Wow, I haven't written an empties post for well over a year but here I am today with lots of empty items for you. I love reading other peoples 'empties' posts as it's great to see what products they've used up and to see what they'll be re-buying. I think the true test of how good a product is, is if you then go out and re-buy it. I can't wait to talk you through some of my empties...
Radical Cleanser - I've had this for about a year, you will have seen it feature on lots of skincare and favourites posts, in fact, I spoke about it on my skincare video on YouTube so you can probably already tell that this product is a firm favourite. I am so upset that this has finally run out on me, it's lasted me well over a year. As much as I love the cidal soap that I use (there's no beating a £1 bar of soap that beats spots), I like to add something with it to keep my skin from getting too dry and to keep it hydrated . To be honest, Radical is one of the only brands that I trust not to make me break out because everything is natural and kind to my skin. It just gives me such a lovely glow, even if I just add this to my routine twice a week. I need this back in my life urgently. You can buy Radical online here.
Bumble and Bumble Mending Masque - You can see that I've quite literally squeezed every last bit out of this tube. You may remember this featuring on my best products for hair growth post and rightly so, this is for 'truly' damaged hair which mine was. I used to just sit with this on for an hour or so and my hair felt so repaired and back to life after using it. I wish the tube was bigger! The best price for this is on the Bumble website here (worth every penny!)
Argan 5+ Body Gel - I have absolutely loved using this in the shower recently, it made my skin feel so soft and silky and I felt like I was really treating my skin. I use Argan oil on my hair but really didn't know that you could use it in the shower too. This actually featured on my July Favourites post. Its not something I'd necessarily go out of my way to re-buy but it's something I'd grab if I needed a new shower gel and happened to see this in the supermarket.
SuperFoodLx Hair Masque - I'm really sad that this has run out, you may remember it from my July favourites video and blog post and it's really one of my favourite hair masks. As most of you will know, I am big into my hair care and I love keeping strong treatments on for ages, this one is super intense for damaged, dehydrated and coloured hair, I leave it on for 90 minutes (my hair dresser always said the sign of a good hair treatment is one that needs to be left on for ages as it means it's stronger). I then leave my hair to dry naturally and I get a gorgeous, softness like never before plus it makes my natural curls fall really nicely.
Nip+Fab Circulation Body Scrub - Oh gosh, where do I even start with this product. I featured this on my beach body tips post because I truly believe that this product helps you get beach ready. I love using exfoliators in the shower but this one is designed to get rid of cellulite and tone you up. I personally don't believe that lotions and potions tone you up fully, they certainly help though but do regular exercise and use this, and you'll have legs to die for! The fact that you can buy it on ASOS makes this even more amazing too, clothes shopping and Nip+Fab?
Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Oil - I wasn't lying when I said I adore Kiehl's. Most of you will know that I swear by this product and have done for years, this is probably my 5th bottle?! You can read a full review here. If you want to repair your skin over-night, this is for you. It's kind to your skin too so no break outs!
Xen-Tan - As most of you know, I have always been a Xen-Tan lover but I just haven't re-bought any for ages because I came across He-Shi which I absolutely love, I've been pretty hooked on that recently. I think in Winter I'll have to go back to my trusty Xen-Tan and see if I fall back in love with it - I'm sure I will, you can't beat the perfect olive colour. Xen-Tan dark lotion is my favourite of all time.
Kiehl's Creme De Corps Whipped Body Butter - As much as I adore The Body Shop body butters, once in a while, it's nice to stray and I have to say, this is basically like a tub of heaven. It smells absolutely incredible (honey yum) and everyone says how good I smell when I've put this on in the morning. Honestly, go into your nearest Kiehl's and take a whiff of this and you'll be converted. It's expensive but I just wish I could have a room full of this stuff. I miss lathering this all over my body, it really does make you good enough to eat.
Elemis Frangipani Monoi Body Butter - Another body butter but I seem to go through so many of them! I absolutely adore this, everything about it; the smell, the texture, the way it makes my skin feel and the way it sinks straight in without being oily. This is just an amazing product from Elemis and one that I'd most definitely re-buy. It feels as if it's going to be oily and take ages to sink in but quite the opposite. I love Elemis because the packaging is always so big so you get lots for your money and always feel like you're having a spa break at home - I know I do anyway. Thank you to Elemis for sending me this to try, it's truly amazing.
Kiehl's Superbly Smoothing Argan Shampoo - Ooo another one from Kiehl's but it's a brand that I fell in love with this year (sorry!) If you read my best products for hair growth post you'll know just how much I love this, it's full of amazing ingredients that strengthen and fix damaged and dull hair. I would certainly re-buy this with the conditioner too.
Which products will you be re-buying? Is there anything that really stands out to you? Have you used any of the products above?
Lots of love, Em x
