Erborian Solid Cleansing Oil - When it comes to cleansing balms, I have a few favourites; Erborian, Clinique Take Off The Day and Elemis - these guys are all epic if it's a balm cleanser you're looking for. I think balm cleansers are good because they are so easy, you just slather it all over your face and with one wash, your make up is melted. They're great if you don't have much time. Erborian cleansing oil starts off as a balm and exfoliates the skin and removes all makeup as it turns into an oil/silky lotion. This product is so good for melting off all make up and leaving the skin soft, smooth and happy. I’ve talked about this product so many times but it’s because it’s a goodie.
Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm (with Breast Cancer Care) - I've been using Elemis Pro-Collagen cleansing balm, on and off for years really. It's perfect for dissolving all the make up and grime from your skin. It deeply cleans and softens the skin and never makes me break out, my skin feels so nourished afterwards. I'm even more in love with it now they've brought out a special version in support of Breast Cancer Care.
Kate Somerville Cold Cream - I got through this so quickly, it’s the first Kate Somerville product I’ve used and I love it. It’s a moisturising cleanser that makes your skin feel so soft. Kate is an A-list facialist and is apparently the queen of cult skincare, now when can I book in to see her haha! This is designed to remove even the most stubborn of mascara with no irritation. It also cools the skin on application. This is great to put all over the face and remove everything in one go, it's such a quick and easy cleanser but it does so much for your skin.
Elemis Superfood Facial Wash - Again, a great product for cleansing and one I got through so quickly. I love how soft this feels when I put it on my skin, the texture is dreamy, it's like a liquid silk. It’s designed to be a nourishing facial wash to refresh the skin, as the name suggests, it’s nutrient-dense to give a fresh glow to the skin. This is basically a smoothie for your skin, say hello to avocado, broccoli and pumpkin seeds, they even throw in wheatgrass, kale and nettle! Hello bright complexion.
Paula’s Choice Perfect Cleansing Oil - If I’m not using my Decleor Micellar Water (or even good old Simple Skincare micellar water, cannot beat it and it's long been a staple in my bathroom!) as a first step cleanse, I’ll be using Paula’s choice. It’s a skin replenishing blend of plant oils and it dissolves make up and whisks impurities away. I love how quick it is to use and again, it leaves my skin so smooth.
Filorga Foam Cleanser - A fab, luxurious day to day cleanser. Filorga's Foam Cleanser cleanses the skin but I like it because it's packed with hyaluronic acid to hydrate too rather than drying the skin. I've always been a big Filorga fan and even more so when I visited them in Paris and learnt about the science behind the brand.
Sanoflore Aciana Botanica Divine Bare Skin Gelée Makeup Remover - Firstly, I love how this feels on my skin, like a soothing jelly! Secondly, the price point of this is AMAZING, good, quality skincare at affordable prices gets a thumbs up from me. Thirdly, I’ve visited the Sanoflore farm and know exactly how much amazing work goes into producing these wonderful and natural products. This is a cleanser that hydrates, illuminates and removes pollution particles plus it's suitable for sensitive eyes too which is great for me.
Fresh Soy Cleanser - Last but certainly not least, Fresh Soy Cleanser, a household favourite. Both my Mum and I adore Fresh for so many reasons, not only are their stores absolutely divine but every single product they produce smells incredible too. I've never come across anything from Fresh that I dislike. The Soy Cleanser is a best seller and I know why. It's so gentle for every day use and literally sinks into my skin like silk. This is a new limited edition 200ml version for Fresh addicts like my Mum and I (*buys Mumma Shel endless supplies for Christmas so she never runs out*) So what makes Soy such a classic worldwide fave? It's extra-gentle, gel like and for all skin types plus it even gets rid of mascara, it tones, soothes and softens without stripping the skin of essential moisture. It's a yes from me (and Mumma Shel).
