Hello everyone! So I've been in London lots recently and thought I'd share what I've been up to with you. I went to an amazing event with Next to check out their new collection and then last night I went to the Katy Perry Prism launch with Claire's accessories. It's safe to say that it's been a hectic month so far and I'm back in London again next week for some more exciting events too so I can't wait to update you on those too!...
First up, the Next New In event. This was held in the Soho Hotel in the penthouse suite and it was absolutely amazing, literally the most beautiful hotel - I must stay there sometime.
In true press day style, the food was amazing.
The lollies were yummy too...
Hair stylists from Blow were on hand to fix our hair (mine was ruined by the rain so I was very excited and relieved to see them inside, ready and waiting to fix my afro).
My trousers are from Topshop, you can buy them online here. When I say I'm in love, I mean it. They're new new favourite item. I've pretty much re-vamped my whole wardrobe and I'm happy to say that these are a part of it. If you're not wanting to pay Topshop prices, ASOS have done a kind of copy version of them here for just £16.00 (thank me later!) My shoes are from AllSaints, they're old season but these ones are very similar!
The food continued to come and me and Becca (FashionTrain, we went to the event together) were only meant to stay for an hour or so but we ended up staying all day!
Oh gosh these fish and chips were the best.
Obviously we enjoyed the clothes which surrounded us, I loved this beautiful pastel stand.
I also got my nails done on the day, how gorgeous are they. You may have seen these feature on my Vietnam travel posts.
I need a fluffy pink (and white too please) jumper!
The rain poured outside but we felt like we were in heaven with the beautiful clothes, amazing food and on-hand hair dressers and beauticians.
Just as we were about to leave, the afternoon tea arrived...
With lavender cocktails! How very fitting! (As most of you know, I opened my own online store called LVNDR eek so I got extremely excited at this point).
I took this photo from Becca's Instagram (fashiontrain) - we had the cutest day ever and it was so lovely to see her again and to see all of the Next team, they're such a lovely bunch. On this photo, we're actually inside the amazing, huge bath tub inside the suite. Amazing. My leather jacket is from Zara, again, old season sorry but similar here and I found a copy of it for £19.99 here, oh my gosh aha. My shirt is from H&M, very similar here. As mentioned, the trousers can be bought here and the shoes here! Phew! Outfit, sorted.
The next event was the Katy Perry prism collection launch by Claire's Accessories.
To this I wore my gorgeous LVNDR giraffe necklace, shop it here (just £7.99 and I absolutely LOVE it, even if I am a little bit biased - you can even get a matching ring too though eek!)
I then wore my gorgeous new pastel two piece co-ordinate, C/O Missguided as a cute little Easter gift. Best Easter gift ever - thank you so much Missguided! You can buy the set here. My sandals are from Primark yep Primark and my coat is from Topshop, here or a cheaper (almost identical) version online here - I love the yellow Topshop version here though - choices choices! I'm not sure why one of my legs looks more pale than the other, I have skin tights on so maybe the lighting affected them!
My gorgeous pastel nails are from the Models Own speckled egg collection - um how beautiful?!
The Claire's event was held at the Sanderson Hotel and here is your first look at the new Katy Perry Prism collection...
She looks so gorgeous and very girl-nextdoor on the packaging.
I loved the dainty little triangular items.
and wanted to eat all of the cookies.
I absolutely LOVE these cat hair clips from the collection and must add them to my hair accessories collection.
I caught up with the lovely Ashley James at the event, you can see her blog here. I also met her lovely and stunning friend Aj.
I also spent the night with my lovely blogging friend Victoria (inthefrow) and met some lovely ladies, Helen (MelonLady), Hannah (AwayWithTheFairies), Arabella (ArabellaGolby) and Becca (BeccaRose). The photobooth was pretty fun.
Some of the jewellery from the new range isn't really my style of jewellery, see above, but I still like the look of it, just not on me - it's probably a bit too chunky for me but I love the more dainty items from the collection!
I love this necklace too
and me and Victoria both fell in love with these earrings.
The floral crowns are just to die for...
and I seriously want all of these amazing wrap around headbands. I actually bought one the other day from Claire's, see below... and I really want it in every colour.

Crazy in love with Melon's headband and dress, I kept telling her how amazing her hair looked. So beautiful!
Above is the contents of my goodie bag... some incredible things.
Worlds cutest headphones award?

amazing nails!
cool sunnies too!
and I now own my own floral headbands eek!
I've had a lovely few times in London and can't wait to return next week. I've loved meeting loads of new bloggers and I've loved checking out lots of new, exciting launches!
