On arrival we checked out the cocktail list... we immediately both fell for the Terrace Cooler. Nothing beats a fruity cocktail.
We were surrounded by amazing pop-up cocktail stands...
I've never had a sour in my life and didn't actually even know what one was (and I call myself a foodie!) but I know I'll be drinking lots of them from now on. A 'Disaronno Sour' is the main cocktail at the event and it's made with Disaronno and lemon juice - simple but delicious, really smooth and easy to drink. The cocktails only cost £5.00 too which I think is pretty reasonable for a delicious cocktail in the middle of a busy city centre (I pay around £10 at the Alchemist for one!)
I guess you're wondering who I got the chance to catch up with? Here she is, my lovely friend Victoria from InTheFrow looking as beautiful as ever.
Please excuse my natural hair, I'm trying to make it grow so straightening is off the cards for the moment.
naturally this meant it was time for another cocktail...
This time we went for the Terrace Cooler; Disaronno, Cranberry Juice, Orange Juice & Strawberry Puree - super easy to make at home and so delicious - dangerously so because it just takes like a yummy fruit smoothie.
Not only delicious, but extremely Instagram (@emshelx) worthy too. We sipped and chatted a little longer over these delicious drinks and then decided it was time to head off home as it got a little bit chilly.
We kissed goodbye to the outdoor terrace, something I'll definitely be heading back to with my boyfriend!
I wore an all-white combo but as it got a little chilly I did have to put my trusty leather jacket on. I'm pleased to say that I still have a little bit of my Jamaica tan!
Sweater: H&M, identical from MissGuided here for £10! / Skirt: It's actually a dress from Primark but pretty much identical skirt from ASOS here for £20 or a shorter version for £16 here - If you're wanting to put the top/jumper over a dress like I did, MissGuided have a similar and gorgeous dress here for £19 / Bag: My favourite bag ever (you may have seen it featured on my trip to Paris post, it never leaves my side, online here. / Jacket: Old Zara, similar here.

Of course I made sure I was wearing my gorgeous Daniel Wellington Grace watch - you may remember it from my beachy post, I haven't taken it off since.
And my gorgeous, bargain Ebay pumps (similar here Missguided and here, Boohoo).
Above is the invite if you fancy heading down, it's on until the 20th August. I know I'll be making these cocktails at home this weekend! I hope they keep putting more events on, I'd like to see a Winter terrace from them! Massive thank you to Disaronno for having us - it was such a lovely night.
Do you like catching up over a cocktail? What's your favourite cocktail? Have you tried Disaronno?
Lots of love, Em x
