Christmas Travel Gifts: Last Minute Christmas Shopping

Happy Christmas Eve eek, the big day is almost here, how surreal. Now I know I’ve written quite a few gift guides, firstly theres my gift guide for her, gift guide for him and then a cheeky little Christmas wishlist of my own, but WorldDutyFree and Clinique have inspired me to talk about the perfect travel gifts, gifts for the girl on the go (or the guy) - the day before Christmas, why not ey? I know a lot of people who are Christmas shopping today, oops. I’ve never really thought of buying people travel gifts, but now I think about it, most people will go on holiday at some point in their lives so a lot of these things will come in handy (plus they're all so cute)...

1] L’Occotaine Hand Cream Collection* – First up, hand creams. I personally don't really like handcream, it makes me feel all warm and clammy but, this is the perfect little tin for someone who does love handcream (my grandma is actually obsessed and I know for a fact that this is the perfect present for her). I love L'Occotaine and this certainly doesn't disappoint, even as someone who doesn't love handcream, I can still appreciate this. £23.00 for 4 hand creams - bargain I hear you say.

2] Clarins Travel Set* – This is literally the perfect gift for me, I’m so glad that I’ve been introduced to it otherwise I’d never have even thought of asking for this under the tree but as I’m going to Vietnam over Easter, I will need to pack light and this is perfect, plus it will fit in my hand luggage, I was surprised at just how much stuff was in it though. What products do you get inside?

- HydraQuench Cream (my personal favourite)
- One-Step Facial Cleanser
- Hand And Nail Treatment Cream
- Eye Contour Gel
- Moisture Rich Body Lotion
-Beauty Flash Balm

All in all, this kit, for £35.00 contains absolutely everything that you will ever need - I think this is the perfect present. They even do a men's version too - Clarins, you are truly fabulous.

3] O.P.I Passport to Colour Set – I think this is really cute for any girl who loves to paint her nails, particularly if she's into good brands, with O.P.I being one of the best in the world for nail varnishes, what's not to love? I don’t think I’ve ever run out of a nail varnish so these are probably more appropriate sized bottles, but for someone who's going travelling or is always on the go, it’s so difficult to fit different varnishes in your bag but with this set, you can fit 5 different shades in your bag and it will only feel as heavy as having one big pot of varnish. Perfect. I know most of my friends would love this.

A little bit of Champagne wouldn't be a bad idea either would it? Thank you WorldDutyFree.

4] Clinique Gift Set*Last on my last minute Christmas gifts is this party set from Clinique. I was kindly sent this gift set to review from John Lewis and it does keep selling out which means it must be good, however, I was a little bit disappointed when I looked inside, whilst I love the make up bag, I love getting a make up bag over Christmas time, both my Mum and Grandma asked me if the products inside were free samples, it seems like £55.00 which is more expensive than most gift sets this year is quite extortionate for this set, but when I've reviewed all of the products inside and really had a good play around with them, I've come to the conclusion that it's actually a very good gift set. So what products do you get inside and do I like them?

- Clinique Quickliner (full size)
- Clinique High Impact Mascara (full size)
- Clinique All About The Eyes Cream - This is literally incredible, after one use it makes the skin around my eyes look so much tighter - I just wish the bottle was a little bit bigger.
- Clinique Roundest Raspberry Lipstick Chubby Stick - It's good that you get a full sized chubby stick, and I love the colour Roundest Raspberry.
- Clinique Nail Varnish
- Clinique Eye Palette - The whole colour scheme/theme of this party set is pink, which personally isn't for me as I'd never wear pink eye make up but for someone who is super girlie, this is a great eye shadow set.

All in all, you do get quite a lot for your money, I was sold when I tried the chubby stick and the mascara. Winner.

So there we have it, many thanks to WorldDutyFree and John Lewis for the inspiration.
I hope everyone has an incredible Christmas, I wish you all a VERY merry Christmas. Even if this isn't going to be under your tree this year, maybe it's something you can treat yourself to later in the year. I know that I'll be treating quite a few people to the Clarins gift set.

Lots of love, Em x
Have you bought anyone any travel gifts? Do you have any travel plans in the New Year?
