After my top trends of 2015 post went down so well, I thought I'd do a post today recapping some of my favourite looks of 2016. Recycling and bringing looks back out is my favourite thing, so I know I'll still be wearing these this year too, oh hello 2017, you crept up on us. These have been chosen by my most liked/clicked on/viewed posts from my fashion section and I'm excited to share them. I hope you like these outfits as much as I do. Most of them are still available, or in the sale, so do not fear, you can still grab them now!
All Saints Papin Leather Jacket - Everyone knows that All Saints leather jackets are timeless. When I was younger, I worked at All Saints for around 4 years so I know the work that goes into them. They're really highly regarded leather jackets. I finally took the plunge and bought one and what an investment it's been. I don't mind spending money on staple items such as leather jackets, boots and bags as I know how much wear I get out of them. If you're wanting a good, high quality leather jacket then I cannot recommend All Saints enough. I'd say they're mid-price range (Acne leather jackets and YSL leather jackets are a dream come true, but they're a much higher price range), but a good leather jacket will last you forever, get better with time and transform any outfit. I sized up and went for a size 8 as leather jackets in All Saints tend to come up quite small. I also own a gorgeous leather jacket from Topshop and do find that Topshop leather jackets last really well and are also worth the money if you are looking to invest. See me wearing mine above. Buy one online here. The rings are from LVNDR.
Revole Romper - I felt totally 'girl boss' in this all black everything tux style dress. This year is definitely the year of the blazer and I'm hoping to take this one forward with me. Everywhere from Missguided to Topshop are doing similar blazer dresses but this Revolve one is amazing because of the high quality. You can shop it online here. Topshop do one which is pretty much identical online here.
Topshop Jamie Jeans - Topshop jeans are the jeans of my dreams. I used to hate jeans but these changed my mind. Figure hugging in all the right places, comfortable yet tight, these jeans are my favourite. I always tend to wear black jeans so overwear my black Jamie jeans. You can wear them on a night out with heels, in the day time with trainers, whatever goes. I feel confident and comfortable in them and that's what matters. Don't forget to read my full review of Topshop Jamie Jeans. You can shop them online here. If you'd prefer them in a different colour, you can see the selection online here. I did a huge Topshop haul recently, you need to check it out here.
Me and Em Side Bag - This little bag has come in handy this year in so many ways. From using it as a mini side bag when travelling to make sure my phone and passport are strapped to me, from using it on nights out, to using it to store my day time essentials in. It looks absolutely stunning and is such a gorgeous addition to my wardrobe! You can shop it online here. You may remember it from my weekend in Hamburg.
Black Lace Crop Top - This is the date night top of my dreams. I love nothing more than lace and this affordable little number looks great by itself, under a jumper to reveal a hint of lace or even under a vest top or loose blouse. Online here.
Missguided Square Mini Dress - The pressure of finding the perfect graduation dress was tough. I actually ended up choosing the most simple dress I could find and then proceeded to buy it in every single colour I could find. I fell in love with this simple, Missguided number. It was affordable yet classy and I've worn it so many times since. You can shop it online here and read all about my graduation day too.
Knee High Boots - You may remember me talking about my love for knee high boots on my Autumn wardrobe staples post. It's safe to say, I adore them and cannot get enough. You can get the boots online here and similar here.
Last but certainly not least, my Gucci Swing bag. I blogged about the Gucci swing bag and the response was overwhelming! They're sold out as they're old season (I don't care about old season bags, it's gonna be a staple for me) but you can shop Gucci online here and here. Their new bits are absolutely beautiful.
