Laura Geller Baked Blush N Brighten & Spackle Primer Review

Laura Geller beauty review
Hello lovelies so this year I will hopefully be introducing you to lots of new exciting ranges and brands. As much as I adore the standard, usual brands (you just can't beat trusty oldies!), it's so nice to discover new brands - my first look at Topshop's beauty range post went down really well so I was really excited to get a few of my favourite bits from new brand Laura Geller together and talk to you about them... trust me, they're amazing.
uk beauty blogIt was the lovely ladies at FeelUnique who introduced me to Laura Geller - a brand which landed not so long ago on the site. Laura Geller is famous for her primer and if you read my blog a lot, you'll know just how much I adore and appreciate a good primer so I was excited to put this one to the test!

First up is the beautiful Baked Blush n Brighten, a beautiful, mineral looking blush in Pink Grapefruit. It comes in so many amazing colours - I want the whole collection!

I love the blush because it's like a highlighter and blush in one, you get the lovely sheen of a highlighter but a lovely deep blush colour, I think this brings my face alive.

I love how girlie this product is. Something which makes this product really special is the fact that it's baked for 24 hours on terracotta tiles then hand finished in Italy! What a dream. It's a really sturdy blush too, that sounds weird but I'm so used to smashing my blushes and I feel like this one might actually last a day in my handbag! You can buy it online here for £22.

Next up is the Spackle Tinted Make Up Primer in Champagne - firstly, I feel like the colour is perfect for me. You may remember me saying on my Canada and New York haul video that I bought the wrong Nars illuminator - it was way too light for me and probably designed for more pale skin tones but with this, I like that it has nice hints of gold in it, so I feel like it compliments my skin tone perfectly. This primer is so beautiful, it totally illuminates my face - It's hard to explain what it feels like on my skin, it doesn't make it shiny, it doesn't make it glittery, it just brightens it, makes it look fresh and makes it feel hydrated. The formula has a kind of a thick gel feel to it.

I think in Summer when I've got a natural tan I will wear this by it's self rather than under foundation, to give me a beautiful, natural looking glow. I appreciate the natural plant extracts and antioxidants in this, I hate coating my face in awful perfumed rubbish. I'd say this primer is well worth a try, it makes your make up look flawless, adds a gorgeous glow and just makes you feel fresh and awake. It's available online here for £24.

You can check out the rest of the Laura Geller range online here, I've got my eyes on the complexion range next which just looks amazing!

Have you heard of Laura Geller? Do you like primers too? Do you like the look of this range?

Lots of love, Em x
