin has been left well, not so great. I understand that facials bring out all the badness, so I turned to Dermalogica to try and fix that and was told that if I put this on to the congested area then it would break down the congestion and I would be left with no spots. It's safe to say that this doesn't work. It was a complete waste of money. I hate to completely slate products but I really am gutted that this doesn't work. If anyone has used this product and has loved it, please do tell me what I'm doing wrong. I hate those pesky under skin spots which just will not go away. Unfortunately, as promised, this did not fix it.

Dr.Ceuticals Leg Tone and Shimmer and Tummy Tone. I have had these for quite some time now and I am so upset that they have run out. I'm not going to lie and say yes, I have seen a complete difference in my body, because I haven't really been measuring it. All I know is, that yes, my skin does feel firmer, tighter and when I put this on my legs, it makes me feel so much more confident about them. I will be re-buying these. I love anything which promises to slim me down. I hate my legs!

Nourish Argan Skin Rescue. I am upset that this has run out, particularly at my time of need, I am having the worst skin week ever and I find that when I put this on my skin, it really does rescue it.

MAC Cosmetics Splashproof Lash. I bought this years ago in the airport. Its only just coming to an end (and is probably very much out of date by now. I bought this because I searched the internet for a good waterproof mascara and couldn't find one, but the MUA at MAC told me that Pamela Anderson wears this underwater, so I was sold. It really doesn't budge abroad, it just makes me feel tired because it's very thick and dark, it makes my eyes heavy. I probably wont re-buy it as I'm not really that bothered about mascara abroad, but still, if you're looking for a good waterproof mascara, which is smudge proof. this one is for you.

Murad Skin Perfecting Primer. Oh I am in love with this product, I got it in my Cosmopolitan Blog Awards 2012 Goodie Bag. I am pretty upset that it's run out. It's lasted me almost a year though and preps my skin like nothing else ever has. On good skin days, I have worn this primer alone before, that's how good it is at creating a flawless base.
