What's In My Make Up Bag - February

The contents of my make up bag this month are really different to what I usually use, I do tend to change my bag and mix it up on a monthly basis but this month I’ve really mixed it up and gone back to some products which I’ve always loved and tried some exciting new products out!

I have been using my Prada make up bag which came with my Prada D'Iris gift set, it's so big and nicely fits all my make up inside it.

Bobbi Brown Lipstick In Shade Burnt Red - My flat mate bought me this as a late birthday present and I've been wearing it loads recently, I absolutely love it - it's so smooth and the shade is so nice. She bought me it as a dupe of Tom Ford's wild ginger as she knew that I wanted that but it's so expensive so she kindly chose me an alternative. I haven't bought anything from Bobbi Brown for a while so it's lovely to have some BB back in my life.Benefit High Brow Glow Pencil - I've been using this loads recently because I'm trying to go for more of a natural look and this really helps to achieve just that. I just put the tiniest bit underneath my eyebrow and it makes me feel really radiant and opens up my eyes.

Make Up Forever HD Foundation -  I bought this foundation after reading that it's the foundation that Kim Kardashian wears, I absolutely adore Kim Kardashian's make up and I'm always looking for ways to do my make up like her. As soon as I landed in Paris, I headed for Sephora and bought loads of Make Up Forever products. This foundation really is incredible, it just makes the skin look absolutely flawless. I'm so happy that I've started using this again.

The Porefessional Primer by Benefit Cosmetics - Another one from Benefit cosmetics but I've been carrying the mini version of this everywhere with me, it's always in my bag and ready for any sleepovers. It makes my skin look absolutely perfect and flawless before I've even applied foundation. It makes me want to cry that I've nearly used up two big tubes of this already. It really is one of my favourite primers ever, it makes my skin so so smoooooth. I really didn't rate this to begin with but now I absolutely love it and I can see why it's been voted one of the best primers in the world!

L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara - I have wanted to try this for ages, ever since seeing L'Oreal's new advert for it. Recently I received this in a Latest In Beauty Box (review coming soon, it's an exciting one!) At the moment, I am persevering with this product but it doesn't really give the look that I desire when applying mascara, it just seems very dry and doesn't make my lashes look particularly long or thick which is a shame, but I'm going to keep trying.

E45 Cream - This is a bit of a boring one from me but I've gone back to using E45 cream as I've run out of my Body Shop facial moisturiser and I just love how natural and simple this is on the skin. I have really dry legs and skin, this is perfect to help, plus, my itchy legs.

Nars Blush in Orgasm - I completely forgot that I have this, but now I've found it, I can't get enough of it. I keep wearing this with my new Laguna bronzer from Nars and they compliment each other so well. I would have thought that this would be too sparkly for me but it's really not, it's lovely and has a lovely gold shimmer to it.

Flash By Jimmy Choo Perfume - World Duty Free - I was kindly sent this fragrance by World Duty Free because it's available at World Duty Free at travel exclusive prices. I've got to say, it smells incredible. I've never used a Jimmy Choo perfume before or even thought about looking at them, when I sprayed this, I thought it was very strong, but once you leave it for a few minutes, it's really fruity and floral - my kind of fragrance. It smells delicious and it feels like a real treat spraying Jimmy Choo onto my arm. This fragrance is described of having 'sparkles of pink pepper, tangerine and strawberry... with a flash of white flowers and tuberose' - it's the ultimate girlie perfume and the bottle just looks gorgeous.

What's in your make up bag this month? Do you like any of the things that I've got? Have you used any of the above products?
Lots of love, Em x

  17. Finally, someone else who isn't particularly enjoying using L'Oreal's new mascara. I cannot wear it alone and HAVE to use it in combination with another mascara. I'm quite disappointed tbh as L'Oreal usually do amazing mascaras (i.e. Volume Million Lashes). It definitely doesn't volumise my eyelashes but more or less just separates them and slightly lengthens them :( X
