I thought I'd put my most festive post of the season up on one of the most festive weeks of the year, Christmas eve eve, how did that even happen. Last week, I finally took an afternoon off to eat mince pies, listen to Christmas songs and put the tree up. I also did a lot of wrapping too. Come join in and feel super festive! I'm currently skiing, don't forget to read my skiing blog post.
After a cosy Christmas walk in my new coat, Mum and I whipped out the Libratone. I feel like this is going to get overused this Christmas. I'm sure you remember it from my favourite fitness moves at home blog post. It's basically a dream come true, you can transport it anywhere, easily and even hang it from things so it's perfect to spread the festive tunes. I guess I wanted to include it in this post to show you that it's not just good for working out but it's also great for family occasions, like putting the tree up together and I know we'll be using it on Christmas day.
My 'it's nearly Christmas day' outfit of choice? One I'm over wearing a lot recently, plus my Topshop Jamie Jeans (read about how incredible they are).
I love how personal and special our Christmas tree is to our family. Filled with some new baubles and then things we've had for years, like the gorgeous Mr Santa on the left. I was kindly sent some personalised baubles from Kiehl's from the most positive trip of my life, Canada. They sent them as a happy throwback and it genuinely made my day. What an incredible treat. I love that you can tailor your Christmas trees family by family. We even put our initials on them.
As you can see, my family like putting cute things on the tree. This year, I've planted incredible beauty crackers around the tree, some from Clarins, L'occitane and Sanctuary Spa. I am so excited to get them out this Christmas for a bit of a luxe feel to treat everyone when all the presents are unwrapped.
Christmas tunes blearing out, it was time to wrap our presents.
When I have the time, wrapping the presents up is my favourite part. I wouldn't say I'm the best wrapper but I definitely love giving presents rather than receiving them.
After the wrapping, we nibbled on some treats. I have a love for mince pies and definitely wanted to tuck into my Betty's treats, we're leaving these until Christmas day though,
With one very happy tummy, a very beautiful tree and a festive soundtrack still playing (I think it's time to play Elf now!) I think it's safe to say, Christmas is truly on it's way. I hope this has made you feel a little festive!
How are you celebrating Christmas this year? Do you love decorating the tree?
