If you read my recent review of the Jo Malone Roses for Valentine's Day collection, you'll probably know I am a Jo Malone superfan. Everything about the brand makes me excited; if I need to feel calm - they have a scent for that; if I am going to a special occasion - they have a scent for that. If I want to relive a memory; their scents allow me to do that. My home is covered in Jo Malone, not only do they smell incredible but they look incredible too. The new Sardinian Summer range is no exception, with the most stunning bottles and stunning scents. Sit down because it's time to take a look at the brand new Jo Malone Blossoms collection. This would also make the most perfect Mother's Day gift.

The Jo Malone Blossoms Collection is the home to two limited edition scents, encapsulating an Italian Summer. Last Summer, I was lucky enough to visit Sicily and I fell in love. Whilst I haven't visited Sardinia, I have visited many other parts of Italy and every time, I fall more and more in love. I love scents with a story or a scent that can take me back to a moment. I will often choose a scent to take on trips with me so that when I come back, that scent will always remind me of that trip. The Blossoms collection by Jo Malone is designed to bring back those moments on sunbathed shored whilst waves wash over the golden sands, lazy days with breezy evenings and that dreamy, Italian sunshine.
There are two scents in the collection, Sea Daffodil and Bitter Mandarin. The bottles are beautiful: timeless, elegant and inspired by sea-washed pebbles. Every cap is unique and varies for each individual purchase. Just like the Medetteranian, they're naturally beautiful.
Jo Malone Bitter Mandarin Cologne Review - Bitter Mandarin smells as if someone bottled up a Mediterranean summer evening; imagine citrus trees {oh I love that scent} on Italian streets, whilst you're sat with a glass of Aperol Spritz. Mandarin is a vibrant scent but it's deepend here with amber {giving it warmth} and precious orris - this is designed to give it a zesty allure. On the first spray, I get a soft smell of oranges but it then deepens and I smell the amber coming through, turning this into more of a sensual but still citrusy and I'd say a medium depth, Summer evening fragrance. For me, this is almost a fruity scent, but gently so, it's not sickly sweet, it's deep and zesty - fruity enough that it reminds me of Italian Summers but deep enough to be perfect for a date night... or perfect to meet your Italian husband whilst sipping on a boat in the Med. If you like fruity, zesty and citrus scents, this is the Summer fragrance for you.
Jo Malone Sea Daffodil Cologne Review - My favourite of the Jo Malone Blossoms Collection: The Sea Daffodil. The Jo Malone Sea Daffodil Cologne is a coastal scent, my favourite kind for Summer. Imagine rare white sea daffodils {that light, floral scent} mixed with the sands of Southern Italy. Then, a pinch of ylang ylang {I personally find this incredibly calming} and the warmth of vanilla and then one of my favourite fragrance notes ever: creamy sandalwood. To me, it smells like a sea breeze - fresh, lightweight, when I just dip my toes into the salty water for the first time, with a hint of fresh lily. It's crisp, gentle and airy, I would absolutely love my home to smell like this - it's homely, crisp, relaxing. The vanilla comes through softly but it's still deep enough to stand out on the skin. I know people are going to ask me what I'm wearing when I wear this one. A new favourite for me for sure.
