On my recent bucket list post I explained that I wanted to travel lots this Summer so when the opportunity arose for me to hop on a plane to Greece, very last minute, I could hardly say no. This Summer is an odd one, I finished my second year of University mid-May but I have to do a compulsory placement throughout June which leaves me with not much time to get done what I want to get done this Summer (blog blog blog!), the end of May was the only time I could slip in a trip away before I become a full time worker (cries) so to Greece I went...
As soon as I arrived in Tigaki, I knew that it was pretty idyllic, there's nothing better than seeing the sun glistening on the bright blue sea.
In true me style, I immediately jumped into the pool, as did the rest of the clan...
Some rooms in the hotel did have their own 'swim-out' pools too...
I wore my new swimming costume C/O Motel, I am absolutely head over heels in love with it - I just wish I got it one size bigger because it makes my boobs look small because it's so tight!
My beach bag was brimming full of beauty goodies of course.
Michael Van Clarke 3 Inches Hair Comb | Charles Worthington UV Protection spray (you've got to protect your hair too!) | Murad Sun-Cream | Hawaiian Tropical Oil Spray | Carrot Oil Spray | Clarins Lip Perfector | Bumble and Bumble Mending Masque (I put this on my hair every day on holiday so that the heat from the sun makes it really intense) | Triangl Bikini | Primark Sandals (similar here and here) | Beach Bag (Primark) but I will get my hands on this one someday! | Invisibobble's so I don't have kinks in my hair | Ray-Bans C/O The Sunglasses Shop | More Sunglasses, Claire's | Headband, Claire's
Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day (you'll know this if you've read my healthy eating tips and tricks post) and whilst in Greece it consisted of lots of pumpkin seeds, poppy seeds, sunflower seeds, dried fruits, greek yogurt...
poached eggs and even champagne some mornings...
whilst evenings consisted of pina coladas...
and card tricks of course.
You can't go to Greece and not watch some Greek dancing (unfortunately no plates were smashed like they are on My Big Fat Greek Wedding).
After some ouzo and a few more pina coladas, the sun went down and it was time to sleep...
In May, Greece seems to be really sunny in the morning, so I made sure I was up at 7am to catch the rays.
This beach dress C/O Motel Rocks is my favourite thing ever. It's so cute and easy to wear.
I soon whipped it off though and jumped into my Triangl Bikini...
I felt like Elton John in these sunglasses but they've grown on me a lot now and I actually love them.
after some ice-cream it was time to head to the local town...
these boats weren't as big as the yacht in Vietnam but they were pretty cute.
Dress: C/O Missguided | Sandals: Primark | Kaftan: H&M - similar here.
We strolled through the town...
and found some incredible shops hidden away.
The town was so beautiful and I picked myself up some beauty treats from this amazing shop...
The flowers were pretty amazing too.
The next evening, I wore my favourite new dress, this beautiful dog-tooth off the shoulder number C/O MissGuided. I cannot explain how much love I have for it.
After some more cocktails at the hotel bar it was time to rest my head.
The next morning came quickly and finally my tan was developing.
I put on my mint green (my favourite colour) Triangl bikini this time.
I still love my hair colour (you can read about my hair transformation here).
A few lengths in the pool and a glass of champagne later, it was time to get ready for a dinner date...

Dress: C/O Motel Rocks
Sandals: C/O Emu Australia
Bag: C/O Aspiga
Rings: C/O Follie Foli | Watch: Daniel Wellington | Nails: MUA
For the next few days I sat by the pool, engrossed in my books and magazines.
Shorts: C/O MissGuided - £9.99, what a bargain - so comfy too!
I also did some posing by the pool.
Daisy print body: Primark | Shorts: Topshop | Sunglasses: Claires
and realised that this is my new favourite top ever.
C/O Missguided (here).
Can I have one in every colour please?
I loved it so much, that I paired it with a skirt too for a dinner evening. Versatile and gorgeous!
No make up, my apologies!
Skirt: Missguided | Shoes: H&M Old | Top: Missguided | Tan: Natural hooray!
After 7 days it was time to kiss goodbye to paradise and unfortunately, return to real life.
The hotel and beach was lovely...
Dress: C/O Boohoo | Bag: Zara
and I got through a fair few outfits...
and I'd highly recommend a visit to Kos town... pick up some olives, olive oil, natural sponges...
I wish I could have brought all the spices home with me (Tzatziki is amazing).
