2. Knitwear - Good knitwear lasts a lifetime and looks great on him and her, it's so versatile. There is currently 50% off knitwear for him and her at All Saints and who doesn't love a premium hoodie, jumper or roll neck? Reiss also have 50% off, perfect for knitwear. I think it's such an easy thing to choose for someone as you just cannot go wrong with knitwear. Whether it's your Grandad, dad, brother or boyfriend, you cannot go wrong with a slick roll neck, in a neutral colour, it's something you can wear over and over again.
3. Raybans - Everyone loves sunglasses, whether it's for hitting the slopes, grabbing some sunshine or just whilst driving and I was excited to see Ray-Bans on sale online here - Ray-Bans are my most worn sunglasses and I think a nice pair of sunglasses is the perfect intro to designer without breaking the bank. It's also a lifelong gift. If you're wanting to buy someone sunglasses but maybe not go for Rayban, Net-A-Porter have gone into sale and they have Gucci etc in the sale.
4. Polaroid / Instant Camera - I adore my polaroid camera, so much so, I bought my boyfriend one last year. I think a polaroid camera is such a fun gift as you can print the photos off instantly and then make a gorgeous memory book full of them or stick it up on your wall. We never print iPhone photos off and I love the idea of a polaroid to capture those candid moments. It's also a fun thing to have on the table during Christmas time too! You can get good polaroid cameras online here and here and here.
5. Books - Affordable, useful and you can make them fun, quirky, educational! I love buying business books or one year my brother bought me The Secret and I honestly think it's one of the best gifts I've ever been given. Depending on the recipient, books like The Lean Start Up and The Four Hour Work Week are super motivating for budding entrepreneurs! I was in Milan this week and realised that a good book is such a good present, I found 'Calm The Fuck Down' by Sarah Knight and honestly, her books are SO good. I read her 'Life Changing Magic Of Giving A F*' years ago and I loved every moment but still learnt a lot too. Books are currently buy one, get one 50% off online here and there are SO many good ones. I also love cook books, my favourites are Deliciously Ella and The Body Coach. I found this great travel book set too which is currently discounted. You can find some gorgeous coffee table books online here and here too if you're going for an interior book! Lastly, ASOS sell so many books, I could honestly buy them all.
6. Experience - I love buying people experiences, if you’re struggling for inspiration because the person you’re buying for is so hard to buy for or maybe has ‘everything’ it’s always worth potentially planning an actual day somewhere, whether it's a restaurant they've always wanted to try, a spa they've always wanted to try or somewhere abroad they've always wanted to visit. Making memories is way more special than something you can physically open. Every year I buy my Mum a trip to Rudding Park (more on that later) with vouchers to dinners and breakfasts she can use and enjoy throughout the year. You can buy them a clue and wrap that up (we took my brother to New York for his birthday and we bought him an apple, a NY times magazine etc and wrapped it up with some dollars, he was so confused!). I just love making memories with people, I recently did a paid Ad on Instagram with Travelzoo and this blog post is not in anyway sponsored by them but I have spent hours scrolling on their site looking at their incredible experiences, which are all heavily discounted, things like dinner for two at the Ritz or luxurious spa trips, country manor stays are all on there so I'd definitely recommend checking that out. EM10 gets you discount (as I say, not sponsored just sharing the code from the AD I did on insta). I had to mention them organically on here. You could also do something like book out a cottage for your loved ones (we've booked one with Sykes Cottages later this year and I am SO excited - they have the most insane Cotswolds properties!) I also ADORE Rudding Park as most of you know, it's just my favourite spa and nothing would make me happier than a trip here for Christmas so this is also an amazing present you could buy someone. These are all things you can book quickly and easily online too so no issue if you've missed the postal dates for Christmas presents! An experience could also include something like a blow dry (Sassoon Leeds are my favourites) or a manicure (RagDoll Nails Leeds are the best).
I'm going into another paragraph here, but an experience that keeps giving is fitness, my dream Christmas present would be an endless supply of my favourite fitness classes, so that means Kobox classes and gym membership at David Lloyd. I love their Blaze classes and spins, just the best. I just don't think you can get much better than buying someone a gift that is actually useful and I use the gym 3-5x per week so if you know someone who also loves the gym, a top up of their favourite classes (or membership to a new, shiny gym - hi David Lloyd) is a dream gift.
7. Discounted Beauty Sets - When it comes to last minute, ASOS are your best friends, with their epic next day delivery. I always forget they stock beauty and gifts though too. I noticed that they have an amazing discount on lots of beauty sets and couldn't not talk about this Laura Mercier Christmas set, my Mum adores Laura Mercier and I've never seen their sets reduced before. They currently have 30% off beauty so if you're looking for a premium gift without the pricetag, thank me later.
8. Electronics - You can't beat useful electronics right? My top gifts would have to be a Dyson Hair Dryer (and online here too) a great idea as a present particularly for those with thick or long hair. It's one of the coolest hair dryers, if not the coolest on the market. Whilst we're on the topic of hair, ghd straighteners because my curling tongs just broke and you can't beat ghd, it made me realise how much I miss them now I don't have them. An electric toothbrush because I love my Philips electric toothbrush (kindly Ad gifted). I bought my boyfriend an electric toothbrush one Christmas and he's never looked back. Then, the obvious, headphones, whether it's Dre Beats, the new Sony WF 1000XM3 headphones (can confirm they're REALLY good - kindly Ad gifted) or Apple AirPods. I don't know anyone who doesn't use headphones! Last but not least, an Apple Watch or a Fitbit for people who love being organised or tracking things like their steps! My family all wear Fitbits and love them.

9. Jacket - I talk about my All Saints leather jacket all the time but it's such an easy, special, forever gift, plus they're on sale right now so it's the best time to buy. I'd recommend the Balfern leather jacket. I've had mine for YEARS. I think a jacket makes such a nice gift, one you can wear all year round, whether it's a Reiss jacket, an All Saints leather jacket, Moncler or Belstaff. I bought Matt a Belstaff jacket years ago and he loves it still to this day.
10. Leather Goods - Last but not least, a forever present, gorgeous leather accessories. I think Aspinal passport covers and the Aspinal travel wallet are the most perfect gifts (you can personalise them too) and they're currently in the sale. I once bought personalised travel tags for a friend who loved travelling too and they went down so well. If I'm stuck, I always look for wallets, my boyfriend sells beautifully made wallets on his website, www.roemenswear.com
Lots of love, Em x
