Exciting huh? If I'm honest, it wasn't until I discovered more about the brand and watched the advert that I got really excited. Rihanna has developed a brand that a lot of people are talking about and it's for good reasons. Today is the day and Fenty beauty has finally launched in 1,600 stores across 17 countries! I'm sure a lot of you have seen the advert for this going around on social media, one of the best adverts I've seen from a beauty brand. Fenty Beauty by Rihanna was created to work across all skin types an tones, with Rhianna's mandate of inclusivity, it offers a wide range of products for traditionally hard-to-match skin tones, which is great. It really is designed to be an inclusive brand. I was invited down this morning to have a first look at the products and test them so here you go, a first look at Fenty Beauty by Rihanna.
As well as offering products that work well across all skin tones, Fenty Beauty also redefines the rules of beauty with light-as-air formulas, designer to be layered. Below you will see my first look review of Fenty beauty by Rihanna as well as swatches.
The brand describes itself as like Rihanna, both edgy and feminine (I think it's beautiful too, much like Rihanna!). Fenty beauty comes with a complexion-focused product assortment developed to work together and provide everyone with Rihanna's real-life method for radiance, the 'Fenty Face'. I cannot believe how beautiful the design is. A welcome addition to any make up bag. Let's just say, I fell in love this morning.

- Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Long Wear Foundation - Available in 40 shades. Fenty Beauty foundation is the ultimate photo filter, it's a soft, matte long-wearing foundation with buildable coverage. It's medium to full coverage which I love. - 1 Universal Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer - I'm a sucker for a primer and was most excited to try this. It's described as 'The filt’r for sexy skin in real life'. A shine-stopping, pore-diffusing primer that smooths the way for better foundation application and longer wear with an instant retouch effect. I think this will be my morning routine for the foreseeable future. This feels so soft on my hand and the difference is so noticeable when I hold both my hands next to each other. - 6 cream-powder hybrid Killawatt Freestyle Highlighters for face and eyes - I don't really get on with cream highlighters but these are beautiful and actually, so soft and creamy even though they're powder. I personally love the 3D Hyper-Metallic Gold, the idea behind these? Killer radiance. These are weightless, long-wear cream-powder hybrid highlighters (yep she's thought of everything) that range from subtle day glow to insanely supercharged. Check out the swatch of Trophy Wife, it's insane. That glow is the best I've ever seen from a highlighter! I'll be using it on face and eyes. I think it'll look good in the tear duct too. - 1 universal lip gloss known as Gloss Bomb - When I heard 'universal gloss' I was like, how?! But apparently it's the best universal rose nude that looks good on everyone! For me, it makes my lips feel juicy, look bigger but it isn't sticky and the texture is perfect. - A variety of application tools - I need the whole set for my beauty bag. The sponge was actually cut by Rihanna herself in order to get a product that allows you to blend and get into precise areas. Rihanna has created every detail of each product in her collection, which makes me love it even more. So often people put their name to their product but don't actually have much say. It's clear that her passions and designs have come to life here, resulting in a beautiful brand for everyone. From the playful names, the epic shades, the insane glow and, the fact that she has included everyone. Fenty beauty is here to stay. She also personally appointed three prestigious makeup artists to represent Fenty Beauty around the world.
