Beauty Christmas Crackers & The Craft Beer Advent Calendar

best beauty christmas crackers

Christmas is approaching, love it or hate it, it’s coming and it’s coming fast. I’m a festive lover so I’m incredibly excited about this. If you’re not in the Christmas zone yet, turn away now. If you watched my best beauty advent calendars video you’ll know that this year, advent calendars have gone even crazier. I’m excited to start today as my first official Christmas blog post. I’ve been updating my mens Christmas gift guide and womens Christmas gift guide every day, but a humongous guide is coming your way closer to Christmas, in the meantime, I have quite a few posts coming up featuring cool or different Christmas presents. Today, one about a very special advent calendar and crackers if you or someone you know likes craft beer. Let’s discuss.
For years I’ve been buying friends craft beer as a gift. I feel like for guys, who like beer (or girls), craft beer is really cool. If you’re into beer, you’ll probably be into craft beer. See, I’m not a beer lover, but everyone around me is and actually, I’ll admit, craft beer tastes nice and has come a long way from the old school beer I tried as a kid.

In my advent calendar video, you probably saw (if you watched it) me talking about a prosecco advent calendar, yup, really a prosecco advent calendar so don’t worry if beer isn’t your thing. Personally, I’m all for chocolate advent calendars too. But Beer Hawk have brought us a beer advent calendar so finally this year my boyfriend won’t feel left out. Last year I made him his own advent calendar, stuffed full of male beauty minis I’d saved up all year. This year, it’s craft beer all round for the boys in my life.

Beer Hawk are one of the UK’s leading online retailers of craft and specialty beer and have brought us the Craft Beer Advent Calendar and Craft Beer Christmas Crackers. I was so excited to feature this as I like to balance my gift guides out and ensure I’m covering everyone so this is a nice way to start. I do feel like girls get more spoilt and are easier to buy for at Christmas time. Behind these doors are exclusive beers crafted especially for the advent calendar by a few of the worlds best breweries

I don’t want to give too much away, but you get 4 exclusive beers that you’ll never find anywhere else, 17 beer styles from 7 different countries and 23 breweries in 24 days. This costs £75 and advent calendars go from £1 to £400 so it’s a personal choice if you think this is expensive or not, but I think it makes a really special pre-Christmasy gift for a beer lover (or boy that moans that you get all the best beauty advent calendars). I do keep referring to men as beer drinkers but that’s wrong because I know so many women who adore it too. You can get £15 off your advent calendar with promo code BEERHAWKEM just shop here.

So, onto the crackers. Beer Hawk also do craft beer crackers. I have never in my life seen something like this which I think is why I was so incredibly excited to feature these. I’m a sucker for a quirky Christmas gift. You pay £35 and you get 6 crackers with 12 craft beer cans inside from 6 different breweries. As they say, no longer do you get a pair of nail clippers haha, you get world-class craft beer. I cannot wait to whip these out on Christmas Day as I know the men in my life will love these. Again, I think this would either make a great gift or just be a really special party treat during Christmas time.

Now the beauty lover in me couldn’t write a blog post about crackers without featuring some beauty Christmas crackers too, I haven’t actually seen many this year yet but here are a few top picks so far:

Jo Malone Bold & Bright Christmas Cracker - £34 - Christmas with Jo Malone is always the best and their cute little crackers are heavenly. Imagine a Christmas tree filled with Jo Malone? Heavenly. I haven't actually seen the Jo Malone Christmas range in the flesh yet but I know I'll probably cry with excitement when I do as online, it looks incredible and Jo Malone are probably my favourite brand when it comes to fragrance and body. This is filled with three treats, Blackberry and Bay cologne, Basic and Neroli Body & Handwash and Delicious English pear and freesia body cream. Each comes with three minis. I love you Jo Malone.

Nuxe Winter Skincare Cracker - £10 - At just £10, this is the perfect little party treat. Nuxe is ine of my favourite skincare brands and this cracker doesn't disappoint, with micellar cleansing water, creme fraiche moisturiser and shimmering dry oil (personal fave).

Caudalie Cracker - If you like Nuxe, then chances are you'll also like the Caudalie cracker. This comes with three little travel minis, the micellar cleansing water, the vinosource moisturising sorbet and the SOS thirst quenching serum. In flight beauty, sorted.

Eborian Christmas Cracker - £13 - Eborian are an incredible Korean skincare brand. I first discovered them in Space NK and have been hooked ever since. This super cute cracker contains two of their cult products, the CC cream which is apparently the secret of skin perfection. It's enriched with SPF 20 and is a nude BB cream to transform the skin with a velvet finish, it also contains traditional herbs used in Korean skincare. I think this is a great way to try something new. The Pink Perfect cream helps to blur the skin by giving a soft focus look, minimises pores and enhances the glow.

Molton Brown Exquisite Treats Cracker - £20 - I'd be lying if I said a Molton Brown cracker wasn't a dream come true. I need these around my whole table please. Molton Brown minis are my favourite and this includes four.

Decelor Surprise Cracker - £10 - Decleor is one of my favourite brands and my brothers too. We both swear by their serums and cleansers. I still need to have a Decleor facial. I couldn't not include Decleor and know I'll have to stock up on these for my brother this Christmas.

L'Occitane Festive Crackers Collection - £32.50 - In this set you get three Christmas crackers and each one has a trio of goodies for the body and hands. I adore L'Occitane and it's nice that you can get these in a set.

Last year I loved Clarins Christmas crackers but I can't find any online just yet, maybe even I'm too early for the Christmas festivities! I'll report back if I see any!

So there we have it, a low down on the best different Christmas crackers this year, they'd make the perfect stocking filler or, if you're feeling spendy, table gift and then obviously, the advent calendar of dreams for craft beer lovers! Don't forget to use code BEERHAWKEM to get your discount on Beer Hawk too.

Do you drink beer? Do you like craft beer? Which advent calendar are you going for this year, something fancy or sticking to traditional chocolate?
