A Delicious Brunch In London

I love nothing more than brunch and last week, a pretty delicious brunch took place. I spend my time between Leeds and London and have tried more brunches than anyone should have ever tried. It's safe to say, brunch is my favourite thing to eat. I was invited to a very special new brunch though to try a new menu and I had to let you guys in on the secret. Warning, do not read if you're hungry...

I was invited to The Slug and Lettuce. I'm not gonna lie, I've never eaten at The Slug and Lettuce before and I've never heard anything bad about it, I've just always seen it as somewhere for a girls/guys night or, a hen party. That's about to change, Slug and Lettuce have totally rebranded and transformed their menu. We're talking delicious sharing dishes and, BRUNCH. I was invited down to their London restaurant for some serious brunching.

I didn't try skinny prossecco but have had it before and massively rate it. Anywhere that does 'healthier' options is a winner for me.

We started with some drinks, I went for the mimosa whilst the team catered really well towards Nicole who is pregnant and wanted something similar without alcohol.

Order coffee and it comes with a shot of popcorn, a very different but nice little touch.

We went a little wild and ordered pretty much the whole menu. First up, pancakes (of course). Incredibly yummy.

We said cheers to a beautifully renovated and modern venue, not a hen party in sight.

and then it was time for some avo on toast (are you even a blogger if you don't eat avo on toast?)

For those on the health hype, there's also granola and Greek yoghurt (one of my favourite breakfast dishes)

And if you're like the boys who accompanied us, there's always the big traditional breakfast.

One of my favourite dishes? The Mexican breakfast. Spice, mixed with avo and eggs. Absolute perfection. What I loved most? The atmosphere. Slug and Lettuce have transformed their restaurants, they're modern, friendly and comfortable but still on-trend with gorgeous furniture, delicious drinks and now, a new exciting brunch menu. Grab a group of friends and brunch away like we did.

Cheers! A huge thanks to Slug and Lettuce for having us down to try the new menu. Give me any excuse for a delicious brunch!

Do you love brunch? Do you like to eat out? I eat out SO much!
