Every year when Christmas time comes around I get asked the all important question... Do you have any Christmas ideas for my brother, my boyfriend, my Dad, My Grandad or just men in general? The important answer? Yes, yes I do. Sit back, get this page bookmarked as I be adding gift ideas to my gift guide for him right up until Christmas. The great news? Black Friday sales have landed early so you can get a lot of this stuff discounted. I'd love it if you could  share this guide far and wide in the hopes that it may help someone else looking for present ideas! Okay, let's start, here's my huge guide with Christmas Gift Ideas For Him, what to buy the men in your life this Christmas! You can find gift ideas for her here.

Don't miss from last year: The Best Things To Buy On Black Friday and the best Black Friday promo codes in one list! If you are wanting to see what got reduced last time round.

{Food} - Food, oh baby food - who doesn't like food? My Grandpa, stepdad, step brother, brother, next door neighbour, boyfriend all do... you get the gist. Food is such an easy all round people pleaser and it's also a great gift idea if you're buying for a family or a couple too because let's be honest, they can share said food. Some of my favourite food related gifts? You could do an at-home-cheese board, make your own grazing platter or send someone a luxury grazing platter from a lovely independent company (I love Berry and Brie). Another independent company I love and a great postal gift: try The Good News Baker for out of this world brownies. I go wild for hampers and I've gotta say, lazily I buy people hampers most years because they're always show stopping but they're gifts that keep on giving - the hampers are reusable and well, they're not going to eat it all in one go {or maybe they are} but it's great for someone who maybe just got a new home or engaged too - double whammy gift. Selfridges hamper (the cheese hampers are a great shout - to be honest,  Selfridges have hampers for everyone, every taste and actually every price range too - my Grandad would be all over the cheddar and wine hamper) or if you want to go super luxe, go for a Harrods hamper. Of course, you can make your own personalised hamper too which I think is great, I usually make Matt a hamper with his favourite scents {Jo Malone Orange Bitters if you're wondering}, his favourite coffee beans {Grind ones are gorgeous}, protein bars {go Misfits - use code EMS20 for discount - I got you} and you can always grab a good bottle of alcohol, add in some snacks, and tadaaa - a personalised hamper, with all their favourite things in. I know Matt would freak with excitement if I got him any biscuit set from Biscuiteers as he is head over heels in love with that brand.

For something super quirky, get this Mince Pie advent calendar - I think I've gotta get this for my Grandad!

I recommend buying something like a personalised Santa sack and making it your own. Matt is happy as long as we've got some Cadbury Dairy Milk inside and some of his favourite HotelChocolat treats, I love the gingerbread men and the caramel puddles. We are also obsessed with luxury chocolate brand Laderach, they have a store in Westfield and Regent Street, you need to try the salted caramel - buy one for him and one for you and you will never look back.

If you're looking for a chocolatey gift that's a lil more healthy, I have the brand for you: think luxury Swiss chocolate, without the luxe price tag but vegan friendly and low in sugar - you need to get some Rhythm108 choc cookies and M'lk praline bars (they're vegan friendly for any vegan gift recipients or gift recipients with dietary requirements and 46% less sugar too, you wouldn't know, they taste divine and are so luxurious too!!! I am utterly in love with this brand) I highly recommend the hazelnut cookies and the MYLK bar - promo code EMS20 gets you discount at Rhythm108 too.

How about an IOWEYOU meal at his favourite restaurant? For my Gramps I usually get him a voucher for somewhere with yummy steak like Gaucho and for Matt, he adores STK. It's perfect because it's foodie but it's an experience too.

{Fragrance} -
I don't know many men who don't love a good scent and the best bit? we get to choose it. Matt's favourite scent every year since the day it launched is Jo Malone Orange Bitters (online here too) imagine an winter/autumn cocktail in a bottle - as with Jo Malone fragrances, it's unisex too and day to night so it means I can share it with him.  I don't know anyone who doesn't like it. My brother and Matt are both Molton Brown obsessed and often Matt will wear Molton Brown Costal Cypress it smells like adventure. My brother mixes his scents up but I know he used to adore the Guerlain L'Homme fragrance. Every year we tend to get Spicebomb by Viktor and Rolf  as a gift, the gift sets are usually great value too - online here and  here. I have loved All Saints fragrances since they launched and their new candles are absolutely stunning, they would look amazing on Matt's desk on by his bedside. All Saints fragrances are also unisex so you can both share but truly, I can't choose a favourite - the scents are divine. If you're looking for a cult fragrance any man is going to love, go for Bleu De Chanel  it's seen as the 'best mens fragrance' and of course, it's luxe. Speaking of luxe. Matt's dream mens gift would be Tom Ford from  Space NK - they stock so many luxe scents. If you are looking for Tom Ford in the sale, keep an eye out here for Christmas gift sets. You can get some ridiculously affordable mens fragrance steals online here if you're looking under £25.

{Underwear} - Buying men underwear is like buying men socks: boring but necessary and they'll appreciate it! You might judge me because it's cliche but if it's appreciated, why on earth not? Every single Christmas I buy Matt Calvin Klein underwear - it's a gift he gets wear out of every single day so it's super useful. Hang on for the sale because Coggles is usually good when it comes to getting discount on Calvin Klein briefs. You can currently get 23% off Calvin Klein boxers here. If you just want to scrap CK underwear all together this year and really shock him, grab some Tom Ford boxers - they often go on sale. I also think these Paul Smith and Ralph Lauren ones would make a great gift too. You can also get them online here. Socks and boxers are dull yet practical, Matt loves Adidas and Nike socks and I tend to grab him them in bulk and then they last him all year long!

{Male Grooming} - I love buying people bits they're going to use day in, day out and men like to pamper too. My Gramps loves his luxury Decleor body wash {he's got great taste, just because he's a Grandpa doesn't mean he can't enjoy life luxuries and trust me, he knows all about them!} - for Matt and my brother I always stock up on L'Occitane Mens, not only do I adore their eco and charity work, but their products truly are out of this world - amazing scents and kind to the skin too. and of course, they're always stocked up on essentials like Nivea deodorant {I always buy it in bulk because it's one of those things we always run out of} makes a better gift then too as it's something they use every day.

Toothbrush - I bought my brother a luxe Oral B toothbrush for his birthday and I've never looked back, a toothbrush is a great gift because not only is it techie, but a toothbrush is such a good essential item and makes such a good present too. It's something everyone needs and everyone uses - even Gramps would love a luxe lil tooth brush in his life. I do a lot of research into tooth brushes and I ended up buying my brother the Oral B 9000 P.S, Selfridges 20% off will land soon and that means discounted tech! You can also find Oral B toothbrushes here on sale.

Here are the grooming products I personally get the men in my life, whether it's boyfriend, brother, step dad, Grandpa or next doors cat: Molton Brown Black Peppercorn body wash, some Molton Brown Re-charge Black Pepper Sport Muscle Soak or Elemis Aching Muscle Soak (I buy this every single year for the runners in my family - it wouldn't be Christmas without it). The Molton Brown gift sets this year, as always are utterly divine but I think I might buy all the men in my life the festive Molton Brown cracker because it will look good on the Christmas table but it's full of great travel minis too.

An affordable stocking filler? Get an exfoliating soap, invigorating, affordable but SO good. I cannot tell you how good they smell. Or may I tempt you with this Black Pepper bauble? I'm going to get one for all the men in my family, glorious scent and it's more fun and festive that it comes in bauble form!

Even my Grandad loves his skincare, they of course love Clinique Mens (great gift sets) and I usually buy my brother a new Decleor Oil every year or get him a top up of the mother of all moisturisers: Kiehl's Ultra Facial cream - lightweight but great for ski trips / cold climates and super hydrating.  I really love the Elemis men's gift sets every single year too - usually they come in good travel cases, perfect for someone who likes to travel and their men's range is really good.  My brother uses the Elemis Shave Gel. This year I've seen some amazing men's gift sets from L'Occitane too, they actually do really gorgeous scents too. My brother and step dad would love the shaving gift set. I always find a really fun gift to buy men is an Eight Hour Cream it's a great talking point because there are SO many uses for it. It's basically a multi-tasking everything balm, it really is a hero, magic product for everyone. There's a reason it's been going so long. Naturally, you also cannot go wrong with The Kiehl’s gift sets too!

Dyson Hair Dryer and online here too

Dyson hairdryer, Dyson Airwrap, ghds - Who doesn't love a useful tech gift? If you want something more ahem, fun than a toothbrush, look no further {although there is room for both in our lives haha}. Hair products are not just for women, my brother and boyfriend use my Dyson more than I do and Matt can't travel without his trusty ghds. A great gift idea? Get someone a lovely ghd gift set, or just stock up on some shiny new ghd straighteners and of course, their new Helios hairdryer is amazing for him and her and the sets are always so pretty. Ghds are the gift that keep on giving because they will last a lifetime, seriously. Keep an eye on asos too for discounted black Friday ghd sales too.

It would be rude to talk about hair and not discuss mighty King Dyson. A tech lovers dream. I'm obsessed with the science behind Dyson, both my brother and Matt adore theirs, Dyson gifts are very special and I've got to say, the navy blue colour way this year is my favourite yet. Looks like I need an upgrade! Don't forget the Dyson Airwrap, it truly is revolutionary - Matt uses it every day to make that quiff of his smooth. They now do it in a gorgeous navy colour way too which I actually much prefer to the pink - time to trade mine in?!

Essential Grooming Kit - £20.00 RRP | WORTH OVER £36 - If you're looking for an amazing set for the man in your life, or a great secret Santa gift idea then grab this set from Clinique. I can't quite believe the price of this set, plus it comes in such a gorgeous toiletries bag which is perfect for a gym bag, a staycation, a vacation or just to have by the side of the sink. This set is so versatile and such a great price. Keep an eye out as right now you can get 20% off the entire site too.

This set includes:

Clinique For MenTM Charcoal Face Wash 30ml tube Clinique For MenTM Aloe Shave Gel 41ml can Clinique For MenTM Maximum Hydrator
72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator 15ml Clinique For MenTM Maximum Hydrator Eye 96-Hour Hydro-Filler Concentrate 5ml
Clinique For MenTM Face Scrub 15ml

If the 5 piece Essential Grooming Kit doesn't fit the bill, try the £20 Mens Washbag Essentials Kit instead! I feel like these look and feel as if they're way more than £20.  I also spotted this mens grooming set with 50% off which is a total bargain.

Great Skin for Him - £45.00 RRP | WORTH OVER £77 - If you fancy a bigger set for him with bigger goodies inside, go for this. Matt already stole thee Maximum Hydrator which says a lot! This is a complete and ultimate skincare / grooming set for him, I would gift it to my boyfriend, step dad, grandad or brother. It really is one of those useful sets that will genuinely get used. Again, the set comes with an amazing travel bag, I think this alone is worth it as I always suggest buying toiletry bags as a Christmas gift, it makes such a useful gift.

This set includes:

Clinique For Men Maximum Hydrator 72-Hour Auto- Replenishing Hydrator 50ml
Clinique For Men Maximum Hydrator Eye 96-Hour Hydro-Filler Concentrate 15ml
Cliniq For Men Charcoal Face Wash 50ml
Clinique For Men Face Scrub 30ml

{Male Haircare} - I think a nice grooming gift is buying a voucher for Grandad/Step-Dad/Boyfriend/Partner, whoever it may be, to a treatment of their choice - it could be a hair cut, a shave, a massage. Book them in and when they get to reception ensure you've taken care of the bill, or, get them a voucher. I often do this for my Mum at our hair salon actually. You're supporting the beauty industry but also giving someone the best gift of all: pampering and some much needed me-time!

I live in a family full of hair lovers and Redken and Fudge are always at the top of the list. Matt buys Fudge hairspray in bulk.

{Trainers or footwear} - Who doesn't love trainers? If you can get a good enough pair, you're looking at a versatile forever gift and lots of brownie points. You could go for something practical and sporty like a good pair of Nike trainers for the gym/day to day use - maybe someone in your family is training for a marathon, some special trainers would be a lovely gift to give them that boost. If you want to go fashion, Matt loves his Airforce trainers. Or you could go wild with designer trainers, Gucci trainers (my personal fave for men) or go for Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen (my brother loves his McQueens). If you want to go premium high street without breaking the bank, All Saints have such a nice selection of men's shoes - generally in the sale too, their white leather trainers are gorgeous and I also bought Matt some suede Chelsea boots too once which I may have ruined with purple shampoo so I owe him a new pair. I always think it's nice and sentimental to buy a pair of smart leather shoes, for Matt's birthday I treated him to some luxe Church's shoes and he loves them but they're so precious, they're only for special occasions only and erm, in our house move I may have also ruined these ones too with purple shampoo! I need to buy Matt lots of new shoes this year basically.

Shop the above sales here

{Fun But Useful Gifts/Gadgets} - Lots of fun, kitchen based gifts which actually come inhandy (a big selection here) but I'm thinking this mini terracotta table top pizza oven is a steal and such a fun gift idea, every year I say  a toastie maker is a great gift - particularly for a student (cheese and beans inside a toastie = yes please - toastie maker here too), a pie maker (then you can both use it together for Sunday roast, how epic?!) or a pasta maker which is super fun - I have my eyes on a pizza oven this year, you don't have to just make pizzas, you can make other things too, basically anything you can put in an oven. I personally really want an Ooni one {online here too} but you can also now get the Delavita ovens which my friends Josie and Charlie have and not gonna lie, they've sold it to me!

{Coffee Machine} - Our coffee machine is Matt's pride and joy but we need to get a smaller one - a good coffee machine is a lifetime investment and if it's pretty too, it will suit your kitchen aesthetic haha. There are SO many good ones out there. I'd suggest looking here as they'll go to 20% off. If you're looking for a different gift for a coffee lover, how about some fancy coffee mugs? We love the glass ones... you could always get someone coffee beans, I've already stocked Matt up on some as a lovely Christmas gift so they last him all year. Matt always says a 1kg bag is never enough so I always try stock him up with premium coffee beans all year round. We like Grind and I often buy him ones from local coffee shops around London and Leeds so he can try different flavours. I also like the idea of buying someone a Keepcup, so they can make their coffee in the morning and take it with them.

{Useful Tech}: My family are very techy - we love all things tech and also, tech things make a great Christmas Day gift too. We love all things Apple  and anything to do with camera tech. I love browsing John Lewis for quirky tech bits - currently they have a sale on. But if I want to go luxe, I check out the Selfridges tech section. I think things like a shaver or electric toothbrush - online here make great gifts, or a new camera - online here, an Apple Watch - online here  - or even an Amazon Alexa {we love ours}, or a MacBook Pro (online here) or an iPad (online here). Every year this goes on my gift guide but I LOVE the Aeroskull home speakers. Maybe someone has some travels coming up or just likes to capture the moment: I think these polaroid gifts are so special and fun too. Of course, don't forget Apple AirPods - we got my brother some for his birthday and he's never looked back although I personally use Belkin ones as they're sooo fab and have so much charge. You could also go for Dr Dre Beats which I actually think are cool too.

{Educational} - You could always buy something educational like a course for SEO, Google Analytics, personal training - whatever the man in your life may be into. How about a cooking class? I'd love to do this, a cooking class at my favourite venue with all my favourite people! Matt loves Masterchef so would love this.

{Comfort} - Because who doesn't love comfortable luxury? I bought Matt some men's Ugg slippers and they haven't left his feet, such a good gift - also online here and currently on sale hereYou can't beat a cosy dressing gown too - this is my favourite dressing gown to exist {online here} and it's in the sale - love these ones  and you can't go wrong with The White Company robes too. Ralph Lauren - All Saints and of course, Nike do nice luxe joggers too, I bought Matt some gorgeous joggers and he never takes them off so more of those this year from me!

{Bags} - If you buy someone a good bag, you're usually buying them a forever gift. Budget dependent, you could go for a designer bag Burberry one or a Gucci backpack - if you're looking for something more reasonable you could get a Roe Menswear leather backpack *and you will be supporting a small business too!* - Ted Baker also do lovely leather holdalls.  I really like leather holdalls like this one and these ones too. I think holdalls are great for staycays or even the gym, you could go designer holdall, I ADORE this Gucci one or this dreamy duffle bagIf you want to buy him something designer without breaking the bank, there are lovely little intro to designer items you can get which make a lovely forever gift, such as a designer card holder (you can get card holders online herehere and here) for something more affordable go for one made from top quality leather like Aspinal or Ted BakerOf course, you can also get designer tees too which tend to be more affordable than leather goods (I like Gucci or Givenchy) or how about a timeless, Burberry scarf?  I love Gucci belts, so you could grab him a Gucci belt because I think the smaller one looks so good on guys! If he isn't team Gucci, there are some great men's belts here too.

{Fitness}-  I know most people are on their fitness hype and personally for me, buying me gym classes or PT sessions would be the gift that kept giving. Nike trainers and fitness tracking watches are of course great material gifts for gym lovers, or, someone who's wanting to get into the gym but I always think something like a gym membership (I am personally a member of David Lloyd and I have been for years it doubles up as an office and gym - it would be the gift that keeps on giving), or you could gift someone personal training sessions or boxing classes for example... or buy them a new gym bag stocked full of all the gym kit and accessories. You could always go luxe and get this designer cap for the sports luxe look. If the recipient is into the gym, how about gym clothes or gym trainers? You've got Gymshark too, whether it's loungewear at home, outdoor running kit, gym tracksuit or running trainers.

{Menswear} - I love buying versatile menswear, those wardrobe staples that will work throughout the seasons and stay in trend like an All Saints leather jacket Reiss jacketReiss rollneck, forever jackets such as Moncler or Belstaff. I am utterly obsessed with All Saints knitwear,  I adore this merino wool roll neck - it would look good on your Grandpa, Dad, boyfriend or brother! These are all pieces that are simply timeless. If in doubt, I buy a Reiss voucher for my brother so he can choose himself!

{Jewellery} - Arlo Jewellery If you are wanting to buy someone jewellery this year, look no further than unisex jewellery brand Arlo London - they do amazing 925 sterling silver pieces, signet rings and beautiful pendants - really well priced for the quality too and helping an independent brand, great for lovely mens jewellery. For luxury mens jewellery, I highly recommend Monica Vinader, they do the most stunning bracelets and you can engrave them too making them super special.

{Roe Menswear} -
If you're looking to buy luxury menswear and want to support an independently owned brand then look no further than luxury menswear Roe. I have said it a lot but I have personally travelled across the world with him looking for the highest quality fabrics. I describe the quality as a Reiss and Burberry mix and just think every single piece is divine. I've watched the items be crafted in the factories (made in Britain) and I am so impressed with each item. You could always start with an introduction to the brand by going for a more affordable leather wallet, a backpack or a luxurious quality t-shirt, or just go full luxe with their trench coats. Anyone who is into mens fashion will love Roe menswear.

{Drinks} - You cannot beat a nice bottle of alcohol, it's dependent on the persons tastes of course but you'll often find me recommending  Johnnie WalkerGrey Goose or Hendricks as they always go down well in my household! You can use code EM10 for discount on alcohol gifts on Clink Spirits, a lovely new premium spirit site too if you fancy something different.  I've always wanted personalised champagne bottle  I think that's a lovely way to make a beautiful bottle special.  If you're looking to help a small business, look at Kiwi Bottles, handpainted bottles of dreams. My Grandpa and Matt both LOVE wine so last year I bought lots of special wine from Harrods online {saved me carrying it!} and you could make a bottle of wine really special by adding some special glasses in with the items too. I love this decanter for his favourite whisky. If you wanted to send wine with a purpose, look no further than The Hidden Sea, they have a clear purpose: one wine, one mission, to remove plastic from the worlds oceans. Gorgeous bottles, premium wines but they're saving the planet too.

{Experiences} - We've already talked about grooming / pamper experiences but how about something lovely like taking someone out for a picnic, a facial, to a luxe cinema like The Every Man. The list is endless, when it comes to experiences or I OWE YOUs as a gift, think of things like a wine tasting class, pottery making (I think this would be such a fun date), a sourdough course, a cake making day, cooking class, pizza making... fun things you can do together, whether it's with your Dad or your boyfriend! You could look at luxury hotels nearby for a staycay or, book a vaycay! I often buy my Mum a voucher to stay somewhere lovely. You could do something like buy him a cleaner, a gardener or a service? We use Fantastic Services for cleaning and honestly it would be the dreamiest gift if someone bought me a house keeper for a few weeks!
