I recently had a spare few hours in London (when does that ever happen?! Never!) so I met up with the incredible photographer Oscar May for a little stroll around London and obviously, we took some photos along the way (of course we did). If you read my Topshop Personal Shopping experience post you'll have already had a little look at some of these items, but, I've wanted to share this outfit with you for quite some time as I haven't taken these wardrobe staples off! Nothing beats versatile wardrobe staples, you can dress these pieces up and down and that's why I love them so much. Let's have a quick look around London and I'll show you some of my fave new wardrobe pieces whilst we're at it! Grab your sunglasses...
I love London streets, so beautiful. They're all so different - you can find clean, white Chelsea streets, dark cobbled streets, quirky busy streets or greenery everywhere. I just love London, it's diverse but it's also brilliantly British. Yes, I am patriotic. I have done so much travelling recently but honestly, nothing beats London. It's bursting with life. It's nice to actually have a little bit of time to walk around London rather than running around with my head down trying to get from place to place.
I wore my Topshop cropped top, with my favourite black leather boots ever (absolute wardrobe staple, those boots that just go with absolutely everything) and I also felt like I deserved a new leather jacket recently so finally got myself my dream premium Topshop one (online here) - worth every penny though as leather jackets get better with age and use. If you read about my time presenting at the petal drop event, you'll remember this white skirt too - I absolutely adore it more than anything.
Topshop are killing it at the moment with their a-line skirts - I already own this skirt in 4 colours because I am so obsessed, they go with everything and look great casual or dressed up. You can shop some of my faves below.
I also had my favourite Topshop lip liner (shade disco) on. It's natural and subtle but it makes my lips look fuller which I love. I am so obsessed with Topshop lip liners.
British weather is very indecisive, so I soon had to take my jacket off and my boots. Time for some Summer vibes. We walked along Tower Bridge, one of my favourite areas in London.
Oh London - you beauty. I need to spend more time properly exploring you! A big thanks to Oscar May for a lovely afternoon - do check him out if you're looking for an amazing photographer (he also does some amazing wedding photography too) you can check out his site here - his stuff is seriously impressive!
Do you like London? Do you visit often? Do you have your favourite wardrobe staples? Do you like these pieces?
