Good afternoon! These beautiful bright mornings (thank you England!) have inspired me to write some Spring themed posts. I wanted to talk to you about some gorgeous Spring products today because everyone needs a little brightness in their life! For me Spring and anything associated with it makes me feel so positive! I think this is going to be the first of many Spring round ups, simply because there are way too many gorgeous products around at the moment. I haven't posted about beauty on my blog for a week which is ridiculously unlike me so I feel like we have a lot of catching up to do!
Invisibobbles; I fell in love with the colour of these instantly and just knew they screamed Spring. If you don't know about Invisibobbles, they don't snag the hair or leave kinks. I personally think they leave a few curls but I don't mind because my hair is a massive afro and I deliberately tie it up so that it goes even more curly. For me, Spring is all about long, luscious thick hair and using good products like these to prevent breakage should help us get there! I've got an updated hair growth post coming up very soon as my hair has finally really started to grow so keep an eye out for that! You can buy Invisibobbles online here.
DiorSkin Nude BB Creme; I bought this with a FeelUnique gift voucher recently as a treat to myself because I have wanted this for months. Every single time I go to the airport I try this! I absolutely love BB creams for Summer, they give my skin a chance to breathe yet my face still looks radiant and happy. If you're having a good skin day, BB creams really do give a flawless finish. I've actually been using new ones from Liz Earle and Burberry this week and trust me, they are insanely good so I think I may do an updated best BB creams post too. As soon as the sun comes out, I just want to be wearing BB creams! I actually bought this BB Cream after seeing lots of my favourite YouTubers wear it and also because I fell in love with Dior Forever Foundation - you cannot go wrong with Dior products, pricey, but amazing. You can get this online here.
Bourjois Colorband Eyeshadow & Liner; Bourjois always bring out the most amazing products and these are no different. When these landed in my post box I was seriously excited. These are two-none eyeshadow crayons which hold for 24 hours. As much as the dark colours are nice, I absolutely adore the brighter, fresher colours and the nice sheen they have. I've actually been using the pink one on my lips too as it's such a nice Summer shade haha. They blend so nicely and they're waterproof too! Get me on that beach! These are £5 each and you can buy them here (beige minimalist is my favourite ever!).
Real Techniques Bold Metals Brushes; Now I haven't actually had the chance to try these yet (oops sorry!) but I've included them in this post because they are just so beautiful for Spring. I think these will brighten up anyones Spring make up collection or beauty space! You can read more about my night at the Bold Metals launch party here.
Spring Nail Varnishes; At the moment, my favourite brands for Spring nail varnishes have to be RMK, you all know how much I adore nude nails, I did a round up of the best nude nail varnishes quite some time ago and if I was to rewrite that post, this would definitely feature. I've always been a fan of RMK nail polishes. But when it comes to bright colours, Models Own are absolutely smashing it at the moment with their insanely gorgeous new colours - I am forever Instagramming them (@emshelx) - I will hopefully do a review of all their amazing new nail varnishes soon as the colours are too amazing to ignore. Next on my hit list is their gorgeous pale yellow varnish - I am such a sucker for anything yellow and pastel coloured!
RMK Spring Collection; You may remember my blog post about afternoon tea at the Sanderson in London with RMK - be sure to catch up on that one as it was Mad Hatter themed and truly amazing!!! I promised to talk to you a little bit more about the beautiful RMK Spring Collection and here are a few more bits. This adorable Japanese brand just make the most beautiful products and their highlighter and cheek colour are no acceptation - even just to look at they are truly stunning. Their 'Candy Cheeks' blush is oh-so cute and perfect for travel too because it's small enough and light enough to fit in any bag - it gives such a beautiful glow and colour. Their 'Vintage Sweets Face Colour' can be put all over the face for extra luminosity too, another perfect Spring colour. Personally, I think these are way too gorgeous to touch and they will be taking pride of place in my bathroom until I dare break into them anymore!
KIKO Cool Touch Eye Shadow; Kiko's new Cool Touch Eye Shadow has also made it onto my Spring make up picks list. The colours are so vivid and amazing - this photo really does the shadows no justice. I think I will start to experiment more with my eye shadows this Spring, this has really got me in the mood!
So there we have it, some of my top picks this Spring so far - I have so many other amazing Spring products to talk to you about - oh it feels good to be writing about beauty again, I leave it for a few days and then miss it so much. Have you come across any gorgeous Spring products? Do you like any of the above?
Lots of love, Em x
