Ah another month another make up bag post. I say this every month, but I do absolutely adore the contents of this months make up bag. I've been loving a light Spring look this month and I can't wait to share it with you...
This months make up bag is from Whistles, it's actually a clutch bag but I love using it as a make up bag - it's so pretty and neat.
Benefit Hoola: First up, I've been using the amazing Hoola bronzer by Benefit this month. Notice that it's personalised with my name?! How exciting! Benefit launched their #howdoyouhoola campaign this month and I was lucky enough to receive one of their amazing personalised Hoolas. I love Hoola because it's so soft and such a perfect, olive colour - it doesn't go grey on my cheeks! It's £23.50 from FeelUnique and it's well worth it because it really lasts. It's been the UK's best selling bronzer for the past 5 years so it must be good! It's got my seal of approval anyway!
ThisWorks In Transit Camera Close Up Primer - This is an oldie, a product I've had for ages but I've just recently started using it again and I'm so happy I have. I forgot how gorgeous this product is. It makes my make up stay on all day, it makes it look so flawless and it moisturises my skin too. This is a serious miracle primer plus it's nice and light for warm days. You can read my full review of the primer here.
Vichy Dermablend Foundation - Ah it's back in my life, with a new formula! Vichy has long been one of my favourite brands, you'll have seen my raving about their Dermablend foundation a number of times (full review here) but the new formula is just as good. This month I've actually been switching between my Bourjois CC cream on good skin days and my Vichy Dermablend on not so good days. Vichy feels light but gives great coverage, it's designed for skin with acne, even though I don't have acne, I swear by it because I use the tiniest bit and it's kind to my skin.
Benefit They're Real Mascara - Another one from Benefit but this is so fabulous. At their recent launch event I was kindly given some of their They're Real mascara to take home with me and I am so happy that it's back in my life. There's a reason why it's a best seller, it makes my eye lashes so long and curly and separated yet at the same time it makes me look like I have so many of them. It's true love, I just wish it was a tiny bit darker but I'll have to start adding my They're Real liner to the mix now to get that look!
The Body Shop Blusher in Macaroon - This is just the most dreamy product ever. It completely wakens up my face, it's such a cheery gorgeous colour, I cannot live without it. I just need it in a bigger size now. It's like the most perfect Summer's day put into a blusher, it's vibrant, happy and fresh and it really has made a huge difference to my make up look. I need an endless supply of this. Seriously.
RMK Palette - I've been using this palette by RMK (Selfridges) to just waken up and brighten up the inside of my eyes, I use the gold and then a tiny bit of the pink if I'm feeling daring. The colours are really soft and easy to wear, perfect for Spring. The perfect spring shades!
This months make up bag is unintentionally Spring themed but I guess that's just because it's been nice and hot so I've been wearing all of my happy, fresh, Spring make up products!
and now, watch me apply it all in my new video... please subscribe to my channel (emshelx) as I'm new to YouTube and would love your support!
What's in your make up bag this month? Do you like the look of any of these products? Have you tried any of them? Do you change your make up during Spring-time?
Lots of love, Em x

It's truly amazing! xx
DeleteIs the hoola bronzer really dark for pale skin or is it subtle?
ReplyDeleteI'd say it's subtle actually, I put hardly any on... I am quite dark skinned though but on pale days it's not too dark for me at all. My best friend is very pale and she loves it! x Hope that helps :) xx
DeleteI'm so jealous of your personalised Hoola!! I've heard so many good things about Vichy's Dermablend - I think that'll be my next foundation purchase :)
