April Favourites

It's crazy that it's the end of April already, time is going so quickly, it's actually scary. It's May though, how exciting, that means we're getting so close to Summer! This month has been an epic one, with some pretty epic products so I thought I better talk you through my favourites this month. Trust me, you don't wanna miss this one...

Kiehl's Creme De Corps Soy Milk&Honey Whipped Body Butter

Kiehl's Creme De Corps Soy Milk&Honey Whipped Body Butter review

Kiehl's Creme De Corps Soy Milk&Honey Whipped Body Butter - How could I not include this? I have wanted this for years, ever since Kiehl's opened their store in Leeds. Firstly, it smells dreamy, secondly, it's like applying whipped cream to your body and third? It comes in the largest, dreamiest tub, it instantly brightens up my dull bathroom. I actually put too much of this on my skin at first and I had to let my skin absorb it but my legs honestly felt perfectly smooth for days afterwards.

Fake Bake, The Face, Anti-Aging Self-Tanning Lotion - So you've probably seen me raving about this a lot this month, it was featured in my April Make Up bag post and it just gives me the nicest tan on my face, so much so that I feel confident without make up now. It hasn't made me break out either which is amazing as I'm always scared of applying fake tan to my face but this is the nicest colour.

S5 Vitality Mask

S5 Vitality Mask - Okay, so, last year I literally raved about so many S5 products, they seriously are an amazing brand and now, they're back and they're already at the top of my favourites. I was lucky enough to receive their vitality mask to try out and I'm already hooked. I apply this before a night out, when I'm having a bad skin day and it just sorts my skin out, it makes it look less dull and it seriously does make my make up look much more flawless, I see it as kind of a primer within a skin mask. The great thing about S5 is that everything is organic, so it's really kind to the skin and you're not putting any harsh chemicals on it. It's described at the ultimate skin perfecting mask to enhance cellular longevity and vitality whilst it refines, firms and illuminates. Obviously I'm not a skincare expert so I can't say, oh yes, it's enhanced my cellular longevity, but, what I can vouch for, is how firm, smooth and illuminated my skin is after applying this a few times a week.

The Body Shop Mango Body Sorbet

The Body Shop Mango Body Sorbet - I absolutely love The Body Shop, as most of you are probably aware (I talk about my love for them all the time) but they really are a top brand, they just keep bringing out so many exciting new additions and I was lucky enough to be given some of their new body sorbets to try. They're not available until July (boo) but they're gonna be the perfect Summer treat, trust me. They're designed to deliver a 'frosty' burst of moisture and freshness to skin, keeping you hydrated without the sticky feeling. To be honest, at first I assumed they were moisturisers but they're actually shower gels. When you put it on in the shower, it sinks into your skin and kind of feels like it's not properly washed off, once you get out, it's like you don't even need to moisturise because this has sunk so deep into your skin and made it softer. They're designed to comfort, cool and soothe skin frazzled by the Summer heat so I'm excited to put these in the fridge (as advised) and then put them all over my body after sun bathing this Summer!

Cocoa Brown Tan - Seriously, I'm hooked. I went to an event in London last week and I was introduced to the founder of Cocoa Brown tan, Marissa Carter, she is such an inspirational woman and her tan is seriously just as good as she says it is. As most of you will know, I am a huge fake tan fan, I always have been. As I've got older, I've wanted my tan to be fool-proof and so natural, this is why cocoa brown is so good for me. My skin looks so dark and smooth, the best it's ever looked, it looks natural, it's a gorgeous olive colour but it's lovely and intense and it doesn't flake off after a few days. After a week the colour has faded but it's nicely faded, rather than shedding off and I am still brown. The best thing? This is only £7.00ish which undercuts all over fake tans on the market! I need a life time supply of this stuff.

Vichy Derma-blend Concealer - As most of you will know, I love Vichy Dermablend, when I got the chance to try out their concealer this month I was so excited, the concealer is just as good as their foundation and covers up everything so easily leaving me with a flawless finish, it isn't too thick and it doesn't feel heavy either. Dermablend is back and I love it just as much as I first did.

Radical Skincare Hydrating Cleanser - I've had this for over a year but have only just got back into using it (and annoyingly it's practically ran out now) it's brought my skin back to life and made it look so much more fresher and more hydrated. Radical is a phenomenal brand, give them a quick Google and you'll see just how much work goes into their amazing products, you cannot go wrong with Radical skincare.

Instagram - Okay so can I say Instagram? I love Instagram and to be honest, I've only just really recently got my teeth into it. I follow so many amazing and beautiful women, I get so much fashion inspiration from there and then I bore everyone with photos of food and new outfits but I like to add a bit of a wild card onto my favourites list every month and this month, Instagram is just my favourite thing ever. My coursework at University at the moment is actually really exciting, I'm doing a report on the usage of Instagram and I've found some really good articles about Instagram including this one here. I am finding it quite exciting this month looking into the crazy world of Instagram so do let me know if you have an account in the comments below! I'm emshelx on Instagram!

Clothes! - I am loving ShopBop and actually doing some work with them recently so at the end of a few of my posts you'll see some of my favourite things... like below, this months favourites... it's all about the sunglasses. Oopsy.

What are you loving? Do you have any April favourites? Do you like anything I've mentioned or do you think you fancy buying any of it?

Lots of love, Em x
