BEST BREAKFAST/BRUNCH IN LONDON - You can read my full breakfast and brunch guide to London here in detail as it's no secret that I adore breakfast and brunch and London has some of the best. Here's a quick overview…Go to Farmacy for the best healthy waffles in Notting Hill - my favourite vegetarian restaurant to exist, I've had nearly the entire menu and have to say: it hits the spot every time - try Farm Girl in Notting Hill for delicious buckwheat pancakes (I prefer the Chelsea one as it's nicer inside), fun lattes and amazing avocado toast! They do great bowls too. Go to Timmy Green in Victoria for the best Shakshuka and it's near to Buckingham Palace so perfect for a tourist day, alongside the Daisy Green collection they also have Darcie Mae and Green, if you fancied a bottomless brunch on a boat, it's a really fun, unique experience - their banana bread is 10/10! I'd say try their bacon roll too, it's divine and pretty famous! - For a really special breakfast, go to The Savoy Thames Foyer think luxurious, spectacular British feast breakfast (the perfect birthday morning breakfast - get the papaya on the side and thank me later) with beautiful London views - One I always go to: The Ivy (The Chelsea one is the best in my opinion) for the omelette and crumpets, if you can get a seat in the outdoor courtyard you're onto a winner, it's absolutely stunning - For something different, try Dishoom {I go to High Street Kensington but they also have Soho and Shoreditch} for a quirky Bombay style breakfast - you can actually book breakfast too so it's easier to get a seat - try the breakfast naan for a taste sensation and ensure you try their oat chocolate chai too - In my opinion you can't beat Granger and Co - the best for ricotta pancakes and scrambled eggs. They also do dippy eggs and sourdough, I love their Pavillion Road Chelsea restaurant but they also have Kings Cross and Notting Hill too. I go here FAR too much - For the ultimate bottomless luxurious brunch, head to the Four Seasons Park Lane, 100% the best bottomless brunch I've had - epic service, food, quality and just the best way to spend a Saturday or Sunday in London, it's incredibly luxe and such a special experience - Head to Cafe Beam in Notting Hill for incredible Med style breakfast, Matt + I always say this is our favourite brunch spot in the whole of London, I always get their veggie breakfast plate and a side of pancakes, we always order a side of them with bacon and maple syrup, alongside our Mediterranean breakfasts, Matt is OBSESSED with this restaurant, it's kind of Turkish / Med inspired vibes and the line is well worth it. You've never had halloumi like it! - Our absolute new favourite which i genuinely think has taken the top spot? The Terrace by L'Opera in Knightsbridge: just the most incredible brunch you will have. They have a build your own crepe station {get the Oreo crepe and thank me later}, the best french toast I have ever eaten and incredible dishes like eggs, shawarma wraps and so much more. You can also sit in the most beautiful venue and watch the world go by. This restaurant is style AND substance which I think is quite difficult to get right sometimes.
PANTECHNICON Belgravia
Head to PANTECHNICON Belgravia for the yummiest Scandi inspired dishes, imagine the most amazing selection of cheeses and chutney, divine seasonal porridge, granola and yoghurt and of course, eggs and salmon. They do the most delicious seasonal breakfast and brunch {think divine juices and amazing tea too}. This rooftop is utterly gorgeous, a calm serenity away from the hustle and bustle of busy London, it's like an incredible greenhouse tucked away. It's worth going just to have a lovely coffee and {insane!!!!} pastry up there even if you are just passing by as it's such a beautiful spot. I'd say it's one of the most beautiful venues in London. I genuinely think this is one of the best hidden gems in London.

BEST LUNCH/DINNER RESTAURANTS IN LONDON -
THE BEST PREMIUM/LUXURY RESTAURANTS IN LONDON
SKETCH - Regent Street - If you want to visit Sketch (it's an experience in itself and is famous for it's insta-worthy egg toilets) I’d always suggest going for afternoon tea in the Parlour, which is the pink room. More on the top afternoon teas in London later down on this blog post but Sketch is probably my favourite afternoon tea in London. If you are wanting dinner, it goes without saying that the dinner is phenomenal but it’s one of London’s more expensive and special restaurants. They do phenomenal steak at Sketch. I’ve eaten in most of the different rooms and the Parlour is definitely the best for a luxurious vibe. If afternoon tea isn’t for you (Sketch does one of the best afternoon teas I’ve ever had) then book in for the dinner and enjoy the luxurious, white glove service. You can eat breakfast at Sketch but it's not in the pink room, it's still a nice experience though. Sketch has a famous Library room, I haven't personally eaten there but if you're looking for an exquisite tasting menu, my friends have been many times and say it's one of the best premium restaurants in London. It has three Michelin stars so it really is one of the best luxury restaurants in London.

Mei Ume
MEI UME - Four Seasons Ten Trinity - Tower Hill - If you're looking for a luxurious experience and love Asian food, head to Mei Ume for a luxury Chinese and Japanese dinner. This restaurant is phenomenal, they intertwine Japanese and Chinese food with a modern twist and of course, in true Four Seasons style you will have unrivalled service. We struggled to choose on the menu, with specialists like black cod, Peking duck, lobster and wagyu. The sushi rolls were absolutely delicious, stuffed with goodness and freshly prepared by the incredible chefs. The bar area is absolutely beautiful too but I'd also recommend heading into the Rotunda lounge in the hotel afterwards to listen to the live pianist as you grab a drink from the beautiful bar. I was always told by someone in the industry to eat at hotels because they have the best restaurants as they can afford the top chefs, it makes sense!
SETTE - BULGARI HOTEL - Knightsbridge - Tucked away by Harrods inside the Bulgari hotel is Sette London, a sexy, luxurious date night location. If you're looking for Manhattan style, Italian food look no further, with exquisite cocktails, the most beautiful bar area and incredible pasta / meat and fish choices, this is for you. Sette London is perfect for an upscale date night, celebrations with the girls or a special occasion. The service was exceptional from start to end and I highly recommend putting this on your list for dining in London. The venue itself is just stunning.
STK - Covent Garden - My favourite vibey steak restaurant in London is definitely STK, think dressed up, luxurious and glam. STK is such a fun, loud glamorous restaurant {it's definitely not one to take your Gramps to and you definitely have to be in the mood for big portions and loud music as it’s more of a nightclub. Never go to STK without getting the truffle fries and the mac and cheese. I always get the steak with a lobster tail on top and we get the mini sliders to start. It’s definitely one of the pricier restaurants in London for steak but it’s such a great experience and top quality steak. I’ve eaten at STK’s all around the world, including LA, Miami and London and I always have the best service and quality food. You can head upstairs after to Radio Rooftop bar for expensive but beautiful cocktails with views over London. You can read my old review of STK London if you missed it.
SIMPSONS THE STRAND - Covent Garden - If you’re looking for top quality, luxury dinner (and the best roast dinner or beef wellington of your life) then look no further the Simpsons on The Strand. We went here on a recent stay at The Savoy and it’s been a long time since a restaurant has blown me away so much. I have told so many people about how special this is. It’s an incredibly premium, British eatery with so much history behind it and I can imagine it's so cosy in Winter. Think incredible, romantic, live music playing as a carving trolley comes to your table and serves you up the best Sunday roast or beef wellington. I had the best service and the most incredible British roast. If meat is your thing, you'll love this place. I wrote a review of Simpsons Restaurant The Strand if you missed it.
SLOANE PLACE - Chelsea - If you're looking for a hidden gem spot away from the chaos, head up to the second floor terrace inside the Sloane Place - moments from Saachi Gallery + Sloane Square, this spot is divine. The service was great, the spot is dog friendly AND the food was sooo fresh. The space is calming, tranquil and delicious. I rate the rose margarita, delicious wine selection and the 1kg of prawns. It's the perfect date night evening for drinks, after-shopping nibble spot, sharing dishes catch up or dinner. There was something for everyone on the menu too, I was super impressed.
THE NED - Bank - I adore The Ned, it’s definitely one of my favourite spots in London. It’s an old bank and inside it’s phenomenal (with the best rooms too if you’re lucky to nab one for a stay). There are loads of different restaurants inside and you can't go wrong with any of them to be honest. I personally LOVE Malibu Kitchen inside for a healthy lunch, Kaia for sushi and Asian sharing plates and then Cecconi’s for Italian. It’s great as there’s so much choice inside. They apparently do an insane Sunday brunch too which I am yet to try but it's on my list.
CHAI WU - Knightsbridge - We stumbled upon here in Harrods many moons ago and I still tell people how exceptional this place is. If you’re looking for a premium Chinese meal then this is for you. I absolutely LOVE Chinese food and it was such a treat to have such a luxurious meal, everything was cooked to perfection. You can read my old review of Chai Wu if you missed it but I'm overdue a revisit!

NOVIKOV - Mayfair - We are yet to try the Italian side of Novikov, only the Asian fusion side {it's split into two menus} and we absolutely love the food. If you're looking for a bouji vibe then you'll love Novikov, it's quite a flashy, Mayfair style place but it's somewhere you can get dressed up and have great sushi. I'd say it's very similar to TAO in NYC / LA, great vibes, great service and luxury Asian fusion dishes.
RUYA - Mayfair - If you want an exceptional dinner, this is now officially my favourite restaurant in London. Ruya is sensational and I already cannot wait to go back. Famous for Anatolian sharing plates, including an incredible bread oven so expect to have the best bread dishes of your life. We got the steak to share and it was one of the best steaks I have ever had. Much better than even specialised steak restaurants. It's rare for me to want to order the entire menu but I genuinely could have eaten every single small dish on here, the choice is amazing. I absolutely want to host my birthday party here, I'm excited to go back and try it on a weekend for the vibe as apparently they have DJs but earlier in the week, it was the perfect date night destination or would be amazing for a girlie catch up or special occasion dinner. The service was exceptional and every dish was ordered was phenomenal.
SUSHI SAMBA - Covent Garden or The City - I’ve popped this into the premium and luxury section as I do think it’s one of London’s more expensive sushi restaurants, it goes without saying that you can make the menu cheaper depending on what you order. Sushi Samba absolutely blew me away when I first visited, as much as people love the one in The City because it’s got amazing views, I love the decor of the Covent Garden one (and love Covent Garden in general). If you are in The City, it's worth going as it's got the most insane views of London BUT I spend most of my time central.
NOBU - Various locations but I've only tried Shoreditch - I'd eat here every day if I could, I adore Asian fusion food and Nobu for me is one of the best luxurious Japanese restaurants. Their Shoreditch restaurant is underground, dark and romantic, the best vegetables you will ever eat and the best service too.

FOUR SEASONS PARK LANE HOTEL RESTAURANT - Mayfair - Years ago someone massively into their food told me to always eat at hotel restaurants, they have the money to hire the top chefs so you're always going to get exceptional food. The Four Seasons Park Lane is one of the best meals I have had, I have had the pleasure of visiting twice now and both times the service has been beyond exceptional and of course, the food has been amazing. The Four Seasons is synonymous with luxury and the highest level of service anyway, so I didn't expect anything less. I first visited the Four Seasons Park Lane for their brunch and wow, I cannot recommend this enough, it's actually really well priced for such a premium restaurant and the food just keeps coming, so if you're wanting the Four Seasons experience and luxury without the price tag of say their dinner, go for the brunch, it would be so perfect for a special occasion. If you're looking for a dinner or a lunch, I recommend their outdoor terrace so highly, we sat underneath their heaters, on their gorgeous terrace and had nibbles from the bar snacks menu (the best bar snacks menu ever, think wagyu beef sliders, scollops, cheese board) and mixed it with mains from their dining menu: lobster linguine - the best I have ever tasted, parmesan truffle fries and the best watermelon cocktail. It's great how flexible it is, you can pop in for drinks and nibbles from the bar menu, or a cheeseboard and a dessert or go the whole way and have a full dinner like we did. I was utterly blown away and already cannot wait to go back here and eat again. I would 100% recommend this place for any special occasions.
Chef Philli's Taste Kitchen at No1 Park Lane
KOJI - Parsons Green - A hidden, local gem and I’m so glad I found this place via Instagram. Locals rave about this family run Japanese and honestly, it’s great for high quality sushi and sharing plates as well as cocktails too. Don't miss out on the rock shrimp, peppers or the teriyaki chicken. If I could afford it, I'd happily eat here every night. I'd say it's just as good as your Nobu and Novikov's without the glamorous / boujee / pretentious vibes, so you're having super authentic, high quality food but you're supporting a local business.
FENCHURCH - The City - For a very special lunch or dinner, head to Fenchurch inside Sky Garden, not only does it mean you get to go up the Sky Garden {reservations include a slot up to the gardens}, you get to sit with one of the best views in London whilst you eat. This is more smaller portions, but exquisitely designed food with the most delicious flavours by the executive chef. The bread and butter to start was one of the best I've ever had, I really judge a place by the bread they service and the homemade butter and bread really did get 10/10 for me. The presentation of the food is great too. This is a great venue for a special occasion and the views truly are mind-blowing.
FAVOURITE BAR IN LONDON:
POLO BAR - One of the first dates I took Matt on was to Polo Bar and this is one of my favourite bars because the cocktails are of the highest quality, made with the best ingredients. If you’re into cocktails you will adore this place. Make sure you get the bar snacks too, the prawns are to die for. I would go back here every weekend if I could. It’s definitely on the top end of the scale price wise but the quality of the food and drinks reflect this and the service is exceptional.
THE BEST MID-RANGE RESTAURANTS IN LONDON:
THE IVY CHELSEA GARDEN - Chelsea - I think all Ivy restaurants are good but The Ivy Chelsea Garden is by far the best (Covent Garden is the original but I just think this is the classiest most stunning Ivy to exist), try and get a seat in the conservatory or outside in the terrace when you make a reservation and make sure you get the arancini balls and zucchini fritter to start, oh and the sourdough bread with salted butter. The service is always exceptional and the cocktails are great too. It’s a real local Ivy so I’ve got to say it’s the best for service and style. It’s so beautiful in the outside area, I'm always blown away.

THE IVY ASIA - Various - I recently visited The Ivy Asia Chelsea and I have to say, as someone who adores Asian fusion food and has eaten at 'the best' - Tao, Nobu, Novikov etc {all the big names} - this truly was one of the best experiences I have had and actually, in terms of luxury asian fusion food, the price of the menu is fantastic. Price wise, The Ivy Asia is nothing like Nobu prices but the quality is just as good. The food was fresh, delicious and high quality. It's a really fun place to go, with amazing music by a DJ and some show stopping dishes for 'year of the tiger'; think huge shells with sushi inside, meals served inside large gold ducks and cocktails that take your breath away. It really is an experience. We had the half duck and it was big enough to feed a group of 6, the large dish portion sizes are huge too. The wagyu sushi was perfection and wow, you must try the salt and pepper beef: it comes on a hot stone and is to die for. I would say this is an amazing restaurant to go to with a group of friends as the menu is designed to be shared, you can really order lots of dishes and try everything out but split the cost. I loved going on a date night with my boyfriend but we wanted to try the entire menu, there is so much choice and we physically didn't have the room so we almost need to go back with a group of us so we have an excuse to try even more dishes. I was so impressed with the venue, it is utterly stunning - it literally took my breath away but unlike a lot of Instagram friendly venues, this is style and substance with high quality, delicious food, hearty portions and the most amazing service to match. We were served by Junior and Gina and truly, they went above and beyond with dish recommendations, delicious wine and were just genuinely amazing at looking after us all night. It was some of the best service I have had at a restaurant in a long time. I cannot fault the restaurant in any way, they also cater so well if you are vegetarian with lots of veggie options on the menu. I think it's incredibly rare to find somewhere with style and substance but The Ivy Asia ticks both. I already cannot wait to go back.
The Ivy Asia
MASH - Soho - Mash is another good restaurant for steak, slightly cheaper than STK but still really good. I had an epic meal here once and would highly recommend it if you want to go to a fancy steak restaurant without the STK price tags.
HAWKSMOOR - Various - We visit the Knightsbridge Hawksmoor for Sunday roast and it is phenomenal, yes it's expensive but they use such good quality ingredients and go big on the Yorkshire puds which is what I'm all about. I ordered an extra, of course. I think the service here is great, it's premium but it's really relaxed. If you're looking for a great steak, Hawksmoor is such a wonderful mid-range spot using the best ingredients.
THE HUNTERS MOON - South Kensington - This neighbourhood pub / restaurant has quickly become a favourite of ours, since they opened I’ve lost count of the amount of Sunday roasts we have had here, they truly do the best focaccia to start, the most amazing Sunday roasts and don’t miss out on the crumble. Hunters Moon is such a lovely traditional type pub atmosphere serving lovely drinks, epic food and with the most passionate and lovely staff. It's just a gentle stroll down from Harrods so great if you're in that area too. This is a luxurious but laid back pub and I would say the best roast dinner in London. This is a lovely, friendly but luxurious pub plus dog friendly which is a bonus, the conservatory area is gorgeous. They serve dinner but we always go for their Sunday roast.
HUO - Chelsea - My current go-to for Asian fusion food. I absolutely love this local spot for delicious Chinese / Korean / Japanese fusion food. The prawns are the best I have ever had and don't forget to get the seaweed. This spot is dog friendly too which is a total bonus as it's such a gorgeous venue, I didn't expect it would be dog friendly. Gorgeous sharing plates, huge portions and just delicious fresh food.
DISHOOM - Various locations - You can’t go to London and not eat at Dishoom, whether you fit it in for lunch or dinner, you need to go. Go an hour earlier than you want to eat and expect to wait and queue (they don’t take reservations unless you have a large table) but I’m telling you, it’s one of the best meals you’ll ever have. Every time I eat here I have the best service and the best meal, I literally order the whole menu eek. Dishoom is Indian Bombay style street food and it’s great for sharing plates. I love the Kensington one but they have Dishoom’s in Shoreditch, Soho, Kensington and Covent Garden now too.
CINNAMON BAZAAR - Covent Garden - I went here for a meeting and I've been dreaming of it ever since. I'd say it's a more expensive version of Dishoom, similar food but a totally different experience. You can order lots of different Indian dishes and share everything, every dish we had was incredible. Since, I have also had this for takeout, even the takeout quality is out of this world, definitely one of my favourite Indians.
FLAT IRON - Various Locations - If you’re looking for good but affordable steak, go to Flat Iron, there’s a reason there’s always a huge queue outside. Flat Iron is £10 for steak and then you can add on your sides of veg and/or chips. I don't know how they do it for the price but somehow, they do. I could only get a seat at 10pm at night but I have to say, it was phenomenal. I thought the food would probably be really low quality but actually, it’s really good. It’s a super casual dining spot and a great place on a Friday night for a cheap and cheerful meal with friends.

EAT BEIRUT - Parsons Green - We absolutely love Lebanese food and in the search for the most authentic Lebanese in London, we found Eat Beirut. This is a wonderful, family run Lebanese restaurant in Parsons Green and truly, it is exceptional. They serve the most amazing sizzling meat dishes and if you’re veggie, you can seriously fill up on all the veggie sides and starters. We go here and pretty much order the entire menu, almost like tapas. We love the baba ganoush, the fatayers which are like pasties, the amazing bata hara cooked potatoes, the most delicious vermicelli rice and don’t forget to add some garlic sauce and chicken shawarma! This is great because the food is so fresh but healthy too and the owners are truly so passionate about their food. It comes out when it’s piping hot and ready, you must try this restaurant for lunch or dinner. The prices are amazing too for such great quality authentic afood.
DIN TAI FUNG - Covent Garden - Voted one of the top 50 restaurants in the world, we finally got Din Tai Fung in London! If you didn’t know about it, you’d definitely walk past here and think nothing of it but I’m telling you, Din Tai Fung is spectacular. Again, expect to wait so get there early. Din Tai Fung is a Taiwanese restaurant and perfect for sharing Asian food. I had the yummiest green beans of my life and they’re famous for their precision made dim sum. I don't really like pork but even I enjoy their dim sum so much. Make sure you get the chocolate and custard buns, they are exceptional. I absolutely LOVED the desserts here, the chocolate melt-in-your-mouth dim sum and salted custard buns are exceptional and honestly I am still dreaming of them but be quick, they only serve 200 of them every weekend! I would go back purely for dessert. This is such a good experience.
LA FAMIGILA - Chelsea - Speaking of local places, La Famiglia is probably one of the best Italians I have ever had. Make sure you book, this place serves the freshest pasta (no pizza) and the best desserts ever, make sure you get the tiramisu from their desserts trolley! Hang around for the dessert trolley as it's a show in itself. You've never seen so many homemade desserts. This is such a fun, family run restaurant with traditional dishes and it’s like eating in an old Italian house. The outdoor area is really cute too.

AVE MARIO - Covent Garden - Ave Mario is from the Big Mamma group and oh my goodness, this new addition to Covent Garden is honestly fabulous. Apparently dog friendly?! I will confirm soon and if so, I'll be taking Maple! Kylie filmed a recent music video here and I can see why, it's like an adults playground inside. They serve amazing cocktails bigger than your head and you just cannot be in a bad mood when eating here, it's such a fun experience and the entire restaurant is just happy vibes. It's incredibly well priced for authentic, great quality pizzas and pastas. GET THE TRUFFLE PASTA!!! This place is just such a great shout for a fun night with friends. It's also dog friendly, huge bonus!
CHUCS - Kensington/Belgravia/Chelsea - I love Chucs and found it in South Kensington, whilst I'm yet to go for breakfast *I know it will be amazing because the menu is amazing* I have eaten dinner here a few times now and I always love it. The service is out of this world, they're dog friendly and the venue is stunning, it reminds me of a beautiful French style restaurant, with outdoor heaters and just the best service. It feels premium without being stuffy. Get the truffle arancini, focaccia and padron peppers to start, for mains the Caico e Pepe is out of this world or the pizza, my boyfriend loves the burger. We go back here so often because the food is such high quality but the service is exceptional too. Don't leave without a tiramisu!
LINA STORES - Kings Cross / Soho - This restaurant is SO good for affordable Italian food, we had the most incredible pasta dishes and we could not believe how affordable they were. We had mountains of pasta, delicious sides and amazing cocktails and probably the best priced Italian we've come across. The decor is absolutely stunning too. This is super authentic and has great history too.
ROSA’S - Various locations - I was first taken to Rosa’s by my friend in Soho and we fell in love with this busy little Thai restaurant. I then found the one in Chelsea and I now remain hooked. I love Thai food but don’t believe Thai food has to be super expensive. Rosa’s serves authentic Thai food, delicious cocktails (I renumber being like YUM out loud when I had cocktails here with my dinner) and it doesn’t break the bank either. The Spring rolls are incredible. Such a nice, casual, affordable restaurant, it can be kinda loud but it's still epic.
HARRY'S DOLCE VITA - Knightsbridge - Nestled by the side of Harrods, this is the best people watching spot. The breakfast is not my fave here, but if you want a cool, boujee style Italian, this hits the spot. They're famous for their truffle pasta and it comes out piping hot in a copper pan. The service can bit a bit hit and miss but it's one of those famous Tiktok restaurants that you have to try because if you get a good meal, it's actually really good!
VINTRY KITCHEN - The City - I’ve eaten here twice now and dream of going back and devouring their baked aubergine and mushrooms in a bag. I absolutely love Asian food and Vintry Kitchen does the most insane Asian fusion, tapas sharing plates. It’s a hidden, dark, quirky little restaurant that honestly, you’d never find unless you were staying at the hotel (highly rate this as a hotel too FYI, it's Small Luxury Hotels approved meaning it's the creme de la creme) or someone recommended it to you but I cannot recommend it enough. The flavours in the food were incredible and the cocktails were exceptional too. There’s an insane rooftop upstairs too and also a restaurant too, but I think the menu is different to Vintry Kitchen. If you like Asian food, you need to go here.
HEDDON STREET KITCHEN - Regent Street - I’ve always loved Heddon Street Kitchen, one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants for nibbly food just off Regent Street. I always end up ordering a mix mash of the starters and small plates and then sharing with whoever I’m with. I’m a massive Gordon Ramsay fan and I’d say this is one of his accessible restaurants.
MAYFAIR KITCHEN - Mayfair - I always head here in Mayfair for yummy sharing plates. The menu is random but it works, with some Italian dishes, some Mexican and some Spanish, you basically just order a mix match and they all come. Get the croquettes, the patatas bravas and a pizza, you wont regret it. I love a date night at the Mayfair kitchen.
POLPO - Various locations - I really love Polpo for sharing food. It’s a Venetian restaurant but I’d say the food reminds me of Italian food. Lots of pastas, delicious salads, veggies and mini pizzas to share with delicious drinks to go alongside. Imagine an Italian tapas, that's what this reminds me of. I love sitting at the one outside near Sloane Square, it's definitely my favourite one! The Notting hill one is also cute. Look out for the seasonal specials, I had the nicest peach salad!
FARZI CAFE - Haymarket - My brother, Matt and I were blown away when we went to Farzi cafe and we are all desperate to go back. It's the UK version of a famous Indian chain and I really hope it does as well here as it does there because it's just incredible. This is the coolest, luxurious restaurant and is a modern interpretation of traditional Indian cuisine. I loved the atmosphere, it's lively but not too loud. I'd say it's a glossy, luxurious, innovative Indian restaurant with a British twist on some of the dishes. The venue is also divine.
ZIZZI - Various locations - How could I not talk about my beloved Zizzi? We often pop in when we can’t be bothered to cook and we ALWAYS get the garlic bread (with a side of garlic butter) to start, the starters at Zizzis are SOOO good (I love the Cichetti board too), it’s an affordable, Italian and it’s spot on every time. I get the chicken hanging skewer or the tomato pomdoro pasta and the boys LOVE the wagyu pizza or the calzone. I like it because there are so many choices but it’s super affordable too, you know what you’re getting. I always get the salted caramel brownie to finish. My favourite London Zizzi is the one at Victoria, the best venue and great service. The most stunning Zizzi I have ever seen is on St Katherine Docks, if you're looking for something a little different!
THE LEBANESE BAKERY - Harrods & Covent Garden - I LOVE Lebanese food so so much, if you're looking for Lebanese baked goods, look no further than The Lebanese Bakery which recently opened in Harrods. Imagine divine, freshly baked flatbreads with SO many toppings, labneh to dip your fresh Lebanese bread into and even Nutella flatbreads for dessert. These are by far the freshest Lebanese snacks I've ever tasted and the salads are out of this world too - plus, great service! A fun, casual dining spot!

TIMMY GREEN - Victoria - I always tell people to go to Timmy Green for brunch, it’s insane but they also do an amazing Aussie dinner too. Get the halloumi fries, padron peppers and calamari to share for starters then go for either the vegan sharing board or the meaty one for meat lovers. Such a beautiful venue and such good, hearty food but really different, fresh food. The brunch is great if you want a bottomless brunch in a fun, airy, central venue. Get the banana bread or the breakfast roll!
ZIGGY GREEN - Regent Street - I have a new favourite from the Daisy Green Collection! Ziggy Green just launched it's Mexican nights menu and I am dreaming about going back, I've been thinking about it since the last time I went. I would book this over and over if I could! Sit outside on their gorgeous patio and grab a WHOLE watermelon, full of margarita! The jackfruit nachos are honestly to die for and obviously make sure you end with the Marsbar cheesecake ball, thank me later. I can't wait to take my brother to try their new menu. I've got to say, the watermelon margaritas set this place aside! It of course, isn't a traditional Mexican restaurant but it's an Aussie restaurant serving Mexican faves and it's such a fun vibe with the watermelon cocktails and tacos!
BONDI GREEN - Paddington - My favourite new green is Bondi Green! All of the Daisy Greens are different but Bondi is definitely the most beautiful inside. The decor is truly stunning and I think it's one of the best roast dinners I have ever had. You can sit by Paddington canal in the Summer and enjoy people watching with a frozen Aperol in hand {or a froze}, in Winter you can cosy up and enjoy mash and gravy. The love that goes into their gravy is almost as much as my Mum's Yorkshire gravy. They take food so seriously here so definitely try stop in for breakfast / lunch / dinner or drinks, it's worth it just to see the decor. One of the best designed / aesthetic restaurants in London in my opinion!
MAYA - Shoreditch - On the topic of Mexican cuisine, I find it really hard to find authentic Mexican cuisine in London. If you are just craving some Mexican style food, MAYA at the top of the Hoxton Hotel {head round the back to find it} is such a gorgeous rooftop with the most amazing food. They do delicious nachos, guacamole made infront of you and delicious tostadas. This is a really cool, new rooftop spot for Mexican food and I can imagine in Summer is is just a dream come true. It's owned by Soho House so as you can imagine, the interiors are just drool worthy. Head in for some cocktails {Eastern Standard is my favourite} alongside some chips and thank me later.
PASTAIO LONDON - Soho - I accidentally stumbled into here when looking for somewhere to eat in Soho (I couldn't get into Dishoom, story of my life haha) and wowza this place is incredible. It's got a tiny menu but serves the loveliest pastas, ever. I went for the spinach pasta and it was just divine. I don't think I'v ever had such fresh pasta, it's also really affordable too in comparison to some Italians so a perfect lunch spot.

FARMACY - Notting Hill - I know I mentioned Farmacy on my best brunch in London blog post but it does deserve its own feature when it comes to lunch and dinner too because the rest of the menu is awesome. We love heading here for dinner. Farmacy is a vegetarian restaurant and the Mac and cheese, nachos and pizette are all incredible. Make sure you try their earth bowls for lunch and if you're hungry, their bean burger with fries is spectacular. We usually just order all the nibbles from here. They have the coolest, healthy drinks menu ever too. Farmacy is the place for health conscious, quirky food and trust me, I've eaten there over 50 times!
BEST PIZZA IN LONDON - For the best pizza in London I have a few recommendations (and I feel I could write a whole blog post just about the best pizza places in London really)… Pizza Pilgrims for delicious, sloppy style pizza - Franco Manca for super affordable sourdough base pizza so it feels slightly healthier {Matt doesn't rate it but I think they're good healthier pizzas} and Homeslice for the best, biggest pizza you’ll ever eat. There's also a cute place in Chelsea/Ealing/Islington/Brentwood called Santa Maria which does similar thin base pizzas to Franco Manca, really thin, sloppy pizzas. Big Mamma Group - We often order from Napoli Gang for the most delicious at home Napoli pizzas, but you can eat at their restaurants too: Ave Mario for the most fun vibe in Covent Garden, Gloria in Shoreditch {famous for the pasta cheese wheel!} and Circolo Popolare just off Oxford Street - their pizzas are sooo delicious and their restaurants are so fun.
BEST AFTERNOON TEA IN LONDON - This could be a blog post by itself so I’ll probably write a separate one and expand on this at some point all about the best afternoon teas in London but as a reference if you’re looking for a good afternoon tea, I’d highly recommend Harrods tea rooms (I love a place that refills the sandwiches and are really good with dietary requirements, eg, I don’t like salmon sandwiches but they swapped them out for me) and the cakes were perfection, plus of course in true Harrods style, the service was too.

Biscuiteers Afternoon Tea

Rosewood London - Dali Art Inspired Afternoon Tea
Rosewood London - Dali Art Inspired NFtea - I think this has got to be the coolest afternoon tea in London. The Rosewood {one of the best hotels in London} and a lovely walk from Oxford Street - hello post-shopping tea fix... have launched their new Art afternoon tea, inspired by the iconic works of surrealist painter, Salvador Dali. As far as I'm aware, this is probably the worlds first NFT afternoon tea?! Or at least, the quirkiest afternoon tea in London but it still feels incredibly luxe {just how an afternoon tea experience should feel}. This is an immersive experience, with the chance to catch your very own NFT. The scones were utterly divine, probably some of the best I have ever had {and they even did incredible gluten free ones for my guest, she said they were the best she's had too!}. The patisserie selection, by Executive Pastry Chef Mark Perkins absolutely blew us away, the most stunning, art like designs, inspired by Dali...almost too pretty to eat. I'd say the portions were incredible too, I was super impressed by the size of the desserts and tucked straight in. This is a really quirky take on an afternoon tea, there's no traditional tea stand and instead, it's all about artistic design, seriously skilled pastry chefs and unbelievable scones. This is an incredible experience at one of the finest hotels in London and I'd highly recommend heading here to get your fix, particularly if you're a fan of art or NFTs! Afternoon tea at The Rosewood London truly is a work of art.
Sketch - Just off Regent Street - I always say this is probably the best afternoon tea in the whole of London, if you wanted a 'wow' experience and probably the most expensive afternoon tea in London too, then Sketch is for you. You will be stuffed for days afterwards, just when you think it's over, they bring the fresh scones, make sure you have it in the pink Parlour room.
The Ritz afternoon tea is good but different because they bring a cake tray out at the end rather than giving you loads of cake on a traditional stand, it definitely helps eliminate waste and of course, who doesn't want to have food at The Ritz - I'm desperate to try afternoon tea at The Berkeley, rumour has it they now do a Dior themed afternoon tea? I need to try.
Biscuiteers also do DIY icing at their stores which you can turn into an afternoon tea, it's a sugary afternoon tea with no sandwiches but SO much fun to go here for dessert, I absolutely loved doing DIY icing. It's makes the most therapeutic date, ever and I had SO much fun, oh and arguably the best biscuits you can eat too.
For a luxurious afternoon tea and alongside Sketch - my favourite afternoon tea in London, try The Langham, just at the top of Regent Street - I'd describe it as a fabulously British, laidback yet luxurious afternoon tea, just how a high tea should be, perfect service in a beautiful - calming lounge - you must go to here. They have the most beautiful music by a live pianist and serve the exquisite sparkling wine by Gusbourne which is truly divine, they serve a traditional British biscuit afternoon tea which is really quirky. I took my American friends and they absolutely loved it. The scones are some of the best I’ve ever had. You are not rushed, it's full of special touches and it’s served in the most beautiful lounge room. I already can't wait to take my Mum back to try this.
The Four Seasons, Mayfair - I love the Four Seasons Park Lane, their brunch and dinner are out of this world but they do afternoon tea as well! In a really relaxed lounge, with delicious teas, amazing cakes and lots of yummy sandwiches, they change seasonally but at Christmas this included luxurious favourites like lobster and turkey. Of course, the service is always above and beyond.
Shangri- La The Shard - Don't forget Shangri La in The Shard for afternoon tea, they usually do a yearly breast cancer awareness afternoon tea and it really puts the high in high tea, dining so many floors up. I am always blown away by the service at the Shangri La, so expect exquisite service and some very special teas that will literally create magic infront of your eyes. The level of care that goes into the cakes here is phenomenal and it's for a good cause too!
So there we have it, here are some of my absolute favourite restaurants in London, I really hope this will help you if you're visiting London and looking for the best restaurants to eat at. I truly believe this is a list of the best restaurants in London so I really hope this helps you! Make sure you let me know if you go to any of my recommendations. Let me know if you have any favourite restaurants in London!
