Hi guys, back again with another advent calendar review! I feel like this year you can just call me the Queen of Advent Calendars seeing as I seem to be reviewing them all.

Charlotte Tilbury 2023 Advent Calendar Review
The Charlotte Tilbury advent calendar is one of the most sought after advent calendars every year. Mostly because as we all know Charlotte Tilbury produces some of the best quality makeup and skincare that exists at the moment. But also it gives you an opportunity to try out all the products that you may have never tried before - and I guarantee that some of those products would have 100% gone viral within the year (FYI there are those products in this advent calendar!)
The products included in this years advent calendar are brilliant and I'm so pleased that I was able to get my hands on them and try them. But I do have to say... As beautiful as the packaging is and the quality of the products I am disappointed that this isn't a full advent calendar, I'd have loved to see 25 doors!
Like we've seen with previous brands, you either get 24 or 25 items to try and test which in my eyes is a proper advent calendar! This year Charlotte Tilbury have narrowed that down to 12. Which I may make excuses for if they were full sized but alas, not all of them are.
It's a shame as I love Charlotte Tilbury so much and I hate criticising them, it comes from a place of love. I'd say this is more of a special Charlotte Tilbury Christmas chest, vs a traditional advent calendar.

The packaging of the Charlotte Tilbury 2023 Advent Calendar
The packaging for the Charlotte Tilbury Advent Calendar is gorgeous this year! Marketed as a 'Lucky Chest of Beauty Secrets' it comes in the signature red Tilbury colour and is literally a chest! Each product is hidden behind a drawer with a little gem doorknob that you pull out to reveal your surprise! They have thought of every detail and it is most definitely a gorgeous sight! You can open up the top and store jewellery etc in there which I think is a lovely touch.
How much is the Charlotte Tilbury Advent Calendar for 2023?
This year the Charlotte Tilbury Advent Calendar will set you back £160 - which is the cheapest advent calendar I have reviewed so far. However, that does take into account that you are only receiving 12 products... In terms of what it's worth to buy all the products individually that will cost you £223. So yes, you will be making a save by buying the advent calendar outright.

Right now! Charlotte Tilbury are very likely to sell out of their advent calendar for 2023 so it's worth picking one up as soon as you an before they all go!

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream - A small version of the magic cream, this I was so pleased about as I am pretty much loyal to the Magic Cream as my moisturiser the whole year through. For me, I find it so hydrating for my skin and it soaks in so well and leaves my face feeling so soft. I also love the scent -smells like pure luxury to me!
Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Wand Blush in Pillow Talk - I have been wanting to try one of these for the longest time and I'm so glad it came in Pillow Talk as that's probably my most used shade from Charlotte Tilbury (whether that's lip or cheeks!)
Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath in Walk of Shame - Honestly I feel like the Charlotte Tilbury gods made this advent calendar just for me because this is the exact shade of lip I wear! And I get through about 4 a year so it's great for me to have another one!

How does the Charlotte Tilbury Advent Calendar compare to other brands?
I mean, right off the bat it has the least products of the others I have reviewed so far.. But I do have to say that it does mean you are getting the best of the best in this advent calendar. There are no filler products here. Every product is a 10/10 and you'll get full use out of. I guess with that in mind it's not the worse thing in the world that it's technically half an advent calendar... so instead let's see this as a magic chest.
