This is an adorable bag which is also known as the Tabby Pillow, the Coach Tabby Pillow or the Coach Pillow bag. My love for the American brand Coach started with the revival of the Coach Tabby Shoulder Bag. No sooner had I bought that, then Coach started to tease me with seemingly endless releases of new bags and I was instantly hooked when I saw the Coach Tabby Pillow. I love the way that chic meets cheeky with the Coach Pillow and while unique in look it still delivers all the benefits of the more structured bag. So what is the Coach Tabby Pillow Shoulder Bag and why is it so popular?
You're probably wondering why is the Coach Tabby bag so popular, I think it's to do with it's chic yet laidback style and also it's versatility and of course - how well priced it is for a designer bag. The Coach Tabby bag is a multi-wear bag with both style and comfort, looking like a cloud like / distinctive pillow. It has a puffy and padded like design which makes it soft to the touch and super chic and quirky aesthetically. The iconic signature C logo on the front of the bag either comes in gold tone hardware or a covered hardware, both which look stylish and sophisticated.

The Coach Tabby Pillow 26 is made from the softest nappa leather making it feel so soft and beautiful to the touch. It truly is a smooth work of art.

Does the Coach Pillow come in different sizes?
Yes, it does and it is the sizing of Coach bags that tends to confuse people. I'm the proud owner of the larger one which is the Coach Pillow 26 (H: 15cm x W: 26cm x D: 75cm) in beige and also the small Coach Pillow 18 (H: 11cm x W: 18cm x D: 5cm). Both sizes have their own advantages. The larger one is great if you need to carry more stuff with you and the smaller one is still roomy enough to carry plenty but is great if you want something more petite looking. Both are great for travel and will take you day to night. The Coach Pillow bag is less structured than the original Coach Tabby bag, meaning there's more flexibility to add extra things here and it's more roomy than the original.

Is there much room in the Coach Pillow Shoulder Bag?
The larger sized bag has 2 roomy open compartments plus a middle zipped compartment inside and I can fit so much in this bag including my iPhone, headphones, external charger, cable, card wallet, make up, house key, small keys, sun glasses and vlogging camera plus receipts and other items. I get asked all the time if an iPhone 15 Pro Max can fit inside the Coach Pillow bag and it absolutely can in the larger one.
The smaller Coach Pillow bag is obviously less roomy and doesn't have the zip pocket but does still have useful compartments. I can fit my keys, a smaller iPhone, AirPods, external charger and cable, a couple of make up items and my house keys. It's expandable so is very forgiving and handy when you're popping out and don't need an entire bag full of things but need to take some bits with you. Let me assure you, it is so much better than one of the super mini bags that only just accommodates a lipstick!

What Straps Does the Coach Tabby Pillow Come With?
Both the Coach Tabby Pillow Shoulder Bag 26 and the Coach Tabby Pillow 18 come complete with an adjustable shoulder strap and cross body strap which is super helpful. I think this means you can take the Coach Pillow bag from day to night and really dress it up or down which is always a bonus.

What colours does the Coach Tabby Pillow come in?
The Tabby Pillow 26 comes in numerous colours including Deep Berry, Ivory, Black, Light Blue and Aqua.
The Tabby Pillow 18 comes in a large range of different colours including, lilac, pink, blue, green, ivory, black, ice purple and a range of two-tone colours.
I haven't listed all colours here because new ones crop up all the time. Let's just say there is a colour for everyone in this gorgeous range and I find the bolder the colour, the more likely it is to go on sale too.
How should I style the Coach Pillow bag?
The Coach Tabby Pillow Shoulder Bag is super versatile which means I can pair it with so many outfits. It can be paired with jeans, a basic tee, leggings and ankle boots or trainers for a chic and casual look and worn cross body.
Equally I'll often wear over my shoulder with tailored trousers, a smart shirt and flats. It compliments all of my dresses with or without heels too. It cuts across seasons looking great in autumn and winter with neutrals and will look great in spring and summer too. It switches between laid-back and sophisticated seamlessly. It gives me real 90's vibes and suits all are groups from Gen X, Boomers through to Y2K.
The Coach Pillow can also be used as a clutch as the handles are completely detachable - we love a multiuse / functional designer bag.

Is the Coach Pillow durable?
Proceed with caution would be my advice with this bag. It is super strong and well made and so are the handles. However, my word of caution is in relation to the super soft and beautiful nappa leather. As it is so soft, it could be scratched so do keep it away from sharp items to keep it safe. This did not put me off buying two of them though, I just take extra care. Also, as with all bags, light colours can be easily marked so do take care. The darker colours show marks less. I would always spray with a leather protectant spray first and I do find the leather of the Coach bags wipes and cleans so easily!
What type of closure does the Coach Tabby Pillow have?
Both the Pillow 26 and 18 fasten with a snap closure which is super easy and convenient.

How much is the Coach Tabby Pillow Shoulder Bag?
The Coach Tabby Pillow 26 RRP is £550 although it I don't normally see it at that price. It varies in price a lot and can usually be found around the £330 - £350 price point, particularly in darker colours. Coach Tabby Pillow Shoulder Bag 26 on sale!
The Coach Tabby Pillow 18 varies too and I have seen it between £279 and £320.
For the type of luxury and quality I regard this bag as very good value for money - mine are still looking good after 2 years of constant use. I always recommend the Coach Tabby bags for people looking for a great intro to designer piece or a great designer bag under £500. Nowadays it's rare to find a designer bag for under £1000 and this ticks both the under £500 and under £1000 boxes.
