Hello hello hello! A very exciting chat today; we're talking about Benefit's new 'Puff Off' eye gel! Lots of you seemed intrigued about this on Twitter/Instagram so I figured I better review it sooner rather than later! A new launch from Benefit really is a good way to brighten my day and I just know you're going to love this... Benefit ALWAYS get it oh-so right when it comes to new launches so let's discuss!
The idea? Iron this under your eyes and get rid of under-eye puffiness and creases. Smooth out those fine lines and say goodbye to tired looking eyes (I needed this product in my life!).
The packaging? Truly beautiful and actually a little bit more grown up from Benefit this time around - I am a fan of pretty, light pinks. The tube is so light-weight and easy to throw in your bag. I very much approve of how stunning this product is.
I am in love with the beautiful yet simple packaging (such a sucker for pretty things!)
Let's talk about the fact that this isn't an ordinary eye gel when you take off the lid...
It's shaped with a custom ironing tip! My Grandma was slightly alarmed when she saw it and didn't know if it was for the skin or for your clothes!
In true Benefit style, they have done something which has made them stand out... I was quite shocked at first and scared that it would nab my skin, but not at all - the end of Benefit's Puff Off eye gel 'the iron' literally glides onto the skin, softens it, soothes it and leaves your under eyes feeling cool and pampered.
But does it work? To be honest, I find eye cream reviews really difficult to write - as much as I love eye gels, you don't really get instant results from them - it's something which usually you'll see way later down the line but this is a product which is designed to give you instant results and I've got to agree, my eyes feel less puffy, happier, brighter and smoother. I actually find my make up glides on a lot smoother with this too.
This can be applied in the morning, throughout the day (I just applied it now and I feel so relaxed and amazing - my eyes feel much happier already) but I have also been applying it in the evening too.
The texture is smooth, I wouldn't say gel like, it's more of a silky cream which feels truly delicious on the under-eye and it doesn't feel heavy at all.
I am so happy that Benefit now have an instant eye gel on the scene - I love using eye creams but it's lovely to see something for the under- eyes with a instant effect! At £22.50, with such amazing packaging and details, I really don't think the price is too bad - Benefit is a mid-range brand and you do get what you pay for, a fabulous, beautiful product. You can buy it online here now!
Do you like eye gels/creams? Do you like Benefit? How do you feel about this?
Lots of love, Em x
