Ad - Hello everyone - I have something super exciting to share with you today! But first - how is the week before Christmas going? Are we all stocked up on gifts? If not then please checkout all my gift guides linked below but particularly my last minute gift guide which I've only just uploaded. So if you're panicking - there's no need! I (hope) I can get you all sorted. Today, it's time for a review of the CurrentBody LED Light Therapy Mask, if you are wondering if an LED mask is worth it, look no further.
But... gifting aside, I've been having a look back on my 2022 and something that has really improved this year is my skincare. I haven't changed all that much but something I have incorporated is the CurrentBody LED Light Therapy Mask. When I say my complexion is flawless... It gives the most incredible results. Kourtney Kardashian and Olivia Coleman were both seen using it before the Oscars 2022 (I LOVE Olivia Coleman!).
To get the best results from an LED mask, you really need to incorporate it as a step into your skin care routine. It's recommend that you use it 5 times a week, for 10 minutes at a time. From the first use I noticed a huge difference! By the end of the week my skin was so soft and I was glowing! Straight away I knew this was going to be a part of my 2022 favourites.
As someone who's day encompasses a lot of moving around, the masks versatility was incredibly helpful. It doesn't need to be plugged in which means I can use it wherever. I normally do it while I'm cooking dinner or first thing in the morning when I'm sorting out all our laundry! I was even able to take it travelling with me easily - the mask is made from medical-grade silicone, which means it's really lightweight and doesn't have a hard shell. So I was able to pop into my suitcase easily. Because of the material it's made from, it means the mask is one size fits all! Therefore, whatever your face shape you can guarantee that all the LED lights will cover your face the way they're meant too.
Finally, as I was winding down last night getting ready to watch the new season of Emily In Paris who do I spot rocking the mask in the first scene?! Lily Collins! So really if it's good enough for Emily, it's a complete must for your 2023 skincare routine.
I wanted to do some research into the mask and why it was making my skin look and feel so good. The mask uses both Red and Near-Infared light. This means with the Red light the mask is stimulating collagen production, calms redness and evens out your skin. Near-Infared penetrates beneath the skins surface to boost circulation, improve blood flow and increases oxygen to the skins cells.
