Ah hello hello! As we speak, I am in the Maldives! Keep up to date via my social channels, you'll find me as emshelx on all of them or you can watch my first Maldives vlog here! The Maldives is a place I have wanted to visit for as long as I can remember. I know I do a lot of 'travel essential' posts, but there are so many epic travel products so today, I wanted to show you exactly what's in my suitcase beauty-wise for my trip this time around because hey, September sun never hurt anyone! These products are majorly brilliant, many of them multi-tasking and actually, you might want to just use them at home! I can't wait to talk to you about my top beauty essentials to take abroad!
Tucked away in this beautiful Clarins bag are some absolutely beautiful products. You could say I'm pretty excited! For me, one of the best things about going away is getting to take new products to try! I'm a sucker for good beauty products, particularly when I'm abroad as it gives me more time to pamper too!
Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive Skin Protection Sun Cream - First and foremost, suncream! Garnier are a hero brand and one I trust when it comes to skincare, I'm really trying to take my suncare more seriously as I do spend a lot of time in the sun. Garnier's new range is made for sensitive skin but has advanced UV + Infared technology in it. My favourite thing about this is that it contains vitamin e so it makes me feel soft as the sun usually dries my skin out. I personally love the mist spray as it's so easy to apply!
Elizabeth Arden Bronzer - How couldn't I take this bronzer? Perfect to make me feel super glowy and radiant throughout the trip. This is actually the first time I've ever used Elizabeth Arden make up (where have I been my whole life?!) but honestly, it's beautiful and I'll never look back now! Online here.
Wild Rose Beauty Balm by Neals Yard - Another brand I've recently started using, the incredible, Neals Yard. How didn't I use them before now? I've always loved the brand but have never really owned or used many of their products. Beautifully made and made using natural ingredients too. This balm can be used on the hair, skin or face so it really is the perfect multitasked if you're going anywhere! Online here.
Phytoplage Protective Spray - I love Phytoplage for protecting hair products, particularly in the sunshine! I always protect my hair when I'm in the sun and this is one of the best products for this. Online here.
Redken Beach Volume - I am obsessed with curly hair at the moment and this beauty from Redken is perfect for beachy waves. Redken's beachy range is just the ultimate range. Online here.
Neal's Yard Seaweed Salt Scrub - Another fantastic product from Neal's Yard, their lovely salt scrub, it stimulates and tones for smooth skin. I love exfoliating my skin before going away and this is just absolutely perfect for this. It makes the skin feel so radiant and polished. Online here.
Clarins Self-tanning Natural Gel - Whilst I don't wear fake tan whilst abroad, I do like to start with a base tan and Clarins always get it right. I particularly love their tanning lotions for a natural glow. Online here.
Last but not least, L'Oreal Expert hair products - Mainly, I'm obsessed with their new DD creme for the hair (online here). This is a dryness defence balm which is perfect for dehydrated sun kissed locks. It treats the hair by locking in moisture and nourishing frazzled ends. Perfect whilst sun bathing!
Are you getting any Summer sun this year? When's your next trip away? Do you like the sound of any of these products?
Lots of love, Em x
