I hope you are all doing well.
Today I wanted to do a big post on the must have shoe of the season... Ballet Flats. I've been seeing them all over TikTok so it's safe to say they are very much back in style.
We've seen so many iterations come out recently - from the Miu Miu Satin Ballet Flats, that recently we've seen Bella Hadid rocking... To of course the classic Chanel Ballet Flats. I love how elegant and girly they are, plus I find them so easy to style!
In this post I've put together all of my top picks of ballet flats, from my favourite designer finds to more affordable high street dupes. I hope you all find this useful!
Designer
Chanel
Of course the ultimate designer pair of ballet flats is the Chanel ones. These are iconic and have been ever since they were released in 1986. You can't get more classic than a pair of these. That being said, it's almost impossible to find them in store at the moment. It's always worth calling your nearest Chanel Boutique ahead to double check and see if they have them and then ask to reserve a pair so you're able to go try on. My advice would be to get there as early as possible, before they sell out during the day! I've also seen that they've just released them in the most gorgeous pastel colours. Utterly perfect for this Summer!
I've linked a few that I have found on Vestiaire and The RealReal - both very reliable and trustworthy re-sell platforms.
Miu Miu
The style icon Bella Hadid has recently been seen wearing the Miu Miu ballet flats and so obviously everybody under the sun has decided that they now need a pair. I LOVE these shoes, I think they're so adorable. Completely impractical - I mean pink satin is a recipe for disaster, but they can easily be car to restaurant shoes!
They do also come in a black leather version, so if you want something more a bit more substantial then these would be the better option.

Ferragamo
Another classic ballet flat, these have been a staple in workwear wardrobes for years. I love the black patent version, they go with any outfit.
They're such a classy shoe and would last a lifetime. Plus they're really comfy!

Chloe
As an everyday ballet flat, I think the Chloe version are the best. They're no fuss and so easy to slip on and off. Although I wouldn't class them as a smart ballet flat, they're so perfect as an everyday shoe.

Prada
Prada have thrown their hat in the ring with their version of ballet flats. They're very much in line with Prada's recent collection, a bit more sporty and trendy. But I think they're so cool!

Mid-Range
Sam Edelman
Sam Edelman are such a good brand if you don't want to pay designer prices but still want really good quality. They do a tonne of good dupes and are always on top of the newest designs! I have a few pairs of shoes from here and they've lasted me for years! I love their version of the ballet flats. Simple, classic and cute.

Porte and Paire
I love Porte and Paire as a mid range brand, they do such classic staples. Their version of Ballet Flats is literally perfect. Their nude is the most gorgeous shade and there's no frills - everything you need from a classic ballet flat.

Tory Burch
If you're looking for something that is a bite more than a plain flat, then Tory Burch have got you covered. With their logo stamped on the front in a big gold badge, they had something a little bit extra to the classic flat! These are such a classic wardrobe staple, you really can't go wrong.

High Street
New Look
New look! When I was 18 and just started University, New Look used to be my go to for shoes. They were always so comfy. Which is why I'm absolutely certain that these ballet flats will be super comfortable! If you're running around the city and need something that you're able to wear everyday, but something that can still be passed as smart then these are the ones.

Accessorize
These are such a good dupe for the Chanel ballet flats and literally a fraction of the cost! Nude and black are such great colours so these would be able to go with any outfit.

Marks and Spencer
Last but certainly not least, Marks and Spencer! They have a variety of ballet flats available, not just the classic ones that I've chosen with the little bow. My Mum loves Marks and Spencer and she told me she had a few pairs of their shoes and they have lasted her for so long! Definitely worth going to have a look at.

I hope that I've given you all enough options in this list. I always try and include different items whether they're the more expensive options or ones that are more budget friendly! What's great about ballet flats is there are so many out there, that we're almost spoilt for choice!
Please don't hesitate to have a chat with me over on @emshelx! Whether you've bought a pair of ballet flats that I've recommended or you've already got a pair I'd love to hear all about it.
Now, let's make like Bella Hadid and get ourselves a pair of Ballet Flats!
Lots of love, Em x
