Tis the season to be jolly tra la la la la, lalalala. 2 days to go! Hey everyone, I thought it was time I got my act together and wrote another 'What's In my Make Up Bag' post as I know a few of you have said that you've liked my monthly make up bag posts and I absolutely love writing them. I have been using some pretty exciting things this month so I'm very excited to share my December make up bag with you...
Burberry Lipstick in Nude Cashmere - I've discussed this quite a lot on my blog because it's just so good, you must be sick of hearing about it. I absolutely love the natural-nude lip look and this has to be my favourite lipstick at the moment. Unfortunately, it's snapped, so I do have to be really careful with it and it doesn't look so pretty anymore in the packaging, but, it still looks nice on my lips and I guess that's all that matters. It makes my lips look bigger because it's a dark nude, rather than a pale nude.
NUDE ProGenius Treatment Oil - I was kindly given this to try quite a while ago and I am absolutely loving it, it is really similar to Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Oil which I've done a full review of if you want to have a read of that but as soon as that ran out, it was time to start trying this one instead. At the moment, it's making my skin look really soft, fresh and spot free so I'm really impressed.
Benefit The Porefessional Agent Zero Shine Powder - Ah I was really lucky to receive the cutest little gift pack in the post from Benefit this month, including this and even an edible cookie version of it too (safe to say I ate that within a few seconds). Ever since, I have been really excited to try this out, I will be writing a full review very soon after I've rigorously tested it but at the moment, it's proving to most definitely be a shine vanishing powder, but then again, Benefit has never let me down on products yet, I think everything they create is incredible.
Real Techniques Blush Brush - As most of you know, I absolutely adore Real Techniques. I swear by their brushes, I have reviewed them here if you want to read more about them and see why they're so great. Recently, I treated myself to the blush brush after dropping my old one down the toilet (how is that even possible!?) and it's just as good as their other brushes. I find that most brushes take a bit of 'breaking in' but with these ones, they're perfect after the first use (and oh so affordable), if you don't already use these - why?! They're just perfect.
Rimmel Glam Eyes Mascara - I have been using this mascara for years and always loved it, but recently started reusing it. I usually buy it from cheap shops like 'Xtras' and stuff and it only costs around £3.00, it just gives the darkest but longest lashes for such a good price.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector - I keep going back to this product (as you can tell, it's a little bit dirty) - but it just gives such a gorgeous, natural highlighted finish. I really feel that this gives a Kim Kardashian make up look, it's a great product to use if you're wanting to re-create her highlighted look. Some days I apply it along my cheek bones before my foundation but recently I have been applying my foundation first and then blending this along my cheek bones after and I've found that it looks so much nicer like this, it just wakens up my face.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation - Now whilst I am an avid Vichy Dermablend fan, after seeing Kate Moss wearing this on an advert recently, I decided to dig it back out of my drawer and try it again. Well, it certainly didn't disappoint so I've decided that I have fallen back in love with Rimmel's Wake Me Up foundation, if only it will make me look (or feel) a tiny bit like Kate Moss, I'm happy.
Urban Decay Glide On Eye Pencil in Cuff - I usually wear gold glitter on my eyes, particularly over Christmas time, but I've found that this silver liner from Urban Decay has really opened up my eyes, it makes them look bigger, fresher and brighter so I think I'll be wearing silver more often.
BeconfiDent Teeth Whitener - I was asked to trial BeconfiDent's teeth whitener earlier this month and I have noticed a huge difference in the whiteness of my teeth after only using it on and off for about 20 days. I will put a full review up soon.
Eyeko Eye Lash Curlers - I am absolutely loving this lash curler by Eyeko, a brand which I have never actually used before but this came with my Glamour Beauty Edit box and they're incredible, I find that some lash curlers make my lashes square and actually make them look shorter, but these actually do their job and curl them really well.
HD Brows Eye Brow Set in Foxy - I have been trying to get to grips with the famous HD Brows Eye Brow palette this month after again, receiving it in the amazing Glamour, Latest In Beauty box. I love the colours and the case but I just find it quite hard to use in comparison to my L'Oreal eye brow pencil.
Kevin.Murphy Young Again Masque - Ah as most of you know, I am desperately trying to grow my hair, so I am really trying to only use natural and strengthening products on it (read about my hair growth journey here). This Young Again Masque by Kevin Murphy was recommended to me by my hairdresser (her hair has literally grown so long since using it) and whilst I can't comment on how much it's made my hair grow/made it stronger yet as I've only used it a few times, I can vouch for how incredible it smells and I do feel that my hair is much stronger and healthier after just a few uses.
What's in your make up bag this month? Have you used any of these products? Do you like the sound of any of these products?
Love Em x
