Top Beauty Products For An All Over Glow; My Favourite Summer Glow Products

beauty products to make you glow

Hello hello! Oh I do love a beauty round up and I am far too excited to be writing this one today. If you've been reading my blog for a while you'll know that I am all about feeling naturally bronzed, radiant and generally glowing - I don't just mean my body but my face too. I just feel more confident when I'm all smooth, glowy and radiant. I blame Kim Kardashian. Don't judge me but she seriously has her glow/make up on point. I've been using loads of products recently to get nice glowing legs and a nice highlighted complexion and I feel bad for not sharing them with you so here I am today making up for that. I've featured some of these items here and there and tweeted about a few of them too but I wanted to do a proper round up of my favourite things to get an all over glow. Let's go!
Sanctuary Spa body polish

Scrub - My first top tip when it comes to getting a nice glow is exfoliating, polish your body! There are so many incredible body polishes on the market, I am so excited about some new Jo Malone ones which are coming out in September but for now, I always think Sanctuary Spa and The Body Shop are the best when it comes to body polishes/exfoliators because they always smell great but they're usually packed with nice natural ingredients too. Winner.

roger and gallet nourishing body oil
Oil - Don't panic at the word oil, this doesn't make you greasy or slimey - it makes your skin glow, promise. I would have to say this is my number 1 product at the moment - I absolutely adore the way it makes my skin look and feel (you can use it on your hair too). Roger & Gallet's Ultra Nourishing body oil is full of essential fruit oils and trust me, it just makes your skin look amazing and then it eventually sinks in so you're not left feeling oily. I love love the way this makes my skin look. There's currently 50% off FeelUnique (which stocks Roger & Gallet) on VouchaCodes.co.uk too at the moment!

colbert MD illumine body oil

Another body oil which I cannot get enough of, (you may have seen me tweeting about this) is Colbert MD's Illumino Body Oil - it is just the absolute ream - I was sold when I was told that the Victoria's Secret models use this on their bodies before going on stage! It really does just make your skin look so illuminated and amazing. This is an expensive product but the science/ingredients behind it are amazing, we're talking things to improve the skins suppleness and elasticity, things to help the skins overall tone and texture and more. If I could only use one oil for the rest of my life it would be this.

palmers cocoa butter

Moisturise - I've been moisturising my body daily (sometimes twice daily) and whilst I usually always swear by The Body Shop body butters, I was in the airport on the way to Mallorca and my legs felt dry so I randomly picked up Palmer's Cocoa Butter - purely because it was on offer. Also, I've always loved Palmers but never used this specific one before. It's safe to say this is amazing - it's like a balm that kind of melts into your skin and gives it the most amazing glow/hydration! I am so sad that this has run out now. I need a lifetime supply.

James Read Express Bronzing Mousse
Tan - I feel fortunate that my natural tan has lasted me this long but if you are wanting to reach for the fake tan, James Read is a brand I have always always wanted to try. I have been using his daily face tan recently and I am so so impressed.

St Tropez gradual tan

Face Tan - Speaking of face tans, you may remember me saying on my St Tropez In Shower Gradual Tan review post just how much more confident I feel when I've got a face tan - my make up feels nicer and I just seem to get a really nice glow under it too. I have been loving St Tropez Every Day Face Lotion recently for a really nice natural tan. I do think this is a little light though so I'd go for medium/dark next time!

Face Glow Without The Tan - I know some people really don't like face tans for various reasons so if you're just wanting a natural face glow from cleansing products, I've been absolutely loving firstly, Elemis Cleansing Balm recently which is just so hydrating and kind to the skin. I've mentioned it a few times and trust me, it's my saviour. Secondly, Vichy - you'll all know by now that Vichy Dermablend is my no.1 go to foundation but pair it with their beautifying cleansing micellar oil for some serious skin glowing action.

Christopher Kane Violet Atom Illuminating Multiple
Beauty Glow - Ahhhh this incredible highlighter is all you need for a serious glow, in the most beautiful colour I've ever seen. This is the Christopher Kane Violet Atom Illuminating Multiple, you can use it on the eyes, lips and body and it is just an absolute essential for a stunning glow, everywhere and anywhere. I can't get enough of the magical colour.

bare minerals complexion rescue tinted hydrating gel cream
Face - I always feel like I have more of a natural, happy glow when wearing a tinted moisturiser or a BB cream. There are two tinted moisturisers which I am absolutely loving at the moment for a Summer glow. Firstly BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream which is light, natural and amazing but gives a lovely coverage - I am shocked at how great the coverage is really whilst still being kind to the skin and still looking great. Secondly, Liz Earle's Sheer Skin Tint (of course - one of my all time favourite brands). It gives the most amazing coverage for a tint yet it's natural and breathable. This also makes the nicest primer too. You're left with happy glowing skin and you don't even need to feel guilty about it.

Glow Domes - These are amazing inventions, easy little glow domes that you can throw in your bag and then use to highlight anywhere really. You may remember me doing a review of the Topshop Glow Dome on my Topshop beauty review post recently but oh my gosh the colour is just heavenly. I personally put this on my cheek bones to just brighten up my whole face with the nicest colour. The Honey Bronze Glow Dome from The Body Shop is a completely different colour (see below for swatches) but still completely stunning for Summer.

becca beach tint
This cute little beach tint highlighter/bronzing soufflé by Becca is a dream in a little tub. It does what it says in the tin, it gives you a gorgeous beachy, sun kissed finish on the cheeks and was exactly what I needed to perk myself up this Summer actually haha. I love love love the colour of this so much.

benefit hoola

Last but certainly not least, if you want all your bronzing done in one simple kit, this is for you. Benefit's new Beyond Bronze Kit is rammed full of bronzing essentials and seriously, what more could a girl want? I know I'll be packing this little tool box away with me everywhere this Summer.  This whole kit is only £28 which is only £5 more than buying the Hoola bronzer by itself! It's a win win.

What are your favourite products for a Summer glow? Have you used any of these products? Do you like the look of any of them?

Lots of love, Em x
