Shopping In Chester With Me!

When I was invited for a day out in the Liverpool/Chester area recently, I couldn't say no. England is pretty fabulous and there's so much of it I am yet to explore. Weirdly, I've never been shopping in this side of the UK so I jumped at the chance. I haven't had a day of shopping in so long so this was way over-due. Matt and I drove straight down to Coleseum Shopping Centre last Saturday to check out their shops and their Selfie Fashion event! As it's Friday, I want to invite you to come shopping with me on todays post.
We pulled into the retail park and first stop, coffee of course. It was the rainiest day ever so we jumped straight into Costa as it was closer to our car. I feel like a traitor as I'm a Starbucks girl through and through. Oops! You may remember my vlog when I did rooftop yoga in the Shard with Starbucks, it was incredible!

Full of fuel, we were ready to brave the rain and run around the shops. Naturally we started with some cake, it's all about balance after all!

The centre ran their selfie fashion event all day, it was a collaboration between the stores in the retail park where they'd dress the models and we'd get to see a little catwalk to give us a snippet of Autumn trends to look out for. Autumn fashion is my absolute favourite so I made sure I watched a few of these shows throughout the day. Who doesn't love Autumn trends?

My first stop was obviously Topshop. They actually have a shop called Outfit which stocks Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge and more - I never knew all of these shops existed under one roof and it certainly got me excited. It's safe to say I picked up a fair few Topshop bits.

Matt was in his element as he found some roll necks in the sale. Perfect for Autumn.

We headed into H&M next where Matt bought some of the new David Beckham range.

I tried on a few things under my mac.

I didn't leave empty handed though.

We headed into Next and I got a little excited over the new homeware. We're moving in together next year so I'm totally on a homeware hype and love everything in Next.

coliseum shopping park We headed into the huge Debenhams, a store I definitely don't go into enough and to my delight, they had a huge Kurt Geiger shoe section. We all know Kurt Geiger is one of my favourite shoe brands so naturally I chose a pair!

I couldn't resist looking at the homeware and sweets at Debenhams first though.

As well as sweets, I left with these black Kurt Geiger shoes as I realise I don't actually have any pairs of black heels!

I loved these too but felt they were too similar to my Louboutins.

chanel espadrillesOutfit: Jumper / Coat / Sunglasses / Skirt / Shoes - Chanel espadrilles, not available online! I got my hair coloured at Sassoon before my trip to the Maldives and am still loving the colour too! I went for more of an Autumn shade.

If you're wondering what's inside the shopping bags, below are a few of the things I picked up!

The rain eventually stopped and after a long day of fashion shows, learning about new A/W trends with the loveliest stylist, we headed for some food! It was really nice to explore a different part of the UK and I'll definitely be heading back.

Have you ever visited this area? Where do you like to go shopping? Can you recommend anywhere?

Lots of love, Em x
