Big thanks to John Frieda for organising our stay at The Shard, it's safe to say I felt incredibly pampered in this steamy bubble bath watching London go by. I'd had a blow dry earlier that day at Sassoon so didn't get to use the blonde hair products that night but I've adored John Frieda for a long time so cannot wait to use them this weekend.

The Date Night Base - You can read a full detailed blog post about my favourite all time foundations here. For me, the key to a good base is skincare, my favourite list is way too long (from Clinique, Clarins, Skinesis, Oskia, Kiehls, Simple and many more, I'll do a full blog post on my updated skincare soon eek) so today, I'll tell you about my favourite night out/date out foundations. I usually mix Vichy Dermablend with either Armani Luminous Silk or YSL Touche Eclat foundation. These honestly make my skin glow, they give it such a beautiful, dewy look and I swear by them, alone or mixed. I've also been using Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Bouncy Foundation which is a powder foundation and that alone gives the most flawless finish, I was actually shocked at how flawless it makes my skin as I'm not a powder foundation lover. I cover my foundation with MAC Mineralise Skinfinish powder which is my absolute favourite powder, I've used it over foundation since I was 15 and have bought hundreds of this product over the year. I find that concealer isn't too necessary with something like Vichy Dermablend as the coverage is so brilliant (but it looks dewy and feels lightweight) but at the moment Lancome Camo concealer is my go to as it's such high coverage but it feels light-weight too.
The Date Night Bronzer - Anyone who knows me knows that I love to be bronzed, whether it's with Tan Luxe for an all body tan, James Read for the best face tan or L'oreal Paris for a subtle glow, I just love to be bronzed. I think when I have a tanned look underneath my make up, it glows through even better and makes my skin look more flawless. My current favourite bronzers are the Elizabeth Arden Forever Bronzer which is just beautiful as the colours go so well together for a beautiful glow. I also rarely go anywhere without my Bobbi Brown Clementine palette, it also doubles up as an eye shadow, the bronze is the perfect autumn shade and it's perfect for multi-tasking, it's the best handbag product. I also adore By Terry, I find their bronzers perfect for a subtle winter glow. Last but certainly not least, I could never forget Guerlain Terracotta, even in the colder months, it gives me that glow and wakes my skin up.
The Date Night Lips - I'm obsessed with lip colours, particularly in winter when they get really dry. First and foremost, I swear by Clinique pep-start, their lip treatment is the best for dry winter lips and ensures they'll stay smooth even with the driest of lipsticks.
I have a lot of favourite lipsticks, you can read about more autumn lipsticks in my top autumn beauty products blog post but on this particular date night, I went for Armani lip magnet with a coat of Rimmel Lip Art over the top, my favourite gloss at the moment from day to night. Armani lip magnet lasts all night and the colour range is incredible. You also cannot beat L'oreal Paris new lip paints for a matte, bold finish and also YSL lipsticks for their shade range and how beautifully they apply.
