Olay's New 2in1 Range Review

Hello hello! I haven't really spoken about my latest skin care routine for quite some time but I thought I'd touch on some new exciting products I’ve been trying out. We're about to hit that time of year where our skin changes along with the weather. My skin hates going from warm weather to cold weather and as today is the first day of Autumn, we should probably be looking at what we're putting on our skin to keep it hydrated...

I am a lover of BB creams on good skin days because they don't make me break out. They seem to be kinder to my skin so I was really really excited to try Olay's new 2in1 Range which was kindly sent to me by Olay.

I haven't used Olay for years but it's a brand I definitely trust. I always find that it’s much better to use skincare make up rather than actual make up as it seems to feel better for my skin. This new range of products was pretty much made for me because it's all about hydration (goodbye dull Winter skin), radiance and giving you a flawless finish. Basically everything I look for in a product.

Face Base - Let's start with my favourite product from the range, the Hydration + Flawless Blur 2 in 1 Base/Moisturiser. I am a sucker for face bases as I think a good face base is really important step in your routine. I only realised how important primers are when I stopped using them. If you find a good one, they really do make your make up look flawless and stay on for longer too. I also like them because they create a barrier between my skin and the foundation I'm about to put on. I have been using this every morning as my primer/moisturiser and my skin has thanked me for it. I love anything that says it will 'blur' my skin as those kinds of products usually work really well for my skin type. As soon as I put this on my skin I feel like it is instantly moisturised. This product sinks in really nicely and my skin just feels so clean and happy with it on. I don't feel guilty putting this on because it's formulated to not clog the pores and it has vitamins in it too, so it feels like it fixes your skin whilst you're wearing it. Even though this is actually meant to be a moisturiser, I 100% think this works as a great primer too (I guess that's why it's a 2 in 1). I was shocked to see this is only £9.99 - I pay so much for my primers alone and this does both!

Kind Products - Next up, even though BB creams are usually seen as more summery products I have been loving using this this Autumn. I love BB creams because I feel like they allow my skin to breath more than foundation. The coverage is actually really nice (I'd say it can be built to a medium coverage) and it isn't greasy at all. I usually find BB creams to be way too greasy when they have moisturiser in but this sinks into my skin really nicely and like all of this range, it feels like it's fixing my skin. Shade medium is perfect for my skin tone but this does also come in a lighter shade. I am a sucker for a good BB cream and can't wait to keep using this one. I'm 100% going to try and replace my foundation with this on good skin days to give my skin the chance to have some time off. 

Get The Glow - Last but not least, Olay's Hydration + Radiant Glow Moisturiser is another great product. If you read my blog a lot you'll have probably guessed that I'd love this because it says it'll give you a glow, oh I do love a glowy product. I personally prefer the flawless moisturiser as it means I can skip using a primer and use it as a 2 in 1 but I know this is going to be amazing to banish dull skin in the winter. I’ll probably also use this as my night-time moisturiser so I can wake up looking flawless. I did actually put this just on just my cheeks when doing my make up the other day because it gives off a glow and actually doubles up as a nice highlighter. This moisturiser is full of skin pampering vitamins to help strengthen the skin and give a perfect texture. 

I love how this range really works by pampering the skin and improving the texture whilst giving a nice smooth finish. I think it's really important to use products that help keep your skin healthy and looking great at the same time.
