Hey guys, today I have to give a huge shoutout to one of my favourite products ever... the Skinceuticals Ha Intensifier. I remember seeing a model with the glowiest skin swear by this product a few years ago and I have been hooked ever since.
I’ve been interested in skincare routines and products since I was very young because my Nanna was a very early adopter of the basic cleanse, tone and moisturise skin care routine. She was absolutely rigorous with that routine for her whole life and encouraged me to do the same and I’m so glad she did! We bonded over skincare routines from a very early age and I’m convinced that she would have been a beauty blogger had there been such a thing back in her day. If you're looking for a review of SkinCeuticals HA Intensifier and wondering is SkinCeuticals worth the money? you've come to the right place. I think SkinCeuticals HA Intensifier is one of the products I run out of {and therefore use} the absolute most.

Growing up with my Nanna and Mum I had two very different skincare experiences. My Nanna was obsessed with cleanse, tone and moisturise with both Clinique and Clarins as her die hard brands. My Mum on the other hand encouraged me in to a good skin care routine because she had suffered from acne from a very young age and didn’t ever feel she found a good skin care routine that suited her extremely oily skin and fell back on the dreaded soap and water. Of course little did Mum know back then that stripping her skin of natural oils was not helpful and she did need hydration but it’s not easy with acne prone skin to feel good when applying more moisture!
While Mum’s acne and oiliness have improved with age she now unbelievably suffers from very dry skin and I’m thankful that I’ve been able to introduce her to some lovely products to help with that. One of Mum’s favourite things to do now is to pamper herself night and day with facial products, she basks in it after years of acne and she now has a great skincare routine. She loves using SkinCeuticals HA Intensifier and we've all noticed a visible difference since she started - her skin is definitely smoother and plumper.
I've been very lucky in the beauty industry to talk to some of the most highly acclaimed skin experts and one thing I’ve found to be universally popular across all groups of people is hyaluronic acid and both my Mum and I are massive fans. In the same way as my body feels hydrated after drinking a large glass of water, my face feels so hydrated after using products with hyaluronic acid - it’s like a big drink for the skin. I have been obsessed with the SkinCeuticals HA intensifier for years now and felt I really needed to give this powerful product a full review.
While it’s a complex subject, at it’s most simplest I understand that hyaluronic acid is a substance that naturally occurs in almost every single tissue in our bodies most particularly our skin, joints and even our eyes. It’s therefore absolutely critical to the elasticity and moisture content within our skin and it's renowned for its ability to attract and retain moisture which results in plumper looking and more hydrated skin. Set against that background, I’m on a mission to make sure I keep my hyaluronic acid levels topped up as much as possible!
Like Mum I too love SkinCeuticals Hyaluronic Acid (HA) intensifier, and I'm here to tell you more about it today.
What is SkinCeuticals HA Intensifier?
It's a potent corrective serum designed to increase the skin's hyaluronic acid levels.
How does SkinCeuticals HA Intensifier work?
The secret behind this serum lies within the innovative formula. By combining hyaluronic acid with proxylane (a patented ingredient that supports the skin's matrix) and botanical extracts such as purple rice and liquorice root, this serum enhances the skin's hyaluronic acid levels which improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and loss of facial volume not to mention providing long lasting hydration - what's not to love about all of this!
What skin types is SkinCeuticals HA Intensifier suitable for?
The great news is that it's suitable for all skin types. Whether you're problem is dryness, fine lines, loss of firmness or all of the above this serum can help. It's particularly beneficial for those of us who want to boost hydration levels and look more radiant - yes please!
How should SkinCeuticals HA Intensifier be used?
For best results, it should be used twice a day, morning and evening after thoroughly cleansing and toning the skin. I simply massage 4 - 6 drops in to my face, nice and chest (please avoid your eyes). Always follow up with a moisturiser and sunscreen and follow this routine consistently and I promise you won't look back.
How much is SkinCeuticals HA Intensifier?
The SkinCeuticals HA intensifier is £115 for 30ml.
Is SkinCeuticals HA Intensifier worth the money?
Granted, at £115 for 30ml it's not cheap but then again I'm still using a bottle I bought months ago because at a maximum of 12 drops a day, this product goes a long way. While it's pricier than some other skincare products, its potent formula and the fact that the results speak for themselves make it a worthwhile investment if you're looking for visible improvements in your skin. SkinCeuticals is one of my favourite premium beauty brands because it's Science based and they do incredible trials proving results so at least you know what you're getting.
