The past week has been incredible and whilst even Kodak can't capture some memories, I did want to take my camera out into the snow and share some of Canada's beauty with you... (currently back in England and wondering how I managed to leave). The past week was a stark contrast from my first Canada blog post when I was on a beach, in 30 degree heat and whilst I think I'm probably a beach babe at heart, I don't think you can beat crisp, white snow...
We started to walk up to the top of Mount Royal...
A hot chocolate in a Starbucks red cup was more than necessary and stuck with me throughout the journey...
I took my LVNDR rings out for a swing
and my mittens too
I decided it was time to play in the snow
and then took a minute to just appreciate the scenery.
We continued to walk up the mountain
and then a reindeer was spotted...
The walk continued...
and half-way up, it was time for a rest - Ugg boots are warm but not nearly warm enough in -17
I need to learn to become more of a hat girl but for the time being, I love my wool headband.
and then glanced at the city
Montreal is beautiful, rain and shine, Summer and Winter.
Even Rudolph agrees.
We continued to sip our hot chocolates
and then had a gentle walk back down into the city
We stumbled across some snowboarding in the middle of the main shopping street - only in Canada!
and then grabbed a pizza (probably the best pizza I've ever had...)
Outfit: Skirt similar here, Jumper: similar here, Headband: here, Ugg Boots: here. Rings: here
So there we have it, Montreal, I love you and don't worry, I'll be back. Do you love Christmas time too? Do you love the snow? Do you also love this thick chunky jumper?
A huge thank you to my beautiful friend Emilie Macfie for shooting this with me.

Lots of love, Em x
