Last week I headed to London for an exciting day of meetings and events, I thought I'd take my camera so that you can join in the fun with me! We're talking a pink girlie pub with Benefit, cocktails, scrumptious food and maybe a cheeky selfie with a certain someone...
We jumped in an Uber to Covent Garden (Uber Taxis are used in cities all around the world and are quick and easy, they haven't asked me to write this, I just swear by them and use them to get me everywhere as they're cheaper than standard taxis, if you download the Uber app and put in code: w8rm4 you'll get £10 off your first ride (thank me later!) I use them in Manchester and London but you can use them in Canada and America too which is brill! Once you go Uber, you'll never go back.
We headed up the pink stairs: 'laughter is the best cosmetic'
and we were soon inside Benefit's World Cup Pub, Gabbi's Head. I like to describe it as female heaven.
Benefit really think of everything don't they?!, and for the World Cup they have opened this beautiful girly haven to get you through the football, with a pink cocktail or three, make overs and brow treatments on tap (all for a great cause too).
The decor is fabulous...
the cocktails are truly impressive too.
First I got my eye brows shaped and tinted. Instead of paying Benefit, they just suggest a £5 donation to Refuge charity - a charity that is extremely close to my heart. It usually costs at least £18.00 to get this done at a Benefit counter so it felt like such a treat to have my brows done and give back to my favourite charity at the same time.
Watch a bit of sport...
and get your make up done. I felt like a princess after been pampered with my favourite products...
With new brows and new make up, it was time to relax with a cocktail...
Let's just say, Benefit certainly know how to compliment a girl.
It was soon time to say goodbye to Gabbi's Head and hello to my next stop. Lunch!
We headed to the Refinery 110 in Southwark for a lunch meeting...
I went for the Borough flatbread and I'm so glad I did. What a meal.
I soon put my camera down and got on with the meeting (exciting things to be announced soon!)

My skirt is actually from Ebay but you can find a similar version from ASOS here and here, and my top is an old one from All Saints here but similar here. I don't think you can go wrong with a cool, floaty maxi dress on a mild day running around London.
A glass of wine later...
Mark entered the building..
It was time to dash off and do a bit of last minute shopping inside St Pancras station...
Naturally I couldn't resist a cupcake from Lola's cupcakes... they're in the tube stations now which is very dangerous for a sweet-aholic like myself.
We said goodbye to London after a busy day meeting lots of exciting people, of course a spot of shopping and sight seeing and lots of exciting things to announce very shortly! I'll see you again in a few weeks London!
A massive thank you to Gala Bingo and Benefit for having me!
Shop my look:
What have you been up to lately? Do you like Mark Wright? Do you think the food looks good? Would you like to go to Gabbi's head for a cocktail?!
Lots of love, Em x
