It was a very good day when the Latest In Beauty, Glamour Beauty Edit box landed on my door step. I love beauty boxes, I always have done. I've long been a fan of Birchbox and then Latest in Beauty came into my life. Some beauty boxes are pretty dudd, but it's part of the fun, you don't know what you're getting, it's like a present to yourself every month. You may remember my review of Latest In Beauty's Spring Glamour Beauty Edit Box, the amazing products inside that box really took me by surprise, let's see if this one was as good...
I peeled away the little sticker...
and nearly squealed when I saw what was inside, as chosen by Alessandra Steinherr, beauty director at Glamour magazine and boy, does she know how to pack a good beauty box!
How on earth did all of this fit into such a tiny box? I felt like Mary Poppins, the items just kept coming out of the box.
Toni & Guy Volume Plumping Whip, 90ml: Within the box, you get a full sized Toni & Guy Volume Plumping Whip. This is something that I LOVE the sound of, but something I probably wouldn't have bought, that's why I love beauty boxes, you get random surprises inside them and fall in love with new items. I recently blogged about Toni & Guy's beachy range and quickly fell in love with that for tousled locks and ever since getting my hair done at Umberto Giannini, I've loved va-va-voom hair, this promises to give you a smooth, supersized look so it sounds perfect for me - I'll let you know once I've started using it!
Hawaiian Tropic Satin Protection Ultra Radiance Sun Lotion SPF 30, 100ml: I love Hawaiian Tropic, it's my favourite sun-cream brand so I was extremely excited to see a 100ml bottle of this in my box. This is worth around £6.99 and the box itself costs £16.95 so you've already nearly got your money back. Everything about Hawaiian Tropic is perfect, they actually had bottles and bottles of it to use (for free!) at my hotel in Jamaica, I was in my element! This really is the ultimate beach must have, serious protection, radiance and it's 100ml so it fits perfectly in your bag but still has lots of product inside it.
Rimmel Sun Shimmer Instant Tan BB Skin Perfector: At first glance, I thought this was a Rimmel instant tan for the body so I wasn't too excited, me and instant tans just do not get along. But, this is a BB tanner for your face, hooray! I love BB creams and I love getting a face tan! My body always gets nicely tanned on holiday and then after about 3 days my face goes back to its pale self so I do love face tanners to give me warmth and a nice glow. This one promises to leave skin feeling hydrated and smooth. It does wash off and I personally prefer more gradual face tans that stay on for a week so I don't have to wear much make up. I will give this a whirl and let you know if it finally makes me start to like instant tan. It's currently in the sale on ASOS for £3.00 here!
Crabtree & Evelyn Nail Lacquer: I didn't actually know that Crabtree & Evelyn did nail varnishes! I have bought some beautiful Christmas sets from them before but never looked at their nail varnish. This is a super gloss, non-toxic varnish which is apparently shock resistant (I'll let you know). You can't beat bright red either so I'm really happy with this colour. Often, in beauty boxes you expect to get rubbish colours - I found with Glossybox that I always got such dull, boring colours but this is a nice colour that I'll actually use! You can buy two of these for £6.00 on their site here at the moment which I think is absolutely incredible for such a high-end brand. I was especially excited to get some C&E inside this box.
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil: This is the one product from the box that I was a little bit unimpressed with, but that's only because I've already received this before in a few other beauty boxes. This costs £21.50 for a 200ml bottle and this is just a small one which makes it perfect for travelling. My Grandma absolutely loves this product and she's very careful about what she uses on her skin, so maybe I should start using it. Oils just scare me a little bit and I'm still hooked on the only oil product I use, my Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate oil.
Bourjois Little Cream Blush, 01: I was really excited to see a pretty little cream blush in the box. As you'll probably all know, I absolutely adore peachy colours so this one is absolutely perfect for me, it's the best Summer colour ever, so natural but fresh and again, they haven't included a rubbish colour in the box, it's a really good one. I also want to get to grips with cream blush so this should allow me to practice.
Magnifibres Brush-On False Lashes: I was SO excited when I saw this huge tube inside the box! This costs £18.50 by itself so you've already made your money back from the box! This says it will give you long lashes, without any fuss, or glue. Basically, you put on your mascara, then whilst it's still wet, you apply the fibres - they're kind of like white little cotton bits that stick to your lashes. Then, you apply another coat of mascara over the top. I've only used this once and personally, it didn't make my lashes look that much bigger, but, I think I'll try again and possibly do a full review of this product.
Illamasqua Glamore Lipstick: So I've saved the best until last. I couldn't believe it when I saw this in the box, I would have bought this anyway, it costs £18.50 by itself and the box only costs £16.95 so why wouldn't you buy this box?! Every girl needs a nice nude lipstick and I am so happy that Illamasqua have brought out seven shades in their new collection - it really is the ultimate lipstick. It's actually my first Illamasqua lipstick too so I'm very excited to put it to use! I've seen so many bloggers raving about this collection and now, I finally get to try one.
So there we have it, I am extremely impressed with this box, it's like buying one amazing product and getting 7 other things free (I forgot to mention that you get a tanning mitt in the box too!). This box is worth £86.15 and only costs £16.95 with free P&P! You can buy it from the Latest In Beauty site here. I really do feel like Latest In Beauty have completely upped the beauty box game and created the most incredible box, amazing high-end, luxury products at an amazing price. It's almost too good to be true!
Which is your favourite beauty box? Do you like beauty boxes? Do you like the look of the products inside here?

I got this box too and I was so impressed with it! I mainly got it for the Illamasqua lipstick and I actually received the colour I wanted, which made me really happy! I'm a massive fan of cleansing oils so obviously I was very excited about that and the red nail polish is so pretty and has so far lasted three days on me with minimal chipping! Best. Beauty. Box. Ever!
