Another month, another make up bag. My favourite posts to read are wishlists and 'whats in my make up bag' posts, I love to have a little nosey inside peoples bags and I really do switch up my bag on a monthly basis so I really enjoy sharing this with you. This months gorgeous make up bag is a beautiful leather number c/o Liz Earle and actually, one which I think will remain as my make up bag for quite a few months, it's easy to clean, it's big enough but not too big and it's neutral and sophisticated looking. Let's take a look inside...
KIKO Lip and Cheek Stain - Oh my gosh, this is so beautiful and vibrant, I am loving this colour at the moment, it actually really reminds me of the Clarins spring launches - I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the denim style packaging, but I do really love the product inside. This colour just gives me a radiant flush on both my cheeks and my lips and gets me super excited for Spring. As you can see below, it's not that thick so it's buildable and it's not actually that bright, it's a nice fresh colour. You can read about my other favourite Spring picks here.
Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream - Gosh I feel like I have reviewed this multiple times recently, it's featured on so many posts because I truly do love the product,I was lucky enough to try out some of Bourjois new releases and it's safe to say I haven't put this down, I don't intend on ever stopping using this. I really do think that this is responsible for sorting my skin out (read about my new skincare routine here) - it corrects pretty much everything and it's like wearing skin care whilst still getting the medium-buildable coverage of a foundation. It gives me a nice dewy finish too and covers everything up but feels super light-weight and good for my skin.
Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Booster - Another product which I mentioned on my Spring favourites post but this really is my hero product this month. This truly beats any other highlighter, it's beautiful, natural, dewy and radiant and really does instantly boost my complexion and waken me up. It kind of just looks like crushed pearls, so delicate and beautiful but not too shiny, just perfectly radiant. Depending on how I'm feeling, I'll wear this as a primer or I'll just put it on my cheeks.
Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Eye Cream - Oh my gosh, this is a little hidden gem, I am so glad that I found it. This has such good coverage and actually does cover up my under eyes, I actually prefer this to YSL Touche Eclat, you can see the thickness of it below, it gives such great coverage whilst caring for your undereyes at the same time but it feels so light, this helps with the worst under eye circles and obviously, goes really well with the Bourjois CC cream - Bourjois are winning this Spring for amazing skin-care-make up.
RMK Lipgloss/Lipliner - Oh golly gosh this is such a beautiful product, I hadn't ever used any products from RMK before until I worked with them recently and I am so glad that I've been introduced to the brand. I can't actually find this online but I will have another look and add the link in for you. This lipgloss (see swatch below) is the perfect me colour, it's natural yet has so much shimmer to it and makes my lips look very 3D because it's nice and thick. I love iridescent sparkles and this is exactly what this is. At the other side, you have a lipliner which is such a gorgeous nude colour, I just put this underneath my bottom lip to make my lips look much bigger but actually, it does work as a lipstick too so I think you could use this as a lipstick and then put the gloss over the top. Love love love. Thank you RMK for coming into my life, you are fabulous, I want to try everything!
Liz Earle Strengthening Nail Colour - This truly is a Spring favourite, do I even need to explain? Just look how beautiful this colour is. Love at first sight.
Benefit Gimme Brow - I seriously cannot live without this product now I've started using it, I am well and truly hooked - it makes having nice, full brows so quick and easy and now I really don't have an excuse not to have good brows. You can read my full review of Benefit's Gimme Brow here.
E.L.F Moisturizing Lipstick - This has been my go-to lipstick recently, particularly for every day wear too because it's really not too dark, it's quite girlie and playful for day time. It is super moisturising too, it doesn't ruin/dry out my lips like most lipsticks do. I was kindly given this after appearing live on beauty chat TV and I was over the moon to receive a bag brimming with ELF goodies as ELF is a brand that I've wanted to try for months. You may have seen me put a few selfies up on Instagram (you can follow me on Insta here) wearing this lipstick, it's safe to say that it hasn't left my lips for a while and is going to be firmly staying in my make up bag for the foreseeable future.
Suqqu Collection Balancing Cheeks - How could I forget this gorgeous little blush? I discovered this on the Selfridges website and the Suqqu team kindly let me try some of their amazing products, I can see why there's such a hype around them. These are such beautiful, feminine pinks - I use them both blended together on the apples of my cheeks for a girlie day time look.
Have you used any of these products? Would you want to try any of the above? What's in your make up bag this month?
Lots of love, Em x
