I don't think the title of this blog post could be more appropriate if I tried; last week I was invited to the launch of an exciting new shoe brand and trust me, I am excited to talk to you about these beauties, I feel like they were designed for me, someone who runs around all the time but still wants to look good! I don't treat my feet enough when they carry me everywhere! When someone mentions fold up shoes, I switch off and honestly, don't think they'll be nice but finally, someone has put some love and care into foldable shoes and created ridiculously gorgeous styles for girls on the go! I love shoes, always have, always will - you can never have too many pairs so when I found out that these are much more than the average shoe, I got a little bit excited...
I was talked through the collection (with a delicious fresh orange juice in one hand) and I was so impressed - they just look like normal dolly shoes - normally I find with fold up shoes you can see the bend/fold but you can't even tell that these fold!
The metallic collection are 100% some of my favourites
I also absolutely adore the thick metallic bow on these ones - it makes such a beautiful difference from the standard bow.
I love these ones because they go right around your ankle too - perfect for Summer - who said flats had to be boring?
We also nibbled away on some beautiful breakfast bits = happy Em!
We learnt more about the brand and this was probably my favourite part of the event, to be able to meet one of the founders and hear his story - I loved his entrepreneurial spirit and honesty.
I spent the rest of my morning checking out more of the beautiful shoes - the styles are all amazing - it's so hard to choose a favourite - they're all so well made too.
They gently fold so you can just throw them into your bag, whether that's for your daily commute or on a night out. I know mine have been in my bag at all times since I got them!
The inner sole is completely cushioned too making them extremely comfortable.
The lovely AJ Odudu took some photos of me browsing the shoes. I wore my Burberry scarf and Lipsy Mac with my mint Models Own nail varnish (personal favourite!)
After the event, I popped into Soho for a quick lunch with the beautiful Danielle Peazer - I do love London - it means I get to catch up with so many lovely ladies!
You can buy Butterfly Twists online here and trust me, they're so amazing! I had a crazy few days in London and don't worry, I'll be blogging about my whole trip so do keep an eye out for that!
*This is sponsored by Butterfly Twists but as always, it is 100% my honest opinion and I genuinely adore these lovely shoes.
How do you feel about fold up shoes? Have you heard of Butterfly Twists? Do you like the look of these?
Lots of love, Em x
