Who doesn't love Charlotte Tilbury products? To me, it's a brand that gets me really giddy about one of my passions, beauty. Charlotte Tilbury popped into the beauty world with glitz, glam and sparkle and truly took it by storm. I've always loved how the Kardashian's do their make up (love them or hate them, they have flawless make up). I love anything bronzed and flawless goddess like and you could say Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favourite brands for creating exactly those looks (helloooo just look at the Charlotte Tilbury Bar Of Gold Highlighter) and tell me she hasn't nailed that brief. Charlotte Tilbury has launched some new Supermodel lipsticks so today, a review and swatches of the Charlotte Tilbury Supermodel Limited Edition new matte lipsticks.
The first Charlotte Tilbury lip product I bought was her original Pillow Talk lip liner. It launched 5 years ago and is a 'suits all silhouette' to effortlessly enhance the natural lip line. I've always wanted bigger lips without having to under-go surgery and discovering Charlotte's cheat lip liners truly allowed me to have that full lip look, for less. For me, it was Charlotte's lip products that started my infatuation with the brand. Here we are today, I've tried so many products from her ranges and continue to love all of them. Let's look at what's new from Charlotte Tilbury.
I got to try three of the new Supermodel lipsticks. I have applied no filter to the below swatch images so you can see the colour perfectly on me. I also didn't use any lipliner which would have DEFINITELY made the lipsticks look much neater, simply because I want you to see these colours by themselves.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Super Model - My favourite of the three. Super Model is a super-beautiful matte nude rose shade for a statement supermodel lip. I think this is an easy to wear, every day nude but deep enough to take you into the night time too. I like a nude that doesn't make my lips small and I find this is the perfect shade to enhance them without being too dark. Shop Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks online here.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Super Sexy - At first, I didn't think I'd like this but the more I look, the more I like it. A look enhancing long wear lipstick in a nude-rouge shade. It's basically your daily nude with a little kiss of red and I'm here for it. Shop Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks online here.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Super Nineties - To the naked eye, this looks VERY similar to Super Model but as soon as you put it on the lips, you'll see it's a lot deeper. It's like the grown up night out version of Super Model. This is a deep, tawny-grown nude shade to really enhance the natural lip colour for an instantly more luscious pout. My lips definitely feel full with this colour and it's a very Em shade. Again, I would prefer with lipliner to neaten up the edges and this will definitely be my go-to night out colour. Final thoughts? The texture of Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution makes it special, these are soft to apply and definitely buildable, two coats and you have really nice colours. They're moisturising yet long lasting and I would say, because they're soft, it takes practice to make them look neat, hence the above not looking very neat which is why I would use a lip liner with them. They do have quite blunt edges which I like, it means you could definitely draw definition around the edge using the lipstick. My lips feel good though rather than dry which is a nice change with lipstick. I'm a sucker for these shades, the perfect nudes to take you from day or desk to night.
