Hello ah so it's that time again, time for a favourites post! Crazy or what. Time is flying so fast, I've been in Canada for a whole week already! I didn't intentionally only use pinky items this month but for some reason everything seems to be quite pretty and pink this month! I hope you enjoy my August favourites, I know I've really loved using these products this month...
Lancaster Tan Maximizer - Tan Prolonging Rich Firming Cream After-Sun - Ever since my trip to Jamaica I've been trying really hard to make sure my skin is always properly moisturised. Even though I haven't been in the sun for well over a month, I've really loved Lancaster's Tan Maximizer this month because it's designed for skin that's been in the sun so that means it'll be super hydrating and moisturising. Also, it's tan-prolonging which hopefully means I don't have to start applying fake tan just yet!
Elemis Frangipani Monoi Body Cream - This smells so delicious, it sinks into my skin so quickly and it comes in the largest tube - I love big, fancy tubes of body cream and this is one that I want in my life forever. If you want to feel like you've had a nice spa treatment at home, run the bath and then moisturise with this afterwards.
Nic's Picks Real Techniques Brushes - I recently blogged all about Real Techniques exciting new launch and I hope you've watched my interview with the Pixiwoo sisters (probably one of the coolest things I did this month!) If so, you'll know all about these gorgeous brushes. These are part of the Nic's Picks collection and will be out in October. All I can say is, wow. They make putting make up on so much easier, I use the one on the left for my powder and the one on the right for my bronzer (contouring) and blusher.
Kerastase Discipline Maskeratine - Kerastase has always been a favourite brand of mine. You may remember me discussing it in my hair growth tips post - the discipline range, kindly sent to me by Rush Shop (part of the RUSH hair salon group which offers the best hair and beauty brands on the market at competitive prices) is designed to create fluidity and shine, shield against humidity whilst also strengthening and nourishing the hair. This is an intense deep conditioning treatment, full of nourishment and shine. It provides in-depth damage repair and I absolutely love using products like this on my hair to keep it strong and healthy.
Benefit Dream Screen - I have seen so many people raving about this so naturally I had to try some. I am absolutely loving Benefit's Dream Screen, whilst it's a specialist facial sun-cream, I prefer to use it as a moisturising primer too. Protecting my face from the sun was never something I cared about before, I love having a face tan, but I'd rather fake a face tan and have no wrinkles so I think I'll keep using this. Usually I break out really bad when putting sun-cream on my face but this is designed specifically for the face so it shouldn't make you break out.
NIP+FAB Bee Sting Fix Eye - I'm quite big on under-eye products because I don't want to get big bags under my eyes when I'm older, also, I don't get enough sleep so I always have puffy eyes - for me, eye creams are super important. Nip+Fab is one of my favourite brands, I can't get enough of them and this is no different, another great product from them. This is a moisturising under-eye cream that contains bee venom to increase circulation, meaning plumper and brighter skin. I can't say that this has stopped me getting wrinkles but I can say that my under-eyes look less puffy and I've loved using it this month. Goodbye dark circles.
Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Balm in Robust Rhubarb - I absolutely love this so much, it's such a beautiful, easy to apply cheek colour and it looks so gorgeous on. It's so bright, fresh and pretty! Possibly my favourite new cheek colour ever! Plus the packaging and the name is super cute. You can watch me apply it on my new YouTube video!
What products are you loving this month? Have you tried any of these? Do you like the look of them?
Lots of love, Em x
