I'm not ready to say goodbye to Summer yet, I feel like we barely had a Summer, but the arrival of the new Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia, in the new fluted bottle, made September *almost* arriving a little bit sweeter. I feel like the perfect traditional Autumn scent is a balance between sweet and sexy and that's exactly what Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia is. It's a classic, easy to wear, every day scent - perfect for this time of year. It's no secret I adore Jo Malone, I would have every inch of my home covered in the brands wonderful scents if I could, but I just realised I have never reviewed the Jo Malone classic: Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia Cologne so today, in celebration of the most perfect new bottle and re-discovering one of Jo Malone's best, classic scents, I am doing exactly that. Of course, Jo Malone's new launches are always dreamy, but sometimes, classic is the way to go.

This is already a Jo Malone London favourite and was inspired by orchards awash with golden sunshine. Imagine the sensuous freshness of just-ripe pears wrapped in a bouquet of bright white freesias, their unmistakeable blooms radiating innocence and a delicate, cool touch. To me, this is the perfect end of Summer *but not ready to let go yet* into Autumn, scent. It reminds me of long Summer nights in the Cotswolds, it's warm, but not too hot and the golden light is perfection.

The new English Pear & Freesia collection includes a special-edition Cologne and Home Candle in a brand new elegant, fluted glass design, as well as an extra-large 500ml Body & Hand Wash. I most definitely need them all to match.
To conclude: Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia Cologne is the perfect every day scent, if you could bottle up golden light, I imagine this is what it would smell like - fresh, bright and radiant. The new bottle design? Their best yet.
