Tis my favourite season! VALENTINES DAY! or, GALENTINES if you prefer! Whether you're looking for a gift for your husband, boyfriend, partner, girlfriend, dog, bestie, yourself or, someone you've just been dating for a little while, hopefully you'll find this gift guide useful.

Yes yes, I know Valentines day is a commercialised holiday and we should tell people we love them everyday - that goes without saying but honestly, I see no issue in a day celebrating love, it's actually cute in my opinion haha. I often see it as GALentines day and always send my besties something too for Valentines, it's an easy way to brighten a tough year.

Bookmark this as I will keep adding to it.

Don't miss:

Waffles from my ebook

Food Baby Food - My go to Valentines Day gift is food, always will be, always has been. It's something you can do homemade, super luxurious or, if you just want a funny quirky gift. I don't know anyone who doesn't like receiving a foodie gift. Valentine's Day for me is an excuse for food and food is the way to my heart.

Home Made - Every year I start the day with homemade treats like pancakes or crumpets in heart shapes and then make Matt my famous chocolate peanut butter cups (you can get my peanut butter cup recipe in my ebook) - you can even buy heart shaped silicone baking trays here and here to make them fit for the occasion. I am a sucker for anything heart shaped so of course,  heart shaped waffles or pancakes for breakfast (I got my waffle maker online here, such a good gift in itself)... you could always buy some cute stencils to make your loved ones morning coffee heart shaped on top... easy, cute affordable.

Personalised chocolate and Cadbury personalised here

Date Night In - I think it's nice to support restaurants whilst they are open after a turbulent few years but if you fancy a date night in, Matt and I always go to Wholefoods and buy lots of our favourite things for a special night in. You could order from your local restaurant / deli / store and have a special evening in. Think out of the box, you could do something really cute at home like a fondue cheese night, pizza making night... I'd recommend this fondue kit, you could have a ski style evening or just go with chocolate strawberries!

Amazing Food Gifts - If your Valentine likes eggs, I think this personalised gift is EGGCELLENT, would be so cute for Valentines morning. If you don't want to break the bank on a pizza oven, this is a really affordable table top pizza oven at home. This one is also a nice option. For Christmas I got an Ooni Pizza Oven and here - hello who doesn't want to be hosting pizza parties? Apparently you can cook everything in them, anything that would go into an oven... so if you wanted a luxury gift, this is for you.

Fun Home Gifts - There are endless options with homeware gifts for him or her  (a big selection of fun kitchen / home tech here) just like the pizza maker above you could also do something like a toastie maker (cheese and beans inside a toastie  - toastie maker here too), a pasta maker (then you can both use it together and have a pasta night) or to be honest, I'd like a portable blenderYou could get a popcorn machine for movie nights or push the boat out and get a Smeg coffee machine - affordable, small but mighty. I also love De'Longhi onesYou could also go for beautiful glass coffee mugs...or a Keepcup for those cold walks! For something aesthetic, the  Alessi White Toaster was one of my favourite Christmas gifts! You also can't go wrong with Soho Home glasses - I just love everything they sell.

The way to Matt's heart is Eggslut so not going to lie, I often order him an Eggslut as a present! Most amazing eatery and brings back memories of our LA trips.

Yummy Goals - You guys probably know I am a sucker for grazing platters; you could make your own grazing platter {I did this for Matt's birthday once and he LOVED IT} or you could send someone a luxury grazing platter from a lovely independent company (I love Berry and Brie). Berry and Brie are a gorgeous family run company and they currently have such a gorgeous Valentines range available, you can go for the cake box, a brunch box, an entire grazing platter or, the way to my heart: CHEESE. Mako is amazing and can cater to all your needs so definitely look into this if you're looking to do something special and mind-blowingly gorgeous!

Postal Gifts - Another independent company I love and a great postal gift: try The Good News Baker for out of this world gooey brownies

If you're looking for gooey NYC style cookies, Easter egg brownies with heaven inside or just an amazing hamper full of luxury treats {Matt got his Mum one from Christmas} then please check out ThatPantry and ThatCake, they do postal orders all over the UK and sell the most amazing artisan pasta, breadsticks, chutneys but also, THE BEST COOKIES AND BROWNIES! You can make such a special hamper via their website and know it's coming from a family business too.

Hamper Goals - I am obsessed with hampers, I think the make the best gift, whether it's a hamper full of fitness faves, beauty faves or food - there are so many options. They're gifts that keep on giving - the hampers are reusable and usually yummy too: Selfridges hamper (the cheese hampers are a great shout - to be honest,  Selfridges have hampers for everyone, every taste and actually every price range too - I'm all over the cheddar and wine hamper) or if you want to go super luxe, go for a Harrods hamper.  If I'm making Matt a hamper it would usually have his favourite coffee beans, protein bars {Misfits - use code EMS20 for discount - I got you} or Matt also LOVES Grenade shakes and this year I will be adding in golf balls because golf is his one true love. Don't forget to throw in some peanut butter if it's a healthy hamper, ManiLife is my favourite of all time.

For a bespoke luxury hamper,  (I highly recommend this hamper as you can keep it forever, this wicker hamper is nice too and can then be used for storage after.) then fill it with handpicked goodies for your loved one. I think doing something like adding Harrods teasluxury biscuits and a Le Creuset coffee mug is so special. You can really mix and match and make a gorgeous gift.

Luxury Hampers - I love hampers, whether you go local or go luxe, any excuse for a food hamper from Harrods,  Selfridges or Harvey Nichols as they are so special and always have good ones. The Breakfast Club gift hamper is a goodie for under £50 too. My boyfriend would love the Man's Best Friend hamper. For me? The Red and Prossecco hamper please. If you're specifically wanting a wicker hamper - great because they last forever and look great for storing items in the home too, I love this Chocolate Lovers hamper. These are great if you want to send something incredibly luxurious.

Chocolate - For Christmas I got Matt some chocolate golf balls from Lindt and he was obsessed. He is also Biscuiteers obsessed and they do such fun biscuits. Matt is always happy with some  Cadbury Dairy Milk inside and some of his favourite HotelChocolat treats too. His favourite premium chocolate brand right now is Laderach {and mine too - get the salted caramel}. If in doubt: go for some Guerlain shells, I don't know anyone who doesn't love them!

For luxury chocolate lovers, you've also got Pierre Marcolini who always do amazing seasonal gifts, this year it's about one of my favourite fruits, strawberries! Honouring strawberries in all variations; you can send a box of hearts with the new spiced strawberry and iconic raspberry and caramel hearts. For the white chocolate lovers send a sweet tablet with delicately dried fruit strawberry pieces {this is a bit of me!}. If your love is nuts about nuts, gift the new ‘CÅ“ur à Croquer’, a handmade heart with crisp Piedmont hazelnuts and toasted Japanese sesame paired with a light biscuit and a hazelnut gianotti on top, with dark Grand Cru Cuba Sao-Tomé chocolate. I love the passion that goes into Pierre Marcolini.

HOT CHOCOLATE LOVERS - For a hot chocolate, mocha or even coffee lover, check out the Velvetiser. This machine is revolutionary for making hot chocolates. I am also obsessed with Knoops - my favourite hot chocolate cafe, they actually sell a range of items online too and their hot chocolate buttons are out of this world. You can actually buy their hot chocolate on prime and you could use it in the Velvetiser if you already have one. Great idea to stock someone up on lovely big marshmallows and hot chocolate. You could get this cute little bear mug to go with it too and make a gift set.

HEALTHIER CHOCOLATE - If you're looking for a chocolatey gift that's a lil more on the healthy side but also super premium, this is a good one for anyone with allergies too: Swiss chocolate, without the luxe price tag but vegan friendly and low in sugar - you need to get some Rhythm108 choc cookies and M'lk praline bars (they're vegan friendly and 46% less sugar too), you wouldn't know, they taste divine and are so luxurious too!!! I am utterly in love with this brand) I highly recommend the hazelnut cookies and the MYLK bar - promo code EMS20 gets you discount at Rhythm108 too.

OUT FOR DINNER - As much as staying in is nice, I think going out for dinner on Valentine's is nice too. So many places have special Valentine's menus. We've been looking at the Four Seasons Trinity as their Japanese restaurant Mei Ume is doing a Valentines menu, we love Asian fusion food. There's no better gift than a memorable food experience! It doesn't have to be dinner though, you could go out for a lovely afternoon tea instead or even find a biscuit decorating class for example if you wanted to do something fun.

Personalised Treats - When it comes to personalised treats (I'm a sucker for anything personalised), I discovered lovely small business Biscuit Bunny Bakes and I am forever sending people personalised biscuits. I think it's such an affordable but special gift - who needs a card when you can send a cookie card? I've been sending these over the last year and think it would make a lovely Valentines treat. I also LOVE the idea of these personalised bottles of Moet. Infact, I am obsessed with it. There's also a lovely brand I found called Kiwi Bottles, the wonderful owner hand paints and decorates bottles of your favourite drink - making the absolute perfect forever gift. You can also get personalised gin, gorgeous brand Slingsby gin are doing their rhubarb gin in personalised form - perfect for Valentines or GALentines!

Cake - Who doesn't want cake? I know I've spoken about ThatCake who literally deliver amazing cake, but, for anyone into sponge cake, one of my favourite restaurants, ever {Ziggy Green yum} Daisy Green launched their Radio Lamington delivery during lockdown, for every lamington bought, they donate to our wonderful frontline staff. They have already donated 10's of thousands of lamingtons to frontline workers. Lamingtons are an Aussie speciality, think of the fluffiest Victoria sponge, squidgy and moist, so good you could eat the whole cake to yourself, the most Instagrammable - beautiful cake to exist (style AND substance - rare, I know). They come beautifully gift wrapped and would make the most perfect gift plus you can order for nationwide delivery! I drool over these cakes. I saw Lola's cupcakes are also doing the most amazing valentines cakes, postal brownies and cupcakes too, plus they do vegan ones. In my opinion, the best cupcakes in London.

Drinks - Every year I like to buy Matt a few bottles of very special, red wine.  Harvey Nichols have some amazing wine gift sets and I think this Red Wine lover set is a good shout.  If your Valentine prefers rose wine, how about stocking up on some Whispering Angel? You'll often find me recommending  Johnnie WalkerGrey Goose or Hendricks as they always go down well in my house! If you're not fancying alcohol, how about some Atopia? The lovely, low alcohol spirit, in the most beautiful bottle. I highly recommend Clink, code EMSHEL should get you £10 off orders but they sell some really cool spirits.

A Trip - I am obsessed with travelling, who isn't?! Whether it's a staycay, an IOWEYOU or, a trip for later in the year, I think a nice trip of course makes the luxury gift of dreams. It could be a staycation (we recently did one at the Royal Lancaster London in their suite and it was incredible - highly recommend - they have some AMAZING suite offers on right now), or somewhere luxurious like the Four Seasons Trinity, make that dinner or afternoon tea even better by staying over too, with a prime location in The City of London and the dreamiest perfect spa inside, you can have a spa day of dreams. You can support a lovely hotel and book a fancy suite, or book a log cabin in the country side, a glass igloo or a cottage in the Cotswolds... or go all out and go to the Maldives. When it comes to Yorkshire, we are head over heels in love with the West Park Harrogate, their food is utterly divine. One of my favourite British hotels? Cliveden House - it's so opulent. I dream of going back there! I also had the most insane stay in a Chewton Glenn tree house and would love to go back, remember: it's more expensive during Valentine's do you could always book it for later in the year and give a card on Valentine's Day with the experience. I got my family a trip to a gorgeous Cotswolds house via Sykes Cottages, I gave them the present in December but we are going in February.
Luxury Gifts - You might be someone who likes to do the fun, quirky things like food and cheese and there's nothing wrong with that, but some people do love to push the boat out. I know so many v lucky people get Gucci belts for Valentines Day, it's a timeless, forever, wardrobe staple ad one I always recommend. Here are some of my ultimate luxury gift ideas if you're wanting to spoil someone with material goods.

My Burberry Scarf still remains my favourite present {you can usually get good offers on Burberry scarves here too}. I recommend forever items like a Burberry scarf, Gucci belt or a designer card holder. If you're wanting a nice forever piece without breaking the bank, I always think a wallet is a really nice gift. I love a designer card holder (you can get card holders online herehere and here too). You can get womens cardholders here and mens here.  I also LOVE this YSL clutch. Budget dependent, you could buy a designer bag:  Burberry or a Gucci backpack - if you're looking for something more reasonable you could get a Roe Menswear leather backpack *and support a small business too!* -  I really like leather holdalls like this one and these ones too. I think holdalls are great for staycays or even the gym, you could go designer holdall, I ADORE this Gucci one or this dreamy duffle bag. For her: I have always loved the Gucci Soho too it's an absolute classic.   I totally hammered my Gucci Marmont bag into the ground but I love her so much.

If you'd prefer to support a small business, I'd highly recommend the Roe Menswear wallet (super affordable but beautifully made) or a for a luxury leather good like a leather passport cover or the Aspinal travel wallet, super luxury without breaking the bank - thoughtful, useful gifts.

Pamper Gifts - February is the perfect time to stock up on some luxury pampering gifts, you could top someone up on their favourites or get something lovely like a new candle, a bath oil, a face mask or their favourite skin serum top up (you could run your loved one a dreamy, candle lit bath with a hot chocolate - it's the little things that are actually the most special). I love buying Matt things he will use day in, day out like the Decleor body wash  and anything from L'Occitane Mens - amazing scents and kind to the skin too. I usually buy him things in bulk like Nivea deodorant the gift that keeps giving.

Here are the grooming products I personally buy for Matt year after year: Molton Brown Black Peppercorn body wash, some Molton Brown Re-charge Black Pepper Sport Muscle Soak or Elemis Aching Muscle Soak. The Molton Brown gift setsClinique Mens and Elemis men's gift sets are usually great - they come in good travel cases, perfect for someone who likes to travel and their men's range is really good.  I always see amazing gift sets from L'Occitane too.

For her when it comes to Molton Brown, The Molton Brown Coco and Sandalwood is my favourite scent.

Matt is hair obsessed so I usually buy him Redken and Fudge.

For something affordable, I really rate this exfoliating soapMatt loves a top of of the Eight Hour Cream it's a great talking point because there are SO many uses for it. It's basically a multi-tasking everything balm, it really is a hero, magic product for everyone. There's a reason it's been going so long. For Kiehl's Ultra Facial cream - lightweight but great for ski trips / cold climates and super hydrating.

When it comes to luxury beauty, I love Jo Malone (and online here and here too - Diptyque are one of my favourites for luxurious candles and of course, Molton Brown for everything from candles to bath products and muscle soaks - the perfect unisex pamper brand - I love their handwash sets. I don't think you can go wrong with a luxury bath oil or candle as a very special gift. If you're looking for an opulent body moisturiser, read my the best body moisturisers blog post. You cannot go wrong with Kiehl's Creme De Corps, whipped body creme though.  I also highly recommend looking at Elemis, for him or her, they do some amazing moisturisers. If you're looking for seriously good holy grail beauty products definitely check out my top beauty items of the last year as it will give you some good ideas.

If you're looking to support a small business candle brand, look no further than Nooraa - their candles are
organic, cruelty free and vegan. They have so many incredible scents.

If you're looking for a romantic candle, go for the famous Malin+Goetz Otto candle, in its gorgeous pink box - this will seriously get you brownie points. I first discovered this brand in NYC so for me, it has a sentimental value as well as being one of the most beautiful wellbeing brands. I don't think you can go wrong with a gorgeous candle. The gift that keeps giving because they last for so long if they're good quality ones.

For the gift that keeps giving, support independent beauty brand RoccaBox with a monthly subscription box of beauty goodies, the gift that keeps giving and someone can trial new beauty products every month from gorgeous brands! Plus lots of my favourites are inside.

QUICK FIRE BEST BEAUTY PRODUCTS - Some quick fire best beauty products I love if you're looking for some easy quick recommendations Midnight Recovery Oil - Olaplex for my hair {endless supply please world} - Skinceuticals retinol -  Elemis Cleansing Balm - the lazy girls answer to glowing skin - Take The Day Off by Clinique, I am hooked, it removes even eye make up and is just a cult favourite -  Skin Ceuticals H.A Powerful Corrective Intensifier - If I could have one product and it never run out then it would be this, so hydrating - Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream range, I don't know anyone who doesn't love the brand! They really are magic - Elizabeth Arden Vitamin C Capsules and Retinol Capsules,  perfect for travelling.

Fragrances - Fragrance is a cliche gift but it's a gift that keeps giving because you wouldn't really treat yourself to a fragrance, it's such a winner for Valentines day. In my opinion you can never go wrong with Jo Malone.  For him, for her - they truly are just the most luxurious, dreamy brand. Jo Malone Orange Bitters (online here too) is Matt's holy grail, imagine an winter/autumn cocktail in a bottle. It really is divine. My personal favourite is Tuberose Angelica. I also need their Valentine's Candle - the aesthetics are just gorgeous.

Other favourite fragrances include Spicebomb by Viktor and Rolf  a cult favourite - online here and  here.  I have been wearing Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf (and gift set here) for years - a magical brand - I don't know anyone who doesn't love it, and Mum and I adore Armani Si (and gift set here) too. Armani always gets me compliments. I have also loved All Saints fragrances since they launched, they do divine unisex candles now too.

When it comes to luxury fragrance, you've also got Tom Ford, Space NK stock so many luxe scents. Matt would love to unbox a Tom Ford. Tom Ford Ombre Leather gift set or the gorgeous Tom Ford Noir Extreme gift set too would be goodies. You can get some really affordable mens fragrance steals online here if you're looking under £25. I love the smell of Molton Brown Costal Cypress for a refreshing costal scent and for a delicious men's scent, try  Guerlain L'Homme. Apparently Bleu De Chanel   is the worlds best mens fragrance, if you've smelt it I know you'll agree with me. Truly all of the fragrances I've mentioned are delicious so I hope this helps you.

Self-care - Buy the gift of self care and support a small business, it could be a voucher for their favourite barbers, hair salon {Sassoon Leeds for me}, nail salon {London Grace in London - Rag Doll nails in Leeds - Blush Blow Parsons Green is epic too}, beauty salon, blow dries or even a massage and then they can use it in the future. I LOVE the app Urban for a massage and you can use my referral code for £20 off, you could book a lovely couples massage as a gift, they even come to your house! Light some candles and have a magical experience. My dream gift is a massage to my house to be honest!

How about a special facial? I recently went for a facial with hero skincare queen, Nichola Joss at the Mandarin Oriental, using Meder Beauty. She has a residency there and does her bespoke facials. Booking in for a holistic yet scientific treatment is the gift that keeps giving. My skin was glowing, my body felt relaxed and I will be telling people about it for months to come. This is such a lovely, thoughtful gift.

I also highly recommend Dr Sarah Tonks at The Lovely Clinic for all things skin, you could book someone in for a consultation there if you know they're wanting to see her for a treatment.

Photo Gifts - I adore the idea of a photo gift. Whether it's a personalised mug, a personalised book or just a scrap book.

Technology - I think tech gifts are such good ones. I always look at things like speakers - JBL, such good speakers - I LOVE the Aeroskull home speakersI love the idea of an Instant Camera to capture memories on travels and then of course, useful things like  Apple AirPods , a Dyson Hair Dryer (you’ll never look back and you can steal it too, just the best of the best!!!), an Apple Watch or smart watchonline here too! I absolutely LOVE my Apple Watch. I think a new toothbrush makes a great forever gift, I bought the Oral B 9000 a few years ago and it was such a good gift. You can also find Oral B toothbrushes here on sale.

You could always get someone a lovely ghd gift set, or just stock up on some shiny new ghd straighteners and of course, their Helios hairdryer

Clothes - I love stocking Matt up on clothes. I think buying versatile pieces is a great idea. For a small business, you can buy from British made menswear brand Roemenswear - they do amazing jackets but amazing high quality daily t-shirts too if you want something more affordable.

DISCOUNT ON MENSWEAR - Don't forget TM Lewin, we fell in love with their items over Christmas, they do amazing shirts and suits but for the man who isn't wearing suits, go for the flannel shirts and the jumpers - they are divine and such good quality. You can get 10% discount on TM Lewin with promo code EM10

These are a little more obvious but great for wardrobe staple gifts: Reiss jacket, Reiss rollneck or All Saints leather jacket. I love a forever jacket like an All Saints, Moncler or BelstaffOr for the trainer lover, a pair of Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen or just a good pair of Nike trainers for the gym/day to day use. It's nice to get someone something they will use and love.

Gym - On the topic of trainers {
 Nike trainers for the win - you can get Men's Revolution here for 30% off}
, Sweaty Betty base layers are amazing for future ski trips or hikes! Stock your Valentine up on high quality
Nike for those runs and walks together... well worth getting some trainers or leggings when in the sale and of course GymShark and their epic seamless leggings. I got Matt some lovely joggers from there too, he wears them most days.
You could always go luxe and get this designer cap for the sports luxe look.

How about buying someone some PT vouchers or some classes at their studio? I think this is such a good idea, I absolutely LOVE so many boutique gyms in London but the classes are expensive, I would love someone to buy me Karve classes {reformer pilates in Kensington!} for example! Matt and I go to David Lloyd, I am utterly obsessed with it, I work from there and I work out there. I love their spin classes and their Blaze classes, for a really useful gift you could buy a couples membership or, like I say, if you're already a member, buy some tennis lessons / PT sessions. It really is a good gift for someone who likes fitness or is looking to get into it.

Essentials - Buying underwear and socks sounds so boring but Matt asks for them every year. It's cliche but appreciated. I buy Matt Calvin Klein underwear - it's a gift he gets wear out of every single day so it's super useful. You can currently get 23% off Calvin Klein boxers here. If you want something a bit more special, go for Tom Ford boxers - they often go on sale. I also think these Paul Smith and Ralph Lauren ones would make a great gift too. You can also get them online here. Socks and boxers are dull yet practical, Matt loves Adidas and Nike socks and I tend to grab him them in bulk and then they last him all year long! You can get Nike socks here too.
Lounge Wear - Who doesn't want cute pyjamas or loungewear? I think it's such a nice self care gift. The White Company dressing gowns are wonderful and to be honest, anything from The White Company would make me happy.  I got the most gorgeous fluffy affordable slippers, not from TWC but so well priced and would highly recommend.  I bought Matt some men's Ugg slippers and they haven't left his feet, such a good gift - also online here and sometimes on sale here.

Shop Monica Vinader via my link for 20% off at checkout

Jewellery - Jewellery is a bit like fragrance, cliche but it works on Valentines. It doesn't have to be heart shaped (or it can be, go wild) but I do love a dainty piece of jewellery as a reminder.  For mens 925 sterling silver, buy from Arlo Jewellery - they do amazing 925 sterling silver pieces, signet rings and beautiful pendants - really well priced for the quality too and helping an independent brand, great for mens. For all things gemstone, gold, pearl, I highly recommend Monica Vinader - if you buy via my link you get 20% off at checkout. Everything comes wrapped beautifully, the packaging is divine, the pieces are forever pieces and they do the most stunning bracelets and you can engrave them too making them super special.  Missoma do the most beautiful gold pieces too. Of course, Tiffany if you want super luxe, who doesn't want to unwrap a Tiffany? If we are going majorly premium, I wouldn't turn down a  Cartier piece.

Flowers - I think flowers are a lovely gift all year round but I do love them during Valentine's Day. I'm into my pink roses rather than red though. It doesn't matter where you are in the world, you can send flowers. I always rate Marks And Spencer -I always order flowers from here and Selfridges for premium flower delivery.

Homeware - It's no surprise I am obsessed with homeware! Anthropologie win every single year, they do so many amazing items and currently have an amazing sale on. H&M Home is also always great for scandi inspired decor. To be honest, me, the heart shaped lover: I always go for heart shaped items, such as this heart shaped wooden chopping board, or this heart print tea towel set.
A really good luxurious present? You also can't go wrong with
Slip Silk - I LOVE their silk pillow cases and eye masks. I also got a heated throw, best gift ever, a
heated sheepskin style throw as a gift? yes please.

Books - Books are such a useful gift. I absolutely ADORE The Secret, it literally changed my life. It could be a business book, an autobiography or a cookbook - or a self-help book... Amongst my favourites for gifts are Deliciously Ella and The Body Coach. I always find Urban Outfitters great for quirky / fun books, the art of sleeping. I am obsessed with coffee table books, I get so many questions about my Soho House booksI love them so much, you can get them at Amazon (love this Louis Vuitton one), I love this YSL coffee table book too!

Time - The most important gift: time! Give your time and your love, whether it's on the day itself, the week in the run up - running a bath together, going on a walk together, cooking together. For me, this year I am going to be treating Matt to some cute gifts, but I am also going to be ensuring we block some time out for a lovely hotel stay and lots of walking - phone down, screen off and just soaking up that time together. It's hard when life gets busy but it's so important!

I think a really nice idea is to pay for something like a cleaner, a gardener or a service? We use Fantastic Services for cleaning and honestly it would be the dreamiest gift if someone bought me a house keeper for a few weeks! It would be utter bliss!
