Hello hello, so today I thought I'd write a blog post about my top beauty products for a mega glow this spring - yup, I just used the phrase 'mega glow'... I get so excited every season when I see new beauty products launching, whether it's autumn, spring, summer or winter. I'm on board with all seasons and fully embrace them. I guess that's what happens when you're a beauty lover, you fall for it all. So today I thought it would be good to talk about getting that glow this spring. Let's talk top glow and highlighting products.
Erborian BB Shot Mask - I first discovered Erborian in Space NK and I've been hooked ever since. If you read my best beauty products of 2017 post you'll probably remember me raving about their balm cleanser. It's been a whirlwind love affair but one that isn't ending anytime soon. Just when I thought face masks couldn't get any better (I have a few faves) I discovered their BB Shot Mask. This is designed to be an instant beauty-booster (perfect pre-night out or pre-date night) and gives baby smooth skin. YSL Glow Shot - I do find liquid glows are the best for giving an intense glow. Touche Eclat Glow Shot from YSL comes in three shades, this highlighting cream is all about an intense, glossy glow and it illuminates the skin with its lightweight texture. This is designed for strobing with fingertips and I get so many compliments when I've dotted it on my face. Buy online here.
Fresh Sugar Dream Lip Balm - I know a lip balm isn't strictly speaking a product for a 'glow' but I do like to have soft, smoothe lips. We shouldn't disregard our lips and that's why I always have a lip balm in my bag, whether it's my trusty Lypsyl, Fresh or Jo Malone, it'll always be firmly in my handbag. I couldn't forget to mention Fresh Sugar Dream, this is a lip treatment that enhances the volume of the lips, provides moisture for up to 24 hours and smooths the look of wrinkles around the lip area. Hourglass Vanish Flash Highlighting Stick - Hourglass win in general when it comes to highlights but they just upped their game with this. One small negative though: the twisty motion means the top gets absolutely ruined (as seen on the photo) so be careful when putting the lid on! Mine broke. Now, onto the positives. The reason I adore this range of highlighters from Hourglass is because they're sticks, so easy for the every day gal! These are designed to give an instant flash of light and they're SO weightless. They really are just easy and they look beautiful. These are incredibly easy to blend too so no streaks. This product features soft-focus technology to create a flash of light, giving you the perfect highlight. The triangular end (which I have ruined) is designed for precision application so even the messiest of people (that's me) can have a perfect glow. Draw, blend and you're good to go. Cover FX Drops - These Cover FX Drops are probably the most featured highlighters, ever, on my blog. I have loved them since the day they launched and I'm still using them to this day. I love the different variety of shades, whether you're looking for an iridescent glow or more of a bronzed glow (a la the Kardashians because love them or hate them, who doesn't want their make up to look like Kim Kardashian's?) Kim Kardashian is the queen of the original highlight and she definitely taught me how to contour. I think the reason these differ from other highlighting products is the customisability. They contain ultra-concentrated and refined pearls (yup, amazing) and you can use them alone, as a highlighter or bronzer or blend with your favourite foundation or moisturiser. INC.redible You Glow Girl - This is a total game changer when it comes to a highlight (they do the best lip products too). Meet your new glowing best friend, an iridescent jelly highlighter and I can't decide which colour I love most, is it the tan or the iridescent? Not sure so I have both. It does exactly what it says, a silky-smooth jelly and you can apply it everywhere, whether it's the eyes, the brow line, cheeks or lips for all day radiance and glow. Shop online here.
NARS Illuminator - An oldie, but a goodie. Nars illuminator in Copacabana is one I always come back to. I first purchased this creme de la creme of illuminators when I was living in Canada and highlighting your face wasn't really a thing back then. This is a beautiful pearl-pink liquid formula and it's super flattering, you can use it on your browbones, down the bridge of your nose or high on your cheekbones for a luminous glow. Clarins Neroli Moisture Rich Body Lotion - Another product I've mentioned so much recently but the packaging just screams spring. I've loved Clarins for a very long time and whilst it's great to have highlighted make up, what about our body? I want my legs to glow too. I'm obsessed with Clarins Moisture Rich Body Lotion because it's one of the few formulas I've found that dries quickly and doesn't stick to my clothes, plus, it smells divine. Hello soft, glowing legs. I just wish I wasn't so lazy and moisturised more for the benefits. Shop online here. 
Clinique Fresh Pressed - We've talked about highlights, illuminators, and a body glow but what about a pre-makeup glow? Clinique is the one to help. Fresh Pressed is basically your morning juice but for your skin. The booster has been designed as a daily supplement to help visibly rejuvenate the skin from the outside. You simply add two drops to your moisturiser for brighter skin, a reduction of age spots, a reduction in the look of lines and wrinkles over time and it's meant to give brighter skin from the first application. I have to say, I'm sold. You basically press down and release Vitamin C powder into an emulsion, give it a shake and you're good to go. It's a good way to boost and power up your regular routine and give your skin a fresh glow. Shop online here.
