Hi everyone, you may have noticed that I love travelling with a passion. Travelling is absolutely exhilarating - well, should I say, getting to your destination is exhilarating, not the actual travel bit which can be quite exhausting! However, with the right travel accessories you can make your journey smoother and more enjoyable and Amazon is a treasure trove of travel essentials, from practical gadgets to space-saving solutions and I thought it would be a good idea to write a blog post about some of the best ideas on offer.

Keeping all my cables neat and tidy is super helpful
It doesn't matter if you're jetting off to a far-flung destination or embarking on a weekend getaway, Amazon has got you covered and offers so many highly rated travel items to suit all your needs. I thought I would round up my top travel accessories and travel buys on Amazon here:
Best Travel Pillow
I don't always get on well with travel pillows but this Trtl Travel Pillow with Neck Support is a game changer. It doesn't matter how you sleep with this you can be reassured that your neck is always comfortable.
Best Power Pack
If I had to choose only a few items to travel with, the Anker MagGo Power Bank would be one of them. Both wireless and fast, this portable power bank means you will never run out of battery again. I would never be without this. I swear by a power bank, even every day in London.
Compression Packing Cubes
I adore Compression Packing Cubes because I'm a truly messy packer and these help keep my suitcase organised while maximising space. They're also handy for keeping clothing wrinkle free.
Packing Cubes
If compression cubes don't float your boat, these Amazon Basics Packing Cubes will! Again they are amazing for organising messy packers and keeping like things in one place. I could not be without these.
I really didn't understand the hype of packing cubes but I use say one for my gym kit, one for my underwear, one for my bikinis and it just helps keep things more organised.
Travel Shoe Bags
Sticking with the packing cube theme, while I don't yet have any, I am going to order some Travel Shoe Bags as I think they will enhance my packing as I always have so many different shoes on holiday. I think Matt will love these too. I hate thinking about how dirty the bottom of my shoes is making the items in my bag so these are a game changer if you travel with shoes.
Multi-functional Travel Adapter
Being able to stay connected in foreign countries in the past has meant multiple plugs - but not now. I rely solely on The Wizco Universal Travel AC Plug Adapter which supports multiple plug types and has built-in USB ports for charging. I would not travel without mine. Trust me when I say this is something you really need when travelling a lot.
Portable Luggage Scale
I'm not great when it comes to keeping weight down in my luggage. I am no light packer! That's why I always have to have a portable luggage scale and the Bagel Digital Luggage Scale is a great little accessory. It has a light to help see in badly lit airports / rooms and is super easy to operate. You can also get this £10 luggage scale I have personally used it for years, I take it in my hand luggage on every trip and it saves me from ever having overweight bags.
Noise Cancelling Headphones
As a person who works on the go, having wireless headphones is a must. I am also someone who just cannot cope with too much external noise so I'm never without my Apple AirPods Pro Noise Cancelling Headphones. Not only are these functional for listening to my favourite music / podcasts, they're also a dream for enabling peace and quiet! I cannot fly without my own headphones.
Travel Cable Organiser
Although I love the packing cubes for throwing things in such as knickers, bras etc I prefer my cables to be more organised so that they don't get tangled and for that purpose I use the Bagsmart Electronics Cable Organiser Bag. My mum first bought me one of these years ago and I have literally worn it out, it goes everywhere with me and saves me a load of hassle from twisted cables.
Travel Wallet
If like me, you like to keep all your travel documents and related items in one place, this Multi-purpose Travel Wallet may be very useful for you. Gone are the days where I stuff everything in my bag, I find items like this are so useful when in a busy airport and you have to have various bits and pieces ready for inspection.
Travel Organiser
When I arrive at my destination I don't want to spend hours trying to find my make-up, creams etc and I find the Bagsmart Hanging Toiletry Bag a godsend for organising all my bits and pieces and keeping them visible so that I can grab what I need.
Air Tags
Apple AirTags are small coin-shaped tracking devices designed to help you keep track of your belongings. They're simply invaluable to give you peace of mind and work seamlessly with Apple's Find My app, allowing you to track items such as bags, key etc. in real time. If you're wondering how Apple Airtags work, I simply pop one in my suitcase and then I can watch exactly where my bag is, so needing to worry about if my bag is lost or if it made it on the plane or not. I have a friend who's bag was lost by an airline and they couldn't find it, luckily she had an Apple AirTag inside it and could point them to exactly where it was. Genius huh? I wouldn't travel without my Apple AirTag in my suitcase. The Apple ones benefit from the privacy and security features inherent in all Apple products too. Other similar tracking devices are available from other manufacturers and offer similar functionality such as the Reyke Smart Luggage Tracker if you're looking for a little dupe of the AirTag.
I hope you agree that Amazon have some amazing travel essentials - from versatile gadgets to compact organisers, these items always help my travels to be more efficient. With the convenience of online shopping, stocking up on these must-haves is just a click away. If you were looking for teh best rated, top Amazon travel items and accessories hopefully this has helped you. Bon voyage!
