- Brownies... because who doesn't want brownies? For postal deliveries try The Good News Baker, I bought some for my friends and they were blown away, plus they come beautifully packaged and are from a small business, they can go through letterboxes too, so much love/testing goes into each flavour.
For my Yorkshire friends (but, they also do postal orders now too, yay) for slutty brownies, you've got The Savvy Baker - I bought some for my boyfriend for our anniversary and honestly, I ate the majority myself, incredible flavours. Brownies are such an indulgent and scrummy treat, a real way to brighten anyones day and a great stocking filler too.

- For biscuits, because why send a card when you can send personalised biscuits? I LOVE small business Biscuit Bunny Bakes, I sent 'I love you' to my Mum, birthday biscuits to my brother and biscuits to my friend who was going through a tough time, they're really thoughtful as they're fully personalised and delicious, again, supporting a small business - pop whatever note you wish on the biscuits and even choose your shape. Matt is Biscuiteers obsessed, you can always grab them online here too for epic, special, personalised biscuits too... gotta say, I am slightly obsessed with their Christmas Pudding biscuit, way more fun than a card right? If money was no object, I'd be getting the Paddington biscuit set as I love the film Paddington. A £10 biscuit is a really affordable but special way to say: Merry Christmas / I miss you / I'm thinking of you but it's quirky and thoughtful too.

- For fitness lovers or even just chocolate lovers in general, Misfits bars - vegan friendly chocolate bars but very low in everything too (low calorie, low sugar but high protein) and such a good snack - don't forget to use promo code EMS20 at Misfits for 20% discount! I buy my brother and Matt Misfits bars in bulk as they LOVE them so we stock them up in the house, plus, for anyone who is massively into fitness and health or loves making smoothies, grab their greens powder and protein powders too - finally a low sugar health brand! If you're looking for luxury chocolate without the premium price tag, try Rhythm108 choc cookies and Mylk praline bars (vegan friendly for any vegan gift recipients or gift recipients with dietary requirements and 46% less sugar too, you wouldn't know, they taste divine and are so luxurious too) my whole family are obsessed - I recommend the hazelnut cookies and the MYLK bar, it's like praline - they do amazing gift sets, promo code EMS20 gets you discount at Rhythm108 too.

- Obviously most people love all things chocolate, I will be buying some goodies from HotelChocolat for my family this year, my favourites are the gift boxes and the hot chocolate and you can use code EM10 for discount there too! I'll be getting my Mum and Matt's family an 'everything' box from HotelChocolat as I know they love the brand so much. I always throw a bar or 5 of Dairy Milk Chopped Nut in Matt's Christmas hamper, his favourite!  Don't miss my post on the best Hotel Chocolat Christmas gifts too, use EM10 for discount.

- For someone who likes baking, you could always treat them to my healthier, yummy baking ebook! 55 yummy recipes!

Food Hamper - I love the idea of putting together a huge hamper of yummy goodies for someone and honestly do this most years for friends and family, it's a foolproof gift that everyone loves and you can make it work to whatever budget you may have. I will choose all their favourite foodie things and put it all together in a hamper. For Matt's birthday I did him a hamper with coffee beans, healthy protein bars and more... so you can tailor it to the recipient. You can get a gorgeous, forever hamper here to put it all in and just fill it full of someones fave things.

If you really can't be bothered to make your own hamper up and order the individual things, the best Christmas hampers so far this year are Harvey Nichols, the winter warmer hamper is a dream come true (I simply adore the Harvey Nichols foodhall) or the Night Before Christmas hamper for nibbles! A Daylesford hamper would be my dream come true and for anyone else who loves Daylesford! Of course, Selfridges because they always do amazing hampers! I'm cheese obsessed so would LOVE this cheese and chutney hamper... or you could order this cheese set and put it in your very own hamper for less! As I say, I'll often buy luxury teas and chocolates from favourite sites (HN do lovely luxe teas and so do Harrods) and pop them in a wicker basket, online here

You could always go for a gift that keeps giving, like the Virgin Wines Wine Advent calendar or their gin version!

Food Platters - For something really special, send over a grazing platter or grazing plate to make someones entire month, it totally depends where you are based but I bought my family the most incredible grazing platters during a stay in the Cotswolds and it made SUCH a good gift. One of my favourite brands I discovered this year is called Berry and Brie and they do the most incredible grazing platters, delivered to the door, so you could send a Christmas tree full of cheese, or even a brunch box or afternoon tea box - check delivery radius as this is more for Southern gift recipients unfortunately but, if your recipient is within their radius, I highly recommend ordering some gorgeous gifts from this gorgeous family run business. It would make a lovely gift for a whole family or order something smaller for a friend! I wish this was closer to my family. Located in Surrey, I also discovered The Grazing House, imagine brownie boxes delivered to the door, afternoon tea boxes and the biggest grazing platters... perfect for any pre-Christmas nights in as a lovely gift to a loved one (and hopefully you live with them so you can share too!)

Food That Gives Back -
We all know I love eating out and we've continued to support local restaurants by getting a takeaway or take out coffee etc during this tough period...you could find local restaurants that have had to close and send someone a delivery from them as a gift or, see what their online offerings are, for example a local cafe near me has opened up as a deli/takeaway and does lovely cakes etc which would make a lovely gift - if you're wanting to order a cake and are in London, I highly recommend Radio Lamington, best cakes EVER and they give back to the NHS too. It would make a lovely delivery at someones door.

Voucher - I know it's often better to buy someone a physical gift but in todays climate, I think a voucher is a lovely gift as it gives the recipient something to look forward to but helps a business in the meantime, plus. depending on the voucher, the recipient can then choose something they're going to actually use. Voucherwise gift ideas, I'm talking nail bars/make up artists/brows/hair appointment/massage and even gym passes. I have been trying to buy vouchers for friends/family for RagDoll Nails and Sassoon Leeds this year - two of my favourite Yorkshire based salons. I always say a David Lloyd membership would be the dream gift (you can even get couples membership too, epic gift) - David Lloyd is so much more than a gym - it's a community, a family, an office space to work so it really is the best gift ideas... so there are lovely things like that too, which will really help businesses but also be really useful down the line... you can always see if you can buy personal training sessions too, my Mum bought me some personal training vouchers for my local David Lloyd and it was the best gift ever... you are helping personal trainers who may currently be out of work and it's such a useful gift for someone who's into fitness or wants to get into fitness! It's something people don't really like paying for themselves either. Personally I'd love a Deliveroo voucher as it means I can buy from local restaurants every weekend from the comfort of my own home and it's what I spend most of my money on haha...

FOODIE GIFTS: (my favourite kinda gifts) - There are certain things I fly through: cereal bars, green tea, Pukka herbal teas, oats etc. These are complete staples for me and one of the best gift ideas is just having a hamper full of my favourite, bulk staples put together. Someone loves baking? Stock them up on their favourite flours, yeast, baking utensils - you name it! Someone loves porridge? Make them up a perfect porridge hamper! Someone loves health foods? How about a health foods hamper. My friend LOVES tea, I made her a hamper of all her favourites! My current favourite teas are Pukka Nighttime and Chocolate Noir by Canton. One year my Mum bought me a years supply of Cadbury Oreo which lasted me like a month as I am obsessed ha, it's always fun to buy someone something they love so they *never* run out.

You also cannot go wrong with a lovely hamper full of luxury foods - my dream hamper is a Daylesford hamper... hint hint Santa! I love SelfridgesHarvey NicholsHarrods and Fortnum and Mason for hampers. To be honest, Selfridges foodie hampers are out of the world this year! I'm cheese obsessed so would LOVE this cheese and chutney hamper... or you could order this cheese set and put it in your very own hamper for less! As I say, I'll often buy luxury teas and chocolates from favourite sites (HN do lovely luxe teas and so do Harrods) and pop them in a wicker basket, online here and make my very own special hamper!

In my men's gift guide and my gift guide for everyone, I talked about food, a lot as I think it's such an easy but thoughtful and *day brightening* gift to give to anyone, so to recap some favourite foodie gift ideas: yummy letterbox brownies... for postal deliveries try The Good News Baker, I bought some for my friends and they were blown away, plus they come beautifully packaged and are from a small business, they can go through letterboxes too, so much love/testing goes into each flavour. They do gooey cookies too! I've talked about Sav a lot recently but wow, my TASTEBUDS are happy - for my Yorkshire friends (but, they also do postal orders now too, yay) for slutty brownies, you've got The Savvy Baker - I bought some for my boyfriend for our anniversary and honestly, I ate the majority myself, incredible flavours. Brownies are such an indulgent and scrummy treat, a real way to brighten anyones day and a great stocking filler too so definitely place an order.

For biscuits, because apparently sending personalised biscuits is my new fave thing to do: I LOVE small business Biscuit Bunny Bakes, I sent 'I love you' to my Mum, birthday biscuits to my brother and biscuits to my friend who was going through a tough time, they're really thoughtful as they're fully personalised and delicious, again, supporting a small business - pop whatever note you wish on the biscuits and even choose your shape. I just think it is the nicest gift idea to send something personalised. My boyfriend is fully Biscuiteers obsessed, you can always grab them online here too for epic, special, personalised biscuits too... gotta say, I am slightly obsessed with their Christmas Pudding biscuit, and I dream about the Paddington biscuit set as I love the film Paddington. A £10 biscuit is a really affordable but special way to say Merry Christmas!

If you're looking for luxury chocolate without the premium price tag, you must try Rhythm108 choc cookies and m*lk praline bars (they are also vegan friendly for any vegan gift recipients or gift recipients with dietary requirements) - they are 46% less sugar too but you wouldn't know, they taste divine and are so luxurious too...my whole family are obsessed with this gorgeous brand, their packaging means they make lovely gifts too without breaking the bank. I recommend the hazelnut cookies and the MYLK bar, it's like praline - they do amazing gift boxes and I will definitely be sending to friends this year, promo code EMS20 gets you discount at Rhythm108 too.

I have already bought some HotelChocolat for my family this year and for Matt's too, I love their salted caramel puddles the best!  For someone who likes baking, you could always treat them to my healthier, yummy baking ebook! 55 yummy recipes!

Food doesn't have to be quite as luxurious or indulgent, you could go for a fitness foodie hamper. I have stocked everyone in my family up with Misfits bars - vegan friendly chocolate bars but very low in everything too (low calorie, low sugar but high protein) and such a good snack - don't forget to use promo code EMS20 at Misfits for 20% discount (or EMS35 if you're reading on the 30th Nov!) Throw in some protein powders and super greens powders too to make the most special gift, add some peanut butter and you've got the dream hamper.

I love these personalised Santa sacks too to make hampers with!

BEAUTY GIFTS: Whether it's a top up of someones all time favourites or the chance to try a new cult-classic, I have got you covered with beauty gifts this Christmas. You can find my top beauty picks below.

LUXURY SKINCARE: Christmas gift sets are great and they're an epic opportunity to save some money but sometimes, products only come as individuals, usually when the product is luxury and Christmas is definitely the time to ask Santa for that! It could be something like Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Oil the perfect pre-sleep botanical oil to restore radiance L'Occitane Overnight Reset serum - a wonder serum - Elemis Cleansing Balm - the laziest but best product for quickly and efficiently removing all make up, or mix it up this year and switch it for the AHA Glow Cleansing Butter  - Don't forget Elemis Peptide4 if you're looking for another great night product that will rejuvenate the skin - Skin Ceuticals H.A Powerful Corrective Intensifier - this is something I want to have lined up so I never run out of it, a truly luxurious, powerful product and one of the best skincare brands out there, not forgetting the Skin Ceuticals Retinol which I currently add into my Midnight Recovery Oil every night! - If you're into natural serums, I've always been a sucker for Decleor, all their products are a dream - Anything with Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream on gets people excited, the packaging and the scientific products that actually work, just like magic - Drunk Elephant Minis - I recommend this every year but Drunk Elephant is one of my favourite skincare brands and this little set is the perfect way to discover epic skincare brand Drunk Elephant and is great for travels. - Lastly, anyone who's into skincare will tell you how good the Elizabeth Arden Vitamin C Capsules and Retinol Capsules, alongside the Arden Eight Hour Cream (multi-tasking genius product which I treat my family to every year - for everything from dry skin, cuticles, split ends, dry lips), these are the original holy grail of skincare capsules if you want to supercharge your skincare or of course.

BEAUTY GIFT SETS: For most of the above, so many of my favourite brands do epic gift sets in the run up to Christmas, meaning you can get more bang for your buck. I always rate Charlotte Tilbury for Christmas gifts, just the best magical gift sets - Don't forget The Kiehl’s gift sets which are always super festive and full of epic skincare too, for him and her plus really well priced - We stock up on L'Occitane, Almond range and Shea range - plus get my Grandma L'Occitane handcreams - a doctor friend of mine told me they're the best you can get! - A brand I am head over heels in love with is Ren, I LOVE their Atlantic Sea Kelp range, it smells like the ocean -  Origins, also do really well priced beauty gift sets of their top sellers too - The Elemis gift sets this year are out of this world, SO much goodness and so many savings -the Elizabeth Arden gift set includes the capsules and is well priced with extra goodies inside too! - I also like the Lancome gift sets, so beautiful - Decleor gift sets are amazing for skincare savings too, my family love Decleor and it's always worth waiting for their Christmas sets - A gift set I always buy people is ThisWorks... you cannot beat their sleep range because let's face it, we don't get enough sleep, it's really effective when you are struggling to sleep and such a calming product. Lastly, for a spa like experience at home, I really do love Rituals and their Happy Range.

When it comes to make up, I recommend top ups of favourites or something like a nice eye palette, this year the Urban Decay eye palettes are so affordable, a total dream and I always love a top up of my favourite Mac Cosmetics powder. You could also do a top up of the best Charlotte Tilbury foundation too! Don't forget BareMinerals, they do such good holiday gift sets and I always love their brushes.

For the gift that keeps giving, support independent brand
Rocca Box with a monthly subscription box of beauty goodies, the gift that keeps giving and someone can trial new beauty products every month from gorgeous brands.

To be honest, if you're buying beauty gift sets, I'd recommend Space NK - they by far have the nicest sets under one roof this year... Sol De Janerio is one of the nicest body brands and their gift set is so good this year. P.S, if you're buying any beauty gifts, I noticed that if you spend £100 at Space NK you get  £25 off!

CANDLES / PAMPER GIFTS: Ever since I got my new home, I have been the biggest candle lover. I absolutely adore Jo Malone (and online here too) and do a mega happy dance inside when I see their Christmas candles - not going to lie, it is basically my dream to own a HUGE Jo Malone 600g home candle) - you've obviously got Diptyque too, one of the leading luxurious candle brands (and hand washes too - I was gutted when my hand wash ran out). Don't forget my favourites at Molton Brown - their Christmas range reminds me of the roaring 60's and Great Gatbsy. On my Mum's Christmas list every year? Molton Brown handwash - it's a useful yet luxurious gift and honestly, buying a luxury hand wash set is always my go to, I feel like it goes down so well with everyone. Our favourite Molton Brown scents? Oudh Accord with it little pieces of gold, Orange and BergamotRhubarb and Rose... my personal favourite is The Molton Brown Coco and Sandalwood. I also love buying shower gels from Decleor for a luxe shower. Don't forget Elemis candles, I love their gold packaging this year. For something a little different, try the brand Byredo, I found them at Space NK and their aesthetic is such a dream, I'd love a set of their hand wash, candle and moisturiser, a beautiful brand. I've done a whole blog post on the best body moisturisers, as I think they make great gifts... I also love the Temple Spa body scrub followed by a Creme De Corps, whipped body creme - the ultimate moisturiser.

FRAGRANCE: I've gotta say, it's a rarity that I would buy myself perfume as I think it's nicer to receive it as a gift, or buy myself it pre-flight or pre-trip so that's my special travel scent for example. A fragrance is a perfect gift to receive as most people, like me, probably don't treat themselves to them. I have some favourite products and fragrances I have been wearing for years: Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf (and gift set here), the most magical brand and it is so close to my heart as my Mum spoils me with it every year so it really just screams Christmas to me. One of my favourite sensual scents (my Mum loves it too) is Armani Si (and gift set here), the perfect date night fragrance. Let's be honest, when it comes to fragrance there is no beating Jo Malone, I could go on forever but here are some of my top picks - Tuberose Angelica I get so many compliments on it - my night time scent, Earl Grey and Cucumber which is a lovely day time, scent, easy to wear - Jo Malone top seller would probably be Pomegranate Noir my bestie loves it so much! Jo Loves also does an amazing scent called Pomelo, from the creator of Jo Malone. We buy the Verbena range from L'Occitane for family friends who just adore this uplifting scent.

For a more affordable fragrance this year, go for All Saints fragrance (personal favourite is Sunset Riot) I actually saw their gift set is so affordable plus they're unisex too, they smell so good and look great in ant bathroom. For my longest school bestie and I, it wouldn't be Christmas without Juicy Couture, it's such a fun, vibrant brand and we have grown up being Juicy girls.
Remember, you can save lots of money by buying fragrance gift sets rather than singular fragrances (the best fragrance gift sets online herehere and here) - I love the Vera Wang Princess gift set, because I mean who doesn't want to feel like a princess at Christmas? You've also got the fun, vibrant Coach Dreams gift set which is affordable and reminds me of trips to California.

PRACTICAL BEAUTY HAMPER: My Momma is the queen of hampers and when I was studying I'd get a practical hamper full of daily favourites such as toothpaste, deodorant, Batiste dry shampoo and sometimes luxe faves like Redken and Pureology. It meant I'd never run out of my daily things and would always have things to grab! Such a thoughtful yet useful gift. The wicker hamper can then be used for storage after.

HAIR: Dyson Hair Dryer the best of the best when it comes to luxury haircare and I'm sure it's on everyones Christmas lists. It's so kind to the hair too, which is great as mine is pretty frazzled. You can't go wrong with
ghd straighteners either, this years Christmas range is their best, prettiest yet! I love the
ghd gift set this year and for a more affordable hair dryer, the Helios hairdryer is amazing. Don't forget the Dyson Airwrap, it has revolutionised my whole entire life, I dry and style my hair within minutes...

HOME GIFTS: As a new home owner, I am so excited about home gifts this year and at the top of this page you will see I already linked some favourites. For me, Anthropologie wins every single year, the personalised glassGold floral wine glass and Bon Appetite cheese board will make the most gorgeous gifts. H&M Home is also great for scandal inspired decor. I always think like I said earlier,
things like a Jo Malone soap or a Molton Brown handwash and hand lotion duo make great home gifts too. Another fave home gift,
Slip Silk - I LOVE their silk pillow cases and eye masks.
JEWELLERY: Like perfume, jewellery is something I don't really buy myself so often but it makes the dreamiest gift, I'm not gonna lie, my ultimate dream is to own a piece from Cartier. For more affordable jewellery gifts, Missoma do the most beautiful gold pieces, Monica Vinader do the most spectacular engraved pieces and of course,  Tiffany for dreamy heart shaped jewellery. I also found this gorgeous gold feather bangle on All Saints and think it would make a gorgeous gift... my friend also owns Arlo London if you're looking for an independent brand and unisex jewellery.

LUXURY GIFTS:
SELFRIDGES - By far my favourite place to buy gifts, I always find good gift ideas on their website.
I also bought myself £10 unlimited postage so I am definitely buying lots of goodies from here this year. / Burberry Scarf - My favourite forever piece in my wardrobe, a great intro to designer item without breaking the bank.  / All Saints Jacket - A great forever wardrobe piece, looks divine with pretty much every outfit and just gets better with time!  / Gucci loafers - I am in love with all my Gucci shoes, just one of my favourite brands for accessories. / Gucci belt - You might think it's overdone but I just love a Gucci belt I'd actually love one of the thinner ones or newer styles to add to my collection / Gucci bag - I totally hammered my Gucci Marmont bag into the ground, I am not a designer investor I am a designer user and abuser haha. I have always loved the Gucci Soho too - a classic. You cannot go wrong with a good pair of classic boots, my favourites are Stuart Weitzman, currently 40% off Stuart Weitzman boots here! I love the grey ones - with code BF40.

FITNESS:
Sweaty Betty base layers so great for walks, around the house or ski trips!
Nike who currently have a great sale on so it's well worth getting some trainers or leggings and of course GymShark and their epic seamless leggings... ps. even asos are great for gym kit and trainers now as well! Apple AirPods are discounted here too! I know people are majorly into their fitness devices, whether it's a smart watch, online here too!

I always say buying someone gym classes, personal training sessions or a gym membership is such a good gift. I've been a member of David Lloyd for years now and it is the best for classes, Blaze is the best class ever. My whole family are members. My Mum has bought me personal training sessions at David Lloyd for Christmas and it was the gift that keeps on giving. I always think, paying for someones personal training or gym membership is a very good gift.

VOUCHER: There are so many vouchers you can buy that will mean a lot to someone, how about nail vouchers, I love buying my Mum a voucher to visit my favourite salon RagDoll Nails. Or a m
assage or facial voucher - I've had epic treatments with brands such as Elemis or Decleor and I think after this year, we could all do with a facial or massage! I usually get my Mum an Elemis facial every year. Earlier this year I actually had an amazing SkinCeuticals facial too. I usually pay for my Mum to get her hair done at Sassoon Leeds too, our favourite hair salon, so you could always buy someone some of their favourite pamper treatments and organise a pamper day for them.

EXPERIENCE: I'm a sucker for an experience day or week which is why usually I will take Matt away as his Christmas present, rather than spending £1000 on gifts, I can take him to make forever memories. You don't have to spend loads, it could be a whirlwind picnic in the park, a local hike or a staycation. There are so many amazing experiences you can do that will be remembered forever but don't break the bank. Often, making memories like these are better than something you physically can open. It's my dream to take my family to stay at The Shard, we did this a few years ago but with The Savoy and they still talk about it to this day.

PHOTOBOOK: I made my Grandparents a photobook of memories and I think it's such a precious yet simple gift idea, it means so much - nowadays we don't always get our photos printed. How about printing them out from your iPhone and then making a travel memory book? You could always put it together with an Instax camera and then you can capture more memories together too!

SNUGGLY ITEMS: I LOVE anything lounge wear/comfy and think snuggly items make the most perfect gifts. Whether it's a Knitted cardiganDesmond and Dempsey pyjamas, Skims by Kim Kardashian this £15 soft set this cute little animal style fluffy romper... a hot water bottle cover, UGG slippers, these fluffy slippers I just don't think you can go wrong with cosy items.

As you can imagine, my mind is BURSTING with cute, fun Christmas gift ideas, I could go on and on and on. You can see lots more of my favourites below because let's be honest, visual guides are often easiest - simply click to shop!

Lots of love, Em x
